YES TOM!!! What a bugger I'll have to get some of the hot chocolate - that would be great at night while I'm watching TV with the kiddos. Plus I'm so cold when I'm on hhcg! Thanks for the tip

Weight this morning was down -3.4 lbs I guess the water retention was pretty bad from TOM. So as of Monday I've lost -8.4 lbs! I'll take it. Now my real challenge - the WEEKEND I'm always pretty good during the week but weekends are horribly hard for me. DH wants to go to the lake because this will be our last weekend because of football. I'm not sure though because Erin still isnt' feeling well. I may just let the men go and keep the girls home. I could catch up on some cleaning and school shopping. Yesterday I wasn't hungry so I had an apple around 1:30 pm and for dinner I had an 8 or so ounce Delmonico steak and sauteed portabello mushrooms I sauteed the mushrooms in coconut oil - I know oil isn't allowed on P2 but I've used CO before with no problems. There's something about medium change fatty blah blah blah Anyhoo, whatever I did worked because I released a lot of pounds!!! I was satisfied for the night too. Today I need to use up the 93/7 ground beef I have in the fridge. I'm thinking sauteeing it with some onions and tomatoes for a nice chili.

Oh well, hope everyone is doing good - have an awesome FRIDAY!!!!!

YOWZER!!! 8.4lbs since Monday?!!! That's incredible..congrats!!! You do exceptionally well with hhcg. Are you doing Omaha? What brand of CO do you use? I agree, I always feel better with some fat plus it helps with cravings. So sorry about your baby...I hope she feels better.

Jan~I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. I'm glad to see you're back and doing this with us. Congrats on the pounds loss thus far.

Maggie~thanks for the reminder of the hot cocoa...that has been a lifesaver in the past when doing this. I grabbed 100cal popcorn...do you use this?

Thanks Shari, have not started a journal as of yet but it looks like I'm here for awhile. Last time I tried I could not get to your journal it was blocked here at work but could get to Gracie's. Will try in a minute. I think they have changed some things here.

I know. I've been 'good' in this journal. It was the first one with Tamika that I was an absolute mess. She was so naughty I think about her and Trish from time to time. They were our beginning protocol buddies. But it was Jan that first introduced me to it and became a life changer ever since. So glad you're back.

I miss Tamika, Trish, and Lo-Lo I wonder where they are??? We were all rockin' the protocol back then If we would've only followed all the rules for P3 and P4 we would be at goal

OMG I am freezing - especially in the evening. We have A/C and last night I was wrapped up in a blankie watching the Olympics My DH was like WTH??? TOM is here full force now though so I think that may help with the body temps.

My lunch was yummy - I made lean ground beef. I sauteed it in EVCO and onions I topped it with my sweet onion salsa. I figure the tomato could be my fruit for that meal. I made the whole pound so I have a lot left over. I'll probably have it for dinner tonight too.

I ran to the store and grabbed some things for the weekend. I got yellow summer squash, frozen strawberries, 1% fat cottage-cheese, apples, lemons, fat-free butter olive oil spray, and some sugar-free raspberry vinaigrette salad dressing. The dressing has 5 calories and zero everything else It's made with splenda. Maybe instead of the ground beef concoction I'll have some grilled chicken nuggets over lettuce, with red onions and strawberries - and the raspberry vinaigrette

I bought the lemons and frozen strawberries to try a strawberry frozen lemonade. I'll use half of my strawberries for the salad and the other half for the lemonade.

Praying I can make it through the weekend without blowing it

I do too. I texted Lo..she's doing well but is busy with work. Hopefully she'll be able to drop in soon. Ugh, I think about how fiercly motivated we were then. I felt like I had been given a gift of knowledge to finally get this weight off. I'd never been able to hit the 160's much less the 150's until hhcg.

LOL, I keep forgetting until I restart how cold I feel. At least it's better doing this in the summer vs. winter! Yay, glad TOM is here for you..I know you've missed him

You are so right about being given the gift of knowledge to get this weight off!!! I wonder why we sabotage ourselves??? I need to go listen to some more of Robin's videos. She seems to hit the nail on the head. Don't worry, you'll get back down - the hardest part is starting again!!!

Have a fantastic weekend!

Gracie it seems you have everything in place for the weekend. That frozen strawberry lemonade idea is a keeper for me. I've used the raspberry vinaigrette in the past and it is good. Is it Vermont brand?

Hi peeps! We got back from the lake last night - I'm exhausted! Erin is feeling a bit better. It seemed to me more like allergies so I've been giving her Claritin and she's been much better. I did pretty good on Friday but Saturday was a wash. My BFF and her family came to our camp and I ended up having a few beers and eating 2 slices of pizza Oh well, we had a blast. We went boating all day and then had a corn hole tournament. Then we sat by the campfire til like 4 a.m.!!! I weighed this morning and I'm up 1.8 lbs. Today marks my first week and I'm still down -6.6 lbs. so I'm happy. I'm back on VLCD today and just going to move on. I'm trying to live like Robin suggests and treat myself as I would treat my children. Would I scold them for eating 2 slices of pizza? NOPE. My next two weeks look clear of social events except I got a text from a girlfriend for a girls night out on Friday I can decline it but it's so enticing

I haven't been out with this group of friends in a while - we always have too much fun My son has a football scrimmage on Saturday at 1 pm so we aren't going to the lake this weekend (or at least until after the game). I would hate to miss a good time!
