FROM DAILY WEIGHER THREAD JUDDD

I would like to join you all as well. My goal for October is to follow my UD/DD rotations and follow my calorie numbers. I have a normal than high starting weight because of a high carb weekend and TOM starting yesterday.

My goal for October is 185 lbs.

10/1 198 lbs. DD (722 cal)
10/2 194 lbs. UD (aiming for 1952 cal) - probably closer to 2000+
10/3 193.2 lbs. DD (Loss after an UD - YES!!! ) Calories were 646 but I exercised for about 233 calories
10/4 192.4 lbs. UD (Did 30 Day Shred yesterday and no gain -YAY!)
10/5 194.4 lbs. DD <500 (Did 30 Day Shred)
10/6 192.4 lbs. UD Had around 1500 calories and some lite beers
10/7 DNW - Had a MD ~ 1225 calories
10/8 194.2 DD <500 Fasting until dinner
10/9 193.4 lbs. UD (1952 calories goal)
10/10 195.2 DD (Going the wrong way!) Goal < 500 calories
10/11 192.2 UD 1952 calories (trying to stick to lower carb today)
10/12 195.0 DD <500
10/13 194.4 UD - taking Sudafed for sinus - calories 2000
10/14 195.0 UD Turned into UD due to 10 hours at football field
10/15 195.2 DD <500

I'm thinking the Sudafed/Benadryl is not helping my weight loss right now. My sinuses are killing me and I have to take something! Hoping today's DD gets me back down to where I was.

Hi peeps Saturday was my UD and then yesterday turned into another UD. I was stuck at the football field all day. I had oatmeal and 1/2 banana around 11:00 am and then a soft pretzel around 2:00 pm. We went to a friend's house after the last game and I was starving. I had a slice of pizza, a small section of italian hoagie, one wing, and 2 cookies This was around 7:00 pm. I hardly drank any water yesterday either. It was a beautiful day though - not super hot and very breezy. DS (13) is the QB and he was doing really good but then took a hit and he struggled the rest of the game. He could barely get out of bed this morning He said it's either his tailbone or his back. I think I'm going to call his doctor today to see if he would like to see him. I'm starting to really hate football

My plan today is to drink loads of water and then have a nice 500 calorie dinner focusing on veggies and protein. Hopefully this will get me back down to where I was last week. I'm still enjoying JUDDD though - praying to see some losses

oh Girl you will see the losses!!! you know what to do!.. JUDDD is perfect for these situations. I hope your dear boy feels better soon! Football is rough, no doubt, but such an awesome sport!... It is so scary Now that he's 13 the weight limit is like 165 lbs. - that's man size! Out of our 4 teams, it seems we have a boy leaving every week with a concusssion. Did football get rougher or are we more aware of injuries now? My DH said when he played he would black out on the field and get up and continue to play!!! CRAZY

How scary! Football always scared me for the kids. DS never wanted to play (thank goodness) but my nephew plays and at times I just can not bear watching! ESPECIALLY when the opposing team is rougher than they are!

Hope you feel better...you must feel miserable. Yikes about your son!! I'm so scared to let my son play because of situations like this...I'd be on pins and needles the whole time, too scared to really enjoy it. I hope your 'baby' feels better and he just need to rest.

I feel like JUDDDing now myself..LOL, after a weekend of 'fun eating' I feel like a stuffed sausage. But look, you only gained 0.2 after an UD!!

My dad had a good suggestion the other day, go back to leather helmets! That is certainly a way to cut the hard hits and over aggression!

No loss after a DD! But I didn't get much sleep. I've been awake since 5 a.m. and couldn't fall back asleep I'm getting frustrated

So, no loss after a DD I have been up since 5 a.m. though - I couldn't sleep for some reason. I think I have too much going on in my head Today is an UD and I had coffee and oatmeal for breaky. I'm going to just keep on keepin on. I may not weigh tomorrow morning to avoid getting in a bad mood

Yesterday was an odd day - I had some kind of stomach bug. Bernice visited many times Then I had dinner and brownies, so no weighing for me today. I was so hungry by dinner because I couldn't eat much during the day because it would go right through me Today I tried the bulletproof coffee for breakfast - but I didn't have mold free coffee?? and I just used coconut oil, little bit of butter, cream, and equal. I'm hoping this keeps me full for a few hours. Unfortunately I already feel hungry I'm going to start downing a couple bottles of water and see how I feel.

Oh, I ate yesterday but everything came right back out I was fine after dinner so I'm hoping it was just a stomach bug. I think that is ALL of our problems... our bodies love food.... how quaint...

I am also frustrated with my slow losses, last week only .2! UGH.. however, I know it is staying off now, so I should be patient... RIGHT?......

That is my problem though, I get impatient and want to try something else.. I must put a stop to that.. but I really want this fat off for good!..

I guess we will just have to do what works for us... no matter what that may be within reason.......

Ok, so I've been reading up on some JUDDD threads and I think I'm making this way too complicated. I've been trying to IF until dinner on DDs and then sometimes on UDs too. I've been trying to stay low-carb as well. I think I'm dooming myself into failure! I need to just stick to JUDDD rotations and not worry about anything else.

I'm going to call today INDUCTION DAY #1 and it's a DD. I was doing weird things like fasting for 20 hours and then eating an UD. I don't think I was getting enough calories if you count sunrise/sunset days. I read a thread where someone was thinking of doing UDs from 2:00 one day to 2:00 the next, which was kind of what I was doing. She got an awesome response that explains that this is not JUDDD. I'm thinking I put too much stress on my body and put it into starvation mode

It makes much more sense to me now after reading up on some of the JUDDD threads. WHY do I make things more complicated than they are???

what's funny is that I get this 'itch' for lack of a better word to do it then after about the 3rd or 4th day of mentally missing food, I'm thinking "why in the world did I decide to do this again?" Craziness, I tell ya!

I'm the same...way too complicated and put too much stress into something that really isn't that stressful then want to give up. You do really well on JUDDD...I'd agree with your statements to stick to rotations and cals..that seems to be where the magic happens.

FROM DAILY WEIGHERS THREAD JUDDD

I would like to join you all as well. My goal for October is to follow my UD/DD rotations and follow my calorie numbers. I have a normal than high starting weight because of a high carb weekend and TOM starting yesterday.

My goal for October is 185 lbs.

10/1 198 lbs. DD (722 cal)
10/2 194 lbs. UD (aiming for 1952 cal) - probably closer to 2000+
10/3 193.2 lbs. DD (Loss after an UD - YES!!! ) Calories were 646 but I exercised for about 233 calories
10/4 192.4 lbs. UD (Did 30 Day Shred yesterday and no gain -YAY!)
10/5 194.4 lbs. DD <500 (Did 30 Day Shred)
10/6 192.4 lbs. UD Had around 1500 calories and some lite beers
10/7 DNW - Had a MD ~ 1225 calories
10/8 194.2 DD <500 Fasting until dinner
10/9 193.4 lbs. UD (1952 calories goal)
10/10 195.2 DD (Going the wrong way!) Goal < 500 calories
10/11 192.2 UD 1952 calories (trying to stick to lower carb today)
10/12 195.0 DD <500
10/13 194.4 UD - taking Sudafed for sinus - calories 2000
10/14 195.0 UD Turned into UD due to 10 hours at football field
10/15 195.2 DD <500
10/16 195.2 UD 1952 calories
10/17 DNW - will resume weighing after today's DD, calories 568
10/18 194.0 UD 1952 calories

Scale went down so I'm happy. Still not back to my low for the month but I've been screwing around with trying to IF until dinner and keeping things low-carb, blah, blah, blah I think I was sabotaging myself. I called yesterday Induction Day #1 and I'm following UD/DD rotations and counting calories. No need to complicate this!!!

Scale heading in the right direction again. Sheesh, I wish I didn't always try to complicate things! I didn't get much sleep last night because of my sinuses and I took a Sudafed already this morning. That always makes the scale go up for some reason. I will push the water today and stay within my 1952 calorie limits. I already had coffee/cream/equal and an Egg McMuffin from McD's.
