Thanks CeeCee! Yeah, I still have to be careful or I can turn my UD into a total carb binge I've been making Dreamfields pasta in place of regular and adding meatballs and no bread. I do allow myself a treat on my UDs though - it's all just trying to keep within your allotted calories.

Thanks Melanie! I see you have started JUDDD. I hope you like it! It really gives me a feeling of freedom. On my DDs it's easy because there's not much thinking involved. Then on my UDs I'm always searching for things to eat My biggest saving grace is knowing that if I have a craving on a DD knowing that I can have it tomorrow with no guilt!!!

Good morning I'm so happy it's Friday! DS has a basketball game tonight at 7:45 pm and it's like 45 minutes away Then tomorrow we are celebrating DH's birthday either by going out or having friends/family to our house. Luckily tomorrow is an UD Yesterday was a pretty good UD, I didn't track my calories after lunch but I was probably close. My two DDs made a funfettti cake with funfetti icing and I had a piece last night around 9:00 pm. They cut it and put it on a plate for me and brought it to the living room. They were so excited that they made it and iced it by themselves! I had to have a piece and just my luck it was an UD My weight this morning was 195.4 so I had a small jump up. Hopefully after today's DD I will see a new number tomorrow. My plan today is to fast until dinner time and then have a nice meal under 500 calories. I'm thinking a frozen weight watchers meal and some broccoli

Yes I would like that too. i think once I have my eating under control maybe I could give JUDDD a try... Maybe. I am such a carb head. LOL

They were so cute! DD Gracie (almost 10) was so happy with herself because she iced the cake. DD Erin (3) helped me make the batter and pour into the cake pan. Well, actually, she broke an egg halfway inside the bowl and then I had to clean up egg yolk everywhere

You should def give JUDDD a try once you're comfortable. I have to be careful of the carb monster too. But I enjoy eating carbs in moderation now and try not to stress over it. I only worry about calories.

Happy Saturday! Good DD yesterday and scale read 194.0 this morning. Only down 0.2 but a new low. Less than a pound away from first goal. I need to clean the house and go to the grocery store. We are having family and friends over for DHs birthday. We decided to stay home and not go out because next Saturday DH got tickets for a fundraising comedy show. We will just get a sitter for that.

Good morning It is flipping freezing here for crapsake The thermometer in my car read 7 degrees this morning - yikes! We had a great birthday weekend for DH. I did not partake in the alcohol at the party and I did not smoke Today is day #23 of no smoking!!! I did great on my UD/DD rotation until Sunday when it all went to heck I was doing great on my DD and then my DH made buffalo chicken dip w/tortilla chips for the Championship games. Needless to say it was very yummy. So Sunday turned into an UD and yesterday was an UD too Yesterday was DH's actual birthday so I made stuffed steak and had cake. I also had a work lunch at a Mediterranean restaurant that is to die for. I had a wonderful salad and filet mignon kabobs. I had a bite of stuffed grape leaves too - I didn't really like them so I only had a small taste. Anyhoo, today is going to be a DD but I'm going to do a steak day. I usually get good results from steak days and I don't feel so deprived. My weight on Saturday morning was 194.0 and this morning it's 197.8 So, I'm up 3.8 lbs. since my lowest. I had 3 UDs in a row and hardly any water so my goal today is TONS of water (which is going to suck because it's so cold!!!!) and for dinner a nice, juicy ribeye and a tomato. Moving forward and not going to cry over the weekend!!! I'll be happy to be back in the 194-195 range tomorrow and hopefully to my first goal of 193.2 by the end of the month

No worries about the UD's. I suspect the gain is mainly sodium. You'll be back down in no time!!

Thanks I think I'm so "snacky" because I can't smoke. It's kind of like trading one evil for another. I know the smoking is the worst though.

I never smoked, but I hear it is a BEAR trying to quit!

My friend who has cancer, smoked all her life, quit with the help of Chantix? She said it was the hardest thing she ever did.. of course till now.. ANYWAY, not throwing a cancer scare out there, but so GLAD YOU ARE QUITTING!!!!..

The water weight will be gone soon!!.. no doubts..

I quit all 3X I was pregnant with no problem at all. I did get pretty bad headaches though with my second pregnancy. I'm quitting cold turkey, no chantix. My MIL tried that and she said it made her goofey I don't want anything messing with my brain I tried the gum once and it just gave me really bad acid reflux so I threw it all away. Today is day #24 no smoking and my mommy's birthday!!!

I was disappointed with the scale this morning 196.2 I had a great DD, only having dinner of steak and a tomato. I did the hour long Callatics workout so it might just be water retention from my muscles. Stupid exercise!!! I know it's good for me but then it affects my weight.

Today is an UD and my mom's bday. We might go out to eat or order in at my house. My two DDs have gymnastics though until 7:00 pm tonight I don't like them to miss because it's $90/month for the both of them. Maybe we'll just order in and stay at my house. I can pick the girls up afterwards.

I know your frustration at the darn scale!! Exercise is wonderful, but yes, it does cause water retention.. That is why I am staying off for a while. .Hopefully the body will work through it.. but you did a good thing for your body!!..
