Hi chickies We got back from our weekend away yesterday afternoon - it was FABULOUS!!!! We started at Station Square and my friend Maria and her husband met us for drinks at the Hard Rock Cafe - right on the river. They have music playing and dancing lit up fountains - super cool. We had some appetizers there and a few drinks. Around 10:30 pm we headed over to the Rivers Casino. We started playing some slots togethere. We weren't doing anything so we went into the high rollers room and played Wheel of Fortune. We ended up splitting $525 - not too bad! Then DH and I went to play blackjack - that's what we really love! We both started out with $100 and he after a few hours we both cashed in over $600!!!!! So, we ended up winning over $1,000

Onto Saturday. We wake up and have a late checkout at noon. We start driving towards Maryland. Finally DH tells me we are going to Nemacolin Woodlands (The POSH spa) and that I have to be at the spa by 2:30. My first appointment was at 3:00 pm. I had a hot stone massage, spa pedicure, spa manicure, and facial!!! I was there for over 4 hours By far the facial was my FAVORITE. On top of the facial she massaged my neck, temples, face, arms, legs, feet - EXCELLENT. I told DH during the facial I could've cried, WEPT actually because it fel so good! I left the spa feeling like a wet noodle - so relaxing!! Then we went to dinner. We had general tso's wings, pasta and for dessert they brought us a HUGE warm brownie covered in ice cream that had hard chocolate on it, whipped cream, and strawberries Best thing I think I've ever eaten! We walked around for a while and then went back to our room. It was just FABULOUS!!!

Yesterday we drove home and had plans to go to the Pirates baseball game with our moms and families. Then we were going to go to a restaurant right on the river but RAIN killed our plans. We ended up getting take-out from an italian restaurant and everyone came to our house. It was a fantastic weekend!!!!

I REFUSE to weigh until maybe Friday or Saturday. I didn't worry about eating, drinking or anything all weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed myself! The food at Nemacolin was outrageously good. Oh, I forgot about breakfast yesterday. It was complimentary because of my spa package. I had Florentine Eggs Benedict - OMG to die for!!! Anyhoo, I'm sure I am UP a bunch of pounds but not going to let it get me down. Today is my 40th birthday and I'm just trying to grasp that for now

You know, alot of people do cry during massages. It's a huge release

Plans for today? Or are you back on the wagon (diet wise?) I would think you aren't doing anything til at least tomorrow?!?

I never heard that before (about crying)!!! Thank goodness we won the cash - it paid for the spa DH's plan worked out very well because he knows I would've been upset at the amount of $$$ the spa cost. But because we won it was like funny money

Not sure what we're doing today - Monday birthdays suck!!! So far I've had 2- 16 ounce cups of warm water with lemon and one 16 ounce coffee from McDonalds. I'm very bloated and dehydrated so I'm trying to push water, water, water today. I'm not hungry at all either. I may just wait til dinner to eat. I have a gift card to Applebee's so maybe me and the family will just go there. I can always have a steak and veggies. DH is having a party for me at our house on Saturday night for friends and family

Thanks! Well, that was after 4 hours of treatments I was actually really tired but starving. I would've been up for room service and then bed - 40 is tiresome

Oh I know I am beautiful inside and out but I am still a shorty! I just need to keep on keepin' on and I will get to where I need to be, no problemo. I do need to get a new pic but I am waiting for my personal goal I want to reach and not quite there yet, picture to come.

You know it's so funny because when I was young I HATED being tall! I was always taller than my friends and I would stoop my shoulders over to be their size. We always want what we don't have My grammy was only 4'-11" Even her sandals had heels

Yep, I want smaller boobage and I am hoping the Hcg Protocol will help with it. All kidding aside(accept the boobage part) I lub myself and wouldn't have it anyother way.
