Well, I got back to where I started plus 0.6 lbs gone I will consider that a win with all of my activities in November. Been thinking about doing a few potato days next week to see if I can get into the 180's. It seems to be working for some people.

Hi pretty lady! I think your Dec. goal is totally achievable! I hope TOM goes easy on you this month! I still don't have mine back from having Austen which is awesome but I am paranoid I am going to get pregnant again since I have no clue where I am in my cycle!

TOM finally started this morning - thank goodness! I was so miserable yesterday I told DH I wasn't going to one of his Christmas parties tonight - not sure if he's mad or not I swear my PMS just keeps getting WORSE! Anyhoo I weighed this morning and it was not very good - 195.2 lbs. but I'm trying to remember that this is day #1 with TOM. Hopefully I can drop a few lbs. in the next few days. I usually gain anywhere from 2-6 lbs. with TOM. I did a potato day yesterday just because I was in the mood for potatoes and I had some here. It wasn't too bad. My goal for the year is to maintain as close to 190-195 as possible and then tackle a new goal for 2013. We have so many holiday parties coming up that it's ridiculous!!!

This is such a hard time of year to be on any plan! I think maintaining until the year's end is a great idea, that way you know you can go to the parties without stressing and you will be more likely to have fun and enjoy some of the foods! and alcohol! good heavens, don't forget the alcohol LOL!

It's a great idea to maintain until January. You've done great and staying close to 190 isn't a bad place to be.

Praying I maintain during December!!! We went to a party last night and I ate and drank like a champ. It was at The Lamont which overlooks Pittsburgh and the three rivers - just beautiful! Here's a pic.

So after last night I weighed this morning and I'm 195.4 so up +0.2 lbs. Not too bad considering. I had some crab cake appetizers, stuffed sausage hot peppers, then a salad, big plate of tortellini and THEN dinner came out I seriously felt bad because I couldn't eat most of it. There were 2 stuffed shrimp (crabmeat), filet, twice baked potato and veggies. I might have eaten one shrimp and two bites of the filet and potato. Then dessert was baked alaska - I had a few bites but was so full. I also had a few Michelob Ultras. Today I need to make it a good DD because tomorrow I have #1 Breakfast with Santa, #2 Football Banquet, and #3 Work Christmas party at Atria's PNC Park. All three of these events involve VERY good food!!!

I'm hoping tomorrow's weight is better as Bernice has already visited 3X this morning! TMI Anytime I drink beer this happens

I have been so busy with work, Christmas parties, and basketball! I feel like I'm on a roller coaster that will never end. DS had his first Varsity home game last night and won something crazy like 52-18. He did great! He has another game on Thursday for a tournament they are in. DD Gracie has 2 band practices for a Christmas concert, her basketball party, and a game on Saturday. Not to mention her Christmas school play on Friday night. I swear I can't keep up with everything! Plus I'm not even done shopping - I'm thinking GIFT CARDS this year!!!!

My weight this morning was 194.8 - can't complain, at least I'm not gaining. We had a huge Christmas party on Thursday, ate concession stand food on Friday night, Saturday THREE different parties, and Sunday I ate like crap watching the Steeler game. Not to mention I had beers on Thursday night and Saturday night. Yesterday I did a potato hack day I had 3-4 russet potatoes w/low -fat sour cream, spray butter, or ketchup. It kept me satisfied and I don't have to worry about what to eat next. I'm going to try another potato day today and tomorrow and see if I can get closer to 190 where I'm more comfortable. TOM is just about out the door Hoping to drop some water weight too

We have similar weight loss goals! It helps to read other people work to maintain and lose weight. All my friends who have done low carb weigh even less at their highest weight than my goal weight.Its hard with my, husband trying to gain weight and cooking for 3 boys. Luckily my kids love healthy eatingsstill. Great job maintaining and staying with it.

Hi Mrs. Leon, nice to meet you! I don't follow low-carb at all, I can't hack it I would always cheat on the weekend and gain back all that I lost My best tool was the hcg which I may try again in January.

Hi peeps! After my UD I am up exactly one pound. I started with a potato day but ended up eating a normal dinner of roast, potatoes, and carrots. I don't think I can survive on potatoes alone Today I really need a good DD - want to stay right around 500 calories. I would like to get back closer to 190 to feel comfy. I'm thinking of veggies and I have one of those low-calorie meals in the freezer, think it's chicken parm or something. Wish me luck!

Thanks Amber! It's 3:23 pm and I haven't eaten anything yet. I've had some coffee, water, and green tea. Holding out as long as possible. I tend to want to eat more if I start earlier in the day

Good work! For me, I'm the opposite. I need to eat right away in the morning and if I eat all 500 of my calories fairly early and close together, I can manage to get through the rest of the day without eating. My stomach wants food early and wants to feel full at least once.

Do you drink your coffee black?

No, I use creamer and equal - just a little though on DDs. If I would eat my 500 calories before dinner I would have to go to bed at like 6 pm

haha..I do think that most people are in your camp and save them for later in the day. I just can't hack it. I tried doing the bullet proof coffee and fat bombs and things like that but those didn't stop my need to eat a big breakfast.
