We're all good! It's just raining and cold. There's supposed to be a cold front hit the same time as Sandy so we'll probably have a snow storm! They are already cancelling trick-or-treat for Wednesday and moving it to Saturday. My cousin lives one mile from the beach in Delaware and I'm scared for her! She works at the hospital there and she's been sending me pictures. I told her to get the heck out of there!!!!

My eating was pretty good all weekend and the scale read 193.0 this morning. TOM is due on Wednesday so I'm assuming I'm holding water today. I was cranky yesterday so I know TOM is near We had senior rec on Saturday for my son's football team plus a fundraiser for a friend's daughter who has leukemia. It was freezing and I was in it for 11 hours!!! I had on underamour, then a t-shirt, then another shirt and I was shivering. We had to walk out in the rain!!!!

Today is an UD and I have sauerkraut, pork roast, and hot dogs in the crockpot. I'm gonna make some dumplings and mashed potatoes Holy comfort food!!!

Busy weekend...you're doing good despite TOM. I get cranky too sometimes with TOM/PMS so I just try to isolate as much as possible w/o anyone really noticing LOL. What a great cause to be out in the cold and rain...I know it was miserable but worth it. Comfort food...sounds delish!

Trying to post a picture from Saturday's Senior Rec. I did have 3 shirts all bunched up under the one I have on!!! I hate how it makes my middle stick out but I know it's the underarmour, and t-shirts underneath My DD Gracie left with her friend because it was COLD and RAINING!!!!

Hi peeps! Trying to stay dry and warm here. It's been raining forever! They cancelled our trick-or-treating and moved it to Saturday. That totally sucks because DS has a play-off game at 4 pm on Saturday. Trick-or-treat is from 6-8. Hoping we can get home in time!!!

TOM is starting today I was ravenous yesterday and went over my calories. I know TOM was the culprit. I'm not weighing today and trying to have a really good DD. It's hard though because I'm "snacky" So far I've had coffee/cream/equal and a banana - about 140 calories. TOM is giving me a headache and cramps too I can't wait til he's gone!!!

I will weigh tomorrow and see how I did for the month of October. JUDDD is really nice because every other day is enjoyable. Now if the weight loss would only pick up!!!

Well TOM is being a real bugger this month. I thought it started yesterday and has now slowed to a screeching halt? Hopefully it starts full force today - I'm getting tired of the hide-n-seek BS. I had a really good DD - my calories were exactly 499 My weight this morning is 192.8 lbs. which I'm fine with - TOM is still lurking so I know that I'm retaining water. Today is an UD and I've had coffee/cream/equal and one slice of Cinnabon cinnamon raisin toast with butter - OMG so good

I'm thinking of going out to dinner for Halloween with the kids since trick-or-treat got canceled until Saturday. Not sure yet because I have a nice roast sitting in the fridge that I could put in the crock pot and save some $$$.

I hate when TOM does that..geesh. Hope it comes and goes already!! Good DD yesterday and looks like you have a wonderful meal planned for today too, even if you don't go out. I meant to comment before and just realized I didn't but I nice pic!! It obvious you were layered up in that pic...so no worries. Is that your son?! He's tall!!!

Yep - he turned 13 in June and is almost 6 feet tall! My hubby is 6'-2" but Ricky looks taller in that pic? Maybe the cleats? I'm 5'-7" and he towers over me now We had him at the podiatrist because he was having major heel pain. The doctor said he was growing so quickly and that was causing the pain. He also did x-rays and said he has a lot of growing still to do because his growth plates aren't even close to fusing yet!!!

Wow, I went back to look at the pic and I can see resemblances to you..cute kid! He looks taller than 6'...my goodness, he's going to be taller than you hubby too!! I can't imagine my sons towering over me one day. My oldest will be 12 in December and he's still short to me....but don't tell him I said so. His dad is only 5'10 so he doesn't have a lot to go on..especially with me being a shortie.

He has my eyes It's very weird to have to look up to my 13 year old when talking to him!!! He always puts his arm around me and looks down and makes a joke My DH was 6'-2" in 8th grade and didn't grow an inch since then. Ricky is in 8th grade and almost 6'-0" so we'll see where he ends up. I think 6'-2" would be perfect!!!

So, I was shocked that my weight was exactly the same as yesterday morning after a pretty darn good UD!!! I quit counting my calories after lunch and getting into Gracie's Halloween goodie bag from school Then for dinner I made General Tso's Chicken w/fried rice and for dessert I baked brownies with chocolate chips in them Maybe TOM bloat is finally evacuating!!! TOM is in full force after playing turtle for the last few days. Hoping the JUDDD Magic is starting for me.

My goal for November is 185 lbs. I would be ecstatic to lose before the holidays. I will definitely make Thanksgiving an UD!!! Today's plan is less than 500 calories and lots of water/tea. I've had coffee/cream/equal and right now I'm sipping on green tea. Here's to a new low tomorrow!!!

YAY...TOM has stopped playing around, you had a great UD with no gain and lost eating what you wanted in October...that's fantastic news!! I'm with you and would like to lose around 5-7 more pounds....so close but my body is not budging. I've lost a total of 0.6 oz over the past 3 days..yup, 0.2/day. You're doing good, here's to reaching mini-goal this month!

TOM is kicking my butt today I'm super hungry and really trying to control it. I'm at 309 calories so far. I have a beef tip roast in the crockpot with carrots and golden potatoes If I go to my upper end of a DD, I still have 569 calories so I'm not going to stress it!!!

Today's Menu:

B: coffee/cream/equal 44 cal
L: FF Hot Dog/ Lite Bun/ 3 ounce baby carrots 165 cal
Snack: Lite buttered Popcorn 100 cal

I feel better now that I had the popcorn but I have a slight headache. I can't wait to evict TOM from my body

We have sons around the same age...have you thought about Christmas shopping for him yet and is he heavily into games and electronics? Both of my boys are all into electronics and games...Christmas is more expensive than ever since they've gotten older but I certainly don't get them everything they ask for, it's too much but I ask what they want so I can have an idea. They also want Legos, which I don't mind because it causes them to use their noggin vs. playing games all day but man, they are so darn expensive too!! I remember the days when I could just get them inexpensive trucks, cars, Power Ranger figurines, etc.

He's not into video games at all - thank goodness! He already has an i-phone that he uses constantly. He hasn't really said what he wants yet for Christmas this year. Last year I got him a flat screen 32" TV for his bedroom (great price day after Thanksgiving), ice skates (hockey), clothes, football, etc. He doesn't believe in Santa anymore so it's easy to just find out what he wants DEFINITELY way more expensive than when he was little

My local grocery store had a lot of meat buy one get one free this week. I got 2 beef roasts, 2 pork roasts, 2 packs of pork chops, etc. Maybe that's why everyone is eating it?

How'd you luck out with him not being into games? LOL! They can cost $60/pc but I have been very lucky with finding them at reduced prices on Black Friday over the last couple years...but they're still expensive when you add them up. I now take their old gaming systems and games to GameStop to sell after they no longer uses them so I canat least earn some money back through store credit.

I know he loved getting his own flatscreen tv in his room. Right now my boys pretty much own the flatscreen tv in our family room (I usually watch my specific, non-kids shows in my bedroom) so I haven't had to venture out and get one for their bedroom yet, but I know that'll come soon LOL.

Oh my boys found out about no Santa about 2 years ago so no more beating around the bush for me either!! I'll be glad when I can just give them money and they can go shopping for most of their stuff on their own!!

He used to play video games but just lost interest He would always play that one war game???? I think now he's more into girls than anything He has a girlfriend He has grown up a lot in the last 6 months - CRAZY! Luckily, my DH has never been into video games either - that would drive me bonkers! My 2 BIL's both play all the time

He said he doesn't like her anymore but he's always asking who she likes now..I guess he hopes his name will come up eventually. My youngest still don't have a full interest..and that's fine with me!!

Yesterday was a hard DD for me but I made it through The scale rewarded me this morning with a -1.8 lb. loss and down to my lowest while JUDDD'ing Of course it's Friday which means the weekend Weekends are always challenging!

I was thinking of making today a MD and tomorrow and UD, Sunday a DD. I don't have much going on today except DS has a basketball game at 6 pm. Tomorrow DS has a playoff football game at 4:00 pm and then we are probably going to a party for the team. I'm sure there will be food and adult beverages served I want to be able to partake if I so choose. Decisions, decisions.

So far today I've only had pumpkin spice coffee/cream/equal and I'm not super duper hungry. This always happens - on my DDs my tummy growls and on my UDs I'm not as hungry Probably MENTAL

That's great!! I got mine on sale from HHGregg during the summer, it's a Dell. I like mine, so far no problems. The best sales will probably be on Black Friday

Hi Gracie,

I have an HP Pavillion g series(g4), and I have dropped it numerous times and it still works. I told dh that when it finally quits I will replace it with the same one. It's been very good to me with all the drops. One time it fell off a high boy dresser, so long fall. I believe at the time it was under $400.
