FROM DAILY WEIGHERS THREAD

I would like to join you all as well. My goal for October is to follow my UD/DD rotations and follow my calorie numbers. I have a normal than high starting weight because of a high carb weekend and TOM starting yesterday.

My goal for October is 185 lbs.

10/1 198 lbs. DD (722 cal)
10/2 194 lbs. UD (aiming for 1952 cal) - probably closer to 2000+
10/3 193.2 lbs. DD (Loss after an UD - YES!!! ) Calories were 646 but I exercised for about 233 calories
10/4 192.4 lbs. UD (Did 30 Day Shred yesterday and no gain -YAY!)
10/5 194.4 lbs. DD <500 (Did 30 Day Shred)
10/6 192.4 lbs. UD Had around 1500 calories and some lite beers
10/7 DNW - Had a MD ~ 1225 calories
10/8 194.2 DD <500 Fasting until dinner
10/9 193.4 lbs. UD (1952 calories goal)
10/10 195.2 DD (Going the wrong way!) Goal < 500 calories
10/11 192.2 UD 1952 calories (trying to stick to lower carb today)
10/12 195.0 DD <500
10/13 194.4 UD - taking Sudafed for sinus - calories 2000
10/14 195.0 UD Turned into UD due to 10 hours at football field
10/15 195.2 DD <500
10/16 195.2 UD 1952 calories
10/17 DNW - will resume weighing after today's DD, calories 568
10/18 194.0 UD 1952 calories
10/19 194.4 DD <500

Not too bad after an UD.

And, YES, back to basics for me too

I think you've hit the nail on the head!! I never really looked into it but I lose weight better when I am doing JUDDD without (as you say it) complicating it too much!

I'm glad you decided to stick to the rotation and carry on. You'll see a big difference in your body soon. Oddly enough, the scale may not move as fast but you'll lose inches fairly well.

Hi Peeps! Thank God it's Friday And, we only have ONE football game this weekend, tomorrow at 4:00 pm. I'm not even sure if I'm going - it's the team we played last year when the cops had to come. I'm scared for DS!!!! I wish we could forfeit

I had a good UD yesterday. I counted my calories up til lunch and then just ate what I wanted until satisfied. We went to Primanti's for dinner and I had a grilled chicken sandwich w/lettuce, red onion, tomato and mayo. It came with a side of fries and I only ate a couple. Believe me, there were 1,000 worse choices I could've made there. All of their sandwiches come with cole slaw and french fries on them and I opted to NOT have that!!! All 5 of us shared dessert - it was a huge warm brownie topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate sauce. We had 5 spoons and I probably had 3 bites. I am up 0.4 lbs. today, so not too bad!

Today is a DD and I have to work the super bingo tonight for our school. It will be like 6-7 hours standing and selling tickets We have to raise 1000 fundraising points for the year and this usually gets us 500 because they take all of the coaches and divide the money earned between them. I guess it's worth the $500 My plan is to have Wendy's Chili (large) for 340 calories and maybe a salad. I can always chomp on carrots if I'm hungry.

Seriously, I try to complicate everything!!! But, I was reading a new thread and Pat (SoHappy) was explaining how you can't go by 24 hour cycles because a true DD/UD is actually more like 36 hours including sleep. Something about cardian rhythms (sp?) and how a true day is darkness and light. Very interesting and I was like "DUH!!! YOU ARE DOING THIS WRONG " I was fasting and my daily calories were always lower, so I was NOT benefiting from the UD/DD differences.

Oh, my clothes are all loose! My tummy is definitly smaller. I will measure after another week or so. I have my beginning measurements from when I started the 30 day shred, but I haven't done the exercise in a week

Yep, last year we had to call the cops because the moms were threatening our kids and actually started hitting one of our dads!!! CRAZY

Just last weekend here in the East end of Pittsburgh there was a SHOOTING at a youth football game. It was a 6/7 year old game - WTH? The 64 year old woman died on Wednesday and 2 others are critical. So sad. A grandma probably went to watch her grandson play football and ended up dead. I don't think they've arrested anybody yet.

My DH wonders why I want them to forfeit the game

OMG that's horrible!! I think we're definitely more protective as mommies..always thinking of the worst case scenario and trying to keep them as far away as possible. Hopefully they (other team) will come with some decency and play fair...first sign of arguing and I'd call the cops. Unbelievable how some parents behave and get so fired up at children's games

That is terrible, Gracie! Stories like that make me so thankful I live in a small midwest town! Although I suppose it could happen anywhere but it is not the norm here.

My weekend went pretty well. Friday I worked a super bingo for 8+ hours and I was so tired and sore from walking around all night. Saturday I hung out with my girlies and then went out with some friends for a bday celebration. I had a few lite beers. Yesterday I went to the craft store and picked up stuff to make a couple baskets for a chinese auction for this Saturday. Then I took the girls to the park and came home and had them paint and decorate bird houses. They had fun! Last night we watched the Steeler game and had buffalo chicken dip! Today will be a good DD and I will weigh tomorrow. Hoping to see below 192 by the weekend

The dip is DA BOMB!!! It's chicken, buffalo hot sauce, ranch dressing, cream cheese, sour cream and cheddar cheese all baked together!!! We had tortilla chips and crackers to dip. My tummy is not great today though I think it's the hot sauce

Yesterday my calories came in at 489 - so it was a good DD. My weight is 194 but I feel like I'm retaining water. My rings are kind of snug on my fingers. Maybe inflammation? I checked my calendar and TOM isn't due until November 1st. Anyhooo, I need to drink more water today and keep my calories in check. I had coffee and McMuffin for breakfast. Dinner is going to be chicken stir fry (Market Day) - lunch, not sure yet. I'm not going to weigh after my UD, just after Wednesday's DD. I don't want to go all mental on everyone

Hope everyone is having fantabulous Tuesday!

Hi peeps Today is a DD and I'm feeling hungry So far I've had coffee and a large wendy's chili w/hot sauce. I'm around 354 calories. I know TOM isn't due for 5-7 days, but maybe PMS has a hold of me??? Who knows! I'm really trying to fight off the hungries today and remember that tomorrow I can have whatever I want.

I will report weight after today's DD. I did not weigh this morning because I'm feeling all PMS'y and cranky

Hope you make it through, this is a tough time PMS...

Do you try to spread food out over the day, or wait to eat at once? What are your DD cals? I see some are eating up to around 800 a day and doing ok. I know that is more the maintenance phase, just wondering how adding a few more cals would work.

Anyway! Have a great day and do your best!!

10/20 194.2 UD 1952 calories (went out w/girlfriends)
10/21 193.6 Made it an UD because I need Sat. to be UD

10/23 194.0 UD
10/24 DNW DD = 580 calories
10/25 194.0 UD - Had way too many calories (2400) and STS!!!
10/26 194.0 DD <500

I went over on my calories last night before bed (PMS) and STS today Hoping for a wooshie tomorrow!!!

I would like to join you all as well. My goal for October is to follow my UD/DD rotations and follow my calorie numbers. I have a normal than high starting weight because of a high carb weekend and TOM starting yesterday.

My goal for October is 185 lbs.

10/1 198 lbs. DD (722 cal)
10/2 194 lbs. UD (aiming for 1952 cal) - probably closer to 2000+
10/3 193.2 lbs. DD (Loss after an UD - YES!!! ) Calories were 646 but I exercised for about 233 calories
10/4 192.4 lbs. UD (Did 30 Day Shred yesterday and no gain -YAY!)
10/5 194.4 lbs. DD <500 (Did 30 Day Shred)
10/6 192.4 lbs. UD Had around 1500 calories and some lite beers
10/7 DNW - Had a MD ~ 1225 calories
10/8 194.2 DD <500 Fasting until dinner
