Good morning girls! No back rub for me, my back was way too sore. I am feeling much better today.

It's Friday-eve!!!!! WOOHOO! Saturday I have my annual High School girls sleepover. I get together with 4 other girls I was close friends with in High School. We eat/drink/laugh so hard my face will hurt. So I will have 2 UD's in a row. It is worth it. I don't see most of these girls but this one time each year. We always say we will do XX or XX , it just never works out. We try to get together sometime in either January or February each year! I am excited!

I'm glad your back is feeling better! And that sleepover sounds like a blast!

The hula hoop thing? Well, I just stand in front of the TV and watch something - usually a guilty pleasure so I feel like I'm not *just* watching garbage on TV, I'm doing something productive. Head games, ya know? Plus, if I'm really into what I'm watching, the time just flies by. I do have the DVD workout that came with the hoop, but it's pretty lame IMO.

I try and make it more intense by going faster, bending my knees so there's more intensity in my legs, doing punches with my hands or just keeping my arms up high for awhile. I have tried to make it go the other direction, but can't seem to manage it.

Carol inspired me to buy a Hulahoop as well.

I think it was the part about doing in front of the tv that attracted me .

I bought mine at Sportchek. I believe Carol bought hers at Walmart online.

I can hardly do my hulahoop. It is 39 inches across and weighs 3 pounds. I have made 6 revolutions, once, that's it! I cant get over how hard it is. I am looking for a smaller one. So my advice would be to get a smaller one than mine and lighter as well.

Pretty soon we will be having hoop challenges Right girls?

I ordered mine from Amazon. It will be here on Saturday. I got the 3 pound weighted one. I too liked the watching the BOOB TUBE and hula hooping! That's my plan too! OOPS I got the 3 lb one. I will work my way up to longer.

I agree, HOOP CHALLENGE would be great!

What kind of challenge? I am up for it. I worked with the hoop for 15 minutes last night. Once or twice I was able to keep it up for a while! LOL My DD12 laughs at me, I struggle with it, she is GREAT with it though!

You'll get it with the hula hoop. All of a sudden you'll have that moment where your muscles just remember, and then off you go!

I'm not sure what kind of challenge. Maybe so many minutes every day for a month, or 5 days a week, or whatever.

So DH and DS are both semi off JUDDD? That would make it harder to stick with, I'm sure. Hang in there!

I like that Challenge IDEA! Let's do this girl! Last night I did 6 minutes on the hula hoop (not constant, but I am making it longer keeping it up)then DD12 and I did a weight workout. It was one she found on pinterest and it was just using our body weight. WE LOVED IT! We plan to workout together like that MWF's! Hoping we can keep that schedule. I will probably do it on T/Th too, but she has volleyball those days, she doesn't need the extra workouts! LOL

DS is off JUDDD. He is just following a XXXX calories per day plan. I know he is struggling, but he isn't ready to come back. He is mentioning going to Title boxing, but I am reluctant to sign him up, as he tends to NOT follow through with that sort of thing. Time will tell!

Mine was great. Under 500c, which is awesome for me! How was yours Carol?

I did 7 minutes with the hula hoop last night! Tonight I will try for 8 and then do the weight routine with DD12!

I am god-awful at it I can't barely get it to go around several times before I gotta pick it up Haven't practiced in over a week since I've been sick, but I'll get to it next week... my DD kicks my butt with that thing...she can stand there and just talk to me... brat!

Monica - what a fantastic DD you had! Great work!

I think 7 minutes is really great! It took me awhile before I could go that long, and my arms would get so tired. Sounds weird that it was my arms that got tired and not my legs, but true - holding them up out of the way that long was tiring! I bet you'll see your middle tightening up in no time!
