Yesterday was a pretty good DD, came in around 600 calories and only ate dinner. The scale was down -1.8 this morning, inching my way closer to 190 lbs. I'm seriously thinking about a short round of hcg in January but I don't want it to be an excuse to eat whatever I want while on vacation. I would like to start the round in the low 190's. I don't want my head all screwed up and giving myself permission to eat and then end up over 200 again. I seem to do that when considering hcg. I'll have to look at the calendar and see if I have any obligations in January. I may change my mind too

Good idea I hate relying on hcg! Plus I struggle to get through rounds anymore. I'm lucky to make it past the first week

Hi Gracie,

you may want to check out Nicole T on the HCG board. She has started a thread about a rogue round. She is doing a very rogue round, and it is going extremely well. She has done 2 prior rounds that were very difficult for her(a woman after my own heart!!!). She is posting her menus.

Hi Thanks for checking up on me Weekends are just the worst for dieting right now. I ate like crap all weekend. I'm not even weighing today, just gonna have a good DD and go from there. I still have some Christmas shopping to do but I got a lot done over the weekend. I haven't wrapped a single thing though The holidays can get so stinkin' stressful! DS has a basketball game tonight, Tuesday DD has a band concert, Thursday DS has a basketball game, Friday DD has a birthday party and the list goes on and on and on...... There's just too much going on this week! I hope I don't forget anything

Marie ~ I'll have to check out her thread. I would love to stick with JUDDD just because I like the plan but I feel like my eating has been out of control on the weekends. Maybe one short rogue round would do me some good.

Good morning Yesterday was probably my best DD yet. I had a pack of 8 Fat Free Ball Park hot dogs in the fridge and that's what I ate all day. I had 3 for lunch, 3 for dinner, and one for a snack. I actually made 2 for a snack but Erin ate one So my calories for the day including coffee were somewhere around 350-400 My tummy was rumbling in bed though - I almost got up and ate something but luckily I haven't grocery shopped so my fridge is pretty empty We are leaving for vacation on Christmas morning so I hate to do a big grocery shop. I'll have to run out today for some essentials like milk, cereal, etc. Anyhoo, the scale read 194.6 this morning so I am still at least maintaining. I consider this a huge win because of everythiing I ate over the weekend. I even had some beers on Friday night with DH and his brother. Yesterday I decided to do a t-tapp bootcamp before we leave for vacation. I'm only doing the basic workout plus which is about 20 minutes but boy does it ever give results. I figure I can get in an 8 day bootcamp before we leave. I'll have to do it every day and then if I want I can take the DVD with me. I feel much better today knowing I will be exercising!!!

Hope everyone is getting all of their Christmas shopping and wrapping done. I still have a few things to buy. I still haven't wrapped anything!

Good work maintaining. That's supposed to be harder than losing anyway! I've never had the FF hotdogs. Are they good? How many calories/carbs in each, if you remember.

I know they are 50 calories per hot dog but I'm not sure of the carbs. I doubt it's very much though. They taste good - I dip them in ketchup. DD Erin ate one and didn't notice any difference.

Ended up at MedExpress yesterday and they diagnosed a UTI At least I'm not on vacation, right? They sent the culture out and will have results back in 3 days to make sure it's nothing worse like a kidney infection. My weight this morning was 194.8 so I'm still hanging in there. My BP was elevated yesterday but I think it was because I didn't feel well. It was 137/87 which is borderline. I bought a BP cuff and I took it multiple times today and it wasn't that high. My readings were 124/78, 130/80, 107/75, and 117/78. I get nervous at the doctor and I swear that's why my BP is always elevated when I'm there.

Today I'm just trying to feel better so I'm not really counting. I had a banana, 1/2 turkey sub on whole wheat (subway) and a bag of Baked Lays. I still have to wrap EVERYTHING Hoping DH can help me since I'm not feeling 100%. We have tix to the Steeler game on Sunday, hope I feel better by then. If not, I will just give my ticket to my DS.

Hope you feel better and pray that it's nothing more than initial dx. The plus it that you are getting treatment now vs on vacation so hopefully the antibiotics will kick in before you leave and you can enjoy FL.

Hi everyone We are back and I'm trying to get back to normal I still have to unpack everything - luckily everything is clean. My house still has Christmas presents everywhere! It's overwhelming!

Florida was fantastic! The weather was gorgeous. We had a couple cooler days but nothing like here in Pittsburgh. When we got home it was like 9 degrees and there was a foot of snow on our driveway. YUCK!

My eating has been crazy since before Christmas. My weight is up quite a bit I was hovering around 194-196 before Christmas and this morning it was 203.2 I'm hoping the travelling (airplane) has something to do with the bloat One can wish, right? So now I'm torn on what to do??? I was thinking of a round of hcg but January is never good because it's DH's birthday on the 21st and he likes to go out and celebrate or have friends/family at the house. Plus the thought of 23 days at 500 calories really scares me. I struggle after the first week So, I decided today I will try my first DD of 2013 and see where I end up tomorrow. I may start weighing only once a week and only after a DD. My goals are going to be in 10 lb. increments so I don't overwhelm myself. So, my first goal is 193.2 and I'm hoping to get there by February 1st. This may be a big goal but I'm hoping a lot of this weight is from the carbs/sugar and travelling. I also NEED to start exercising!!! I'm going to do Callanetics today because it's nice and slow (VERY DIFFICULT THOUGH).

My goal for 2013 is to get to 160 lbs. - that is where I would be VERY comfortable with myself. So I will have 4 mini goals of 10 lbs. each to work on and then the last few lbs. I would like to get to 160 lbs. by my 41st birthday on May 14th - that's about 2.5 lbs. per week. Does that seem too much? I don't want to get down on myself if I'm not achieving it.

I also want to stick STRICTLY to my JUDDD rotations for ONE MONTH and see what happens. My UDs were getting out of control! I'm going to start recording every calorie that goes into my mouth. I will always keep the HCG in my back pocket - I have a bottle of pellets in my purse just in case. I'm going to take the weekend to really think about what I want to do. I know HCG is quick but the mental toll is really hard!!!

I agree with you on the HCG. I know it works, but cannot face the 21 plus days of doing it right now.. Good luck with a strict month of JUDDD!!! You can do it.. Motivation is at a high point this time of year... Oh and the Biggest Loser starts Sunday!..

Hey Gracie, glad to hear you all had a lot of fun. Yeah traveling does retain water so the bloat will go down. I also thought of doing a round too but I just can't now...mentally. I've been doing JUDDD as well. Don't know if I'll stick with it but it's what I'm in the mind frame to do right now..LOL. Today is a DD but I'll need to switch it so that Sunday can be an UD.

Good morning Shari, Melanie, Deb, Katy, Amber, Marie, and anyone else who is reading! Scale read 199.6 this morning so I'm back in Onederland. My calories came in yesterday at 571 but I did Callanetics for 50 min. which supposedly burns 195 calories that I didn't figure in. My muscles are SORE today so it's working. Today is an UD and my calorie limit is 1950. I'm trying to keep it good whole foods and NO crap! My DD got this huge cupcake mold for Christmas and is planning on making it tonight with her friend who is sleeping over- help me Lord!!! Lol.

Hope everyone is having a great Saturday! I'm posting from my phone if this post is screwy!!!
