TGIF! I really need a nice, relaxing weekend. I'm hoping the rain holds off but it doesn't look good at all. TOM is still playing hide -n-seek but I can tell it's almost 100% here. Last night my cravings were awful. I ate strawberries with splenda to try and help the sugar monster. It didn't work I ended up eating a few chocolate chip cookies Being on hcg is hard enough - with TOM it's absolute torture!!! Luckily the scale STS today. I know I lost a day of losing weight but at least there was no gain. It's a win in my book. Today is a new day and I'm feeling a bit better. I'm thinking of holding off my protein portions until dinner and having a nice filet (7ounce). I usually have a nice drop after that. Anyhoo, everyone have a fantastic holiday weekend!

Good morning I survived the weekend without gaining! I'm down about 2 lbs from the weekend which is pretty good considering it was a holiday weekend. I did not partake in any of the adult beverages and I tried to keep on plan. I did fall off once on Sunday night because I was starving. I was at the football field for 8 hours and got home at 8 pm. I ended up eating 4 chicken wings because they were there. I can tell that I'm retaining water as well. My fingers are puffy and my rings are tight. I need to push the water today. After 8 days I'm down approx. 10-11 lbs. TOM is nearly gone which is fantastic. Today is LCD #9 and I'm still optimistic to finish this round. If I can make it through a long weekend the rest should be cake right? MMMMMMM CAKE On Sunday morning I was lower by about 1.5 lbs. but after Sunday night's wing fiasco it came back and hasn't left yet. Praying to see a nice drop tomorrow. I have a goal for myself set and once I reach it I'm getting a nice mani/pedi. And if I reach my big goal I'm getting my hair done I'm only a couple lbs. from my first goal - hoping to get the mani/pedi on Friday!!!!

Everyone have a great week!

Have a great day!

Don't be unimpressed with your loss! It took a lot of restraint and willpower to not just give in and drink when you could've easily done so. The protocol/Omaha plan is more difficult on the weekends because of this. You're 10-11lbs smaller than last week, honey that's success!!

Now regarding the Steelers...shameful what you all are doing to you poor DD, exposing her!! She doesn't know yet...bless her heart. I haven't seen their schedule yet, do you know when do we play each other?

Good morning The scale went back down -1.4 lbs. this morning I have exactly 2 lbs. until I get my nails done - woooo hoooo!!!! Hoping to get them done on Friday Yesterday I kind of stayed on plan I had P2 Chili for lunch with an apple. For dinner I had a grilled chicken salad from McDonalds (Santa Fe) and I used the Santa Fe dressing that it came with. I did pick off the tortilla strips, cheese, and corn. I know I did eat a little of the those things (except tortillas). Then I had 5 pretzel sticks (110 calories). I was feeling very hungry and tired so I needed the extra pick me up. The scale went down and that's all that matters. I did get a good amount of water in yesterday. Today my goals are to stay 100% on plan and get my water in. Keep it Simple

AWWWW Thanks all my friends for checking in on me!!! Your support means the world to me

I lost -1.6 lbs. this morning! The first reading was actually down 3.0 lbs. but then it jumped up the next few times so I'll take that reading. I'm very happy with my progress. I've met my first goal for this round so I'm going to get my nails done tonight or tomorrow. I'm down 13 for the round - not too shabby! I was looking at my calendar and I'm on VLCD#11 so I'm like halfway DONE!!! YAY! I've been craving some P3 foods. My menu yesterday was wonky - not at all on plan!!!

B: coffee/cream/splenda
L: homemade grilled chicken salad w/wishbone spray dressing
D; 1/2 gyro (from pizza place)

Yes, I ate 1/2 gyro. I figured the meat was my protein, there was lettuce, tomatoes, and onions (veggies) and 1/2 the pita bread was my starch allotment Oh well, I lost so I'm not gonna worry about it.

I also had a handful of cinnamon life cereal around 9:00 pm because I was snacky - it was probably about 20 calories. My daily calories were still right around 500

I also cut out the Powerade Zero and it seems to be helping. I think they are full of salt/sodium and it probably wasn't doing me any favors.

Good morning my peeps! Happy Friday to all!

So, I've posted as well in 2 other threads that my weight jumped up one lb. this morning. I knew it was going to happen because I chose to eat sugar/carbs last night because I wasn't feeling well. I think my potassium is low or my blood sugar was out of whack. I felt much better after I ate the sugar. On a good note, Bernice has visited 3X since my weigh in so there may not have been as much damage as I thought. I will weigh tomorrow and see - not going to worry about it. I felt like crap and needed to eat!

Today is a modified steak day I'm going out at lunch to buy some steaks for the family. I have a busy weekend again. Tonight is the high school football game and then tomorrow I have FOUR football games to sit through! My DD cheers at one and then DS plays in the last game of the day. Then on Sunday the STEELERS play It's a total football weekend for me Thank God I love football

You'll rid yourself of that pound in no time!!

BTW - Coconut water is wonderful for potassium (just sayin' altho you told me that could be my culprit )

I have a question, how do you get by on weekends on plan? I mean that Saturday you have planned would KILL ME! (I am not as focused as you are tho )....I barely make it on weekends I have no plans!

Oh and what do you consider a modified steak day?

P.S. GOOD LUCK! You're doing so well!!!!

on the coconut water!!!

I have no idea what I'll do tomorrow Maybe I'll grab a couple apples and then I'll eat from the concession stand. We have grilled chicken sandwiches so I can just eat the chicken. We also have "walking tacos" - I could just take the taco meat and make a nice salad. I'll just drink lots of water and pray it's not 90 degrees! Last weekend it was so hot and I was sweating profusely. I was at the football field for 8 hours and only peed ONCE!!! Talk about dehydrated!

Oh, a modified steak day - coffee only in the morning and then for dinner I have a 7-8 ounce steak and a whole tomato. It's modified because the steak can't be as GINORMOUS as we want it. I stick to the allotted protein for the day.
