Glad you had a successful LC weekend and a good weekend in general! We are having beautiful weather here, and I spent a good chunk of time outside drinking coffee and reading yesterday. Heavenly!

I know just what you mean about being anxious to get back to JUDDD. While I thoroughly enjoyed my LC time off, I always had JUDDD in the back of my mind. It's got some strange hold on us, I guess!

I agree with both of you!

Work has been causing me MAJOR STRESS. I think I must have some sneak carbs in there. I'm not counting, maybe I should. I also have had a few bars recently. I am immediately cutting those out because.......

BLAH day for me. I hopped on the scale and I am 177! That is high for me. So I promptly threw the scale out the window. I didn't, but man did I want to!

Yes! on those bad scale days I dream of it having a throat...the better to strangle it.

Sorry about your work stress, that's awful because you have to be there.

THANK YOU GIRL!!!!!!!!!! I need it! Scale, I am banishing for a while! BLAHHHHHH

That means, from my all time low of 167, I am up 10 pounds. It has been a LONG TIME since I saw 167, but still!!!!!!!!

Well, we know that stress can cause some gains. Ignore that scale number, keep doing what you're doing because you need this break. It will all come back down. I truly believe that.

You are right, I hope it comes down easily too.

I did walk yesterday for 5 miles and today for 5 miles....trying to work that stress out by activity! LOL

Life is going here. Worked 12 hours yesterday. Dang! I didn't walk this morning, I was too tired, I opted for another hour of sleep. I did do 10 minutes with the hula. Hope to do 20 more tonight and get 2 miles in at lunch.

Scale still shows 177! Dang thing! LOL

Grrrrr to that scale! I think it needs to keep its big mouth shut for awhile. 12 hour days are so hard! Is this just a busy spell or season? I hope it's temporary. You and DH both work there, right?

I hope today is calmer for you, and a shorter work day. Hump Day!

Better than nothing. So far this week I have gotten both my barre classes in (and trying for another tonight!) but none of my cardio I planned to do. Still better than nothing! I should be able to squeeze the two hours in somewhere by sunday though!

The scale is no fun. Well let me rephrase that, the scale is no fun except for when it is behaving. I was up 5 pounds after my weekend and it wasn't budging until this morning I was suddenly down 6! Hope you have the same luck this morning.

I got in 5 miles today and already 10 minutes hula. Hoping for 10 more this evening. I have to clean house too . UGH!!!!!!!!!

Great job on getting all the exercise in! Good for the mind, good for the body.

JUDDD is going great. It feels comfortable being back. I'm not being super careful with calories on UDs, but I feel like I know around what calorie level I'm eating and it just feels better to be more relaxed about it for now. But to justify that, DDs must be really good!

.8 pound bounce this morning. I am okay with this.

My goal for this week is 192 at WW which is a 1.6 pound loss. I think I have totally go this.

I have done three pure barre workouts this week and have counted calories on my DDs. So I am doing good as far as my goals for the week go. Goal was 2 barre classes and 2 other workouts. I think I can count the extra barre as one of the other workouts. Its a harder workout than what I would have done. So now I just need to get another hour in on Sunday to reach all my goals.


Tomorrow I get Milly back!

My weekend is busy this weekend. DD12 has softball this weekend, but she will miss most of the games. She plays tonight at 9:00 p.m. (WTH???). Tomorrow she was going to be allowed to play up till 3:00. Alas, their schedule has them playing at 2:30, 7:00 and 8:30. Crazy, huh? So instead we will leave town in the morning with DH and DS15 for DH's Dad's house. His DAD turns 80 tomorrow and we are hosting a HUGE party for him. I believe they think 200 people will be there. WE have 100 lbs of pulled pork in our frig thawing. DH has been buying it/cooking it/shredding it since January. We also have twenty 12 packs of pop, 3 cases of wine, 4 liters of whiskey, aboutg 200 buns, 40 bags of chips, 300 plates/napkins/silverware/4 cakes/4 large containers of mixed nuts---- actually, not sure we can all ride up together. It may take 2 vehicles! DH's brother is doing the baked beans and cole slaw. Party starts at 5:00 tomorrow and runs till WHENVER! Rumor is a band is appearing too, for FREE! I think all told the party is running each of us (him and his brother ) $500 each. Not bad for 200 people. Should be fun. We will see people we haven't seen in YEARS!

Sunday is RECOVERY. We will spend the night up there. Probably do lunch with his dad/wife and his brother/his family. It will be nice, but even better to be BEHIND US!


Scale was up another 2 pounds to 179 today. I just about cried. LC isn't doing it for me this time. I am back on JUDDD today. At this rate, I can't afford to wait till after Easter. I am on a DD today, allowing up to 800c. Tomorrow is the party, I will try a good DD on Sunday too. Next week is crazy with Easter, so I will plan on 3 DD's being MWF, then Up day Sa and Sunday (easter) then DD on Monday 04/21.

Do what feels right to you! Good luck on your first DD back. You got this. It can be so frustrating, I know.

That sounds like so much fun! Is this a surprise, or does he know about it? What a bash it sounds like. When you were listing all the stuff you had to bring, I was thinking "How the heck are they going to get all that in their vehicle?" You'll be crammed in, whether you take one or two vehicles!

Oh, that darn scale! Think about it this way. Has the break been good for you mentally? If so, it was worth it. Plus, our bodies adapt to what we do over and over, so a periodic break is not a bad thing, even if we put a few pounds on. I know, I know, no one want to put any on. But it will come back off. Don't put too much pressure on yourself because of this. I'm going through the same thing, as you know. Trying to get some extra back off. But we can do this!

DH's Dad knows about it. WE have been planning this for over a year. DH drives a Ford Expedition, he says, WE CAN ALL FIT with the stuff. Time will tell on that.

You are very smart girl. your words mean a lot to me. It was a good break, I was DONE counting stuff....that is obvious isn't it??? Now I will regroup. I have always and will always struggle on DD's, so today will be more of a MD. I have already had 700c and it is only 4 in the afternoon. Most likely I will eat something tonight since we will be up late! Sunday will be iffy, so not sure what to do, especially if I want to do MWF down days next week! GRRRR If only I was magically THIN!
