Poor You! Deep Breathes! Sometimes when your not sure how to proceed, it's best to not proceed at all, at least for a bit. Eventually it will become clear.
Hugs!

Hey Monica!!

I can understand work stress--we're in the middle of a buyout, and the lack of communication in my department has been incredibly frustrating, espcially since I have staff asking questions that I don't even know the answer to. I'm hoping that both of our situations will calm down to where we can feel good about things....in all ways.

Your potato concoction sounds really good!

Big hugs to ya!! TGIF!!

Sounds like a really fun weekend! Funny about the Oz theme. I guess the Missourians aren't as sick of it as you Kansans!

So sorry work is stressing you out. Luckily it's Friday and you can forget about it for a couple of days. Or almost forget it anyway. Take care!

Good Morning Monica! I'm so sorry to hear you've been struggling. I'd say take it easy on you. Stress and being physically unwell can really ramp up depression. Also sounds like your hormones are wonky...the number one reason to feel "out of sorts'. I hope you get to feeling like your old self soon!

One day at a time.

You are all amazing! I think winter is getting to me. Work is swamped and we are struggling with our teens! Love teenagers! I will live through this, I know I will!

Feeling a bit better today! Things have smoothed over a bit at home with the teens, that's good. They are all happy, snow day! For Me, it's a DD and a SNOW DAY! They are calling for 9 inches here. I plan to get paperwork from UPS and DH and I head home. Kids' school was called for today at 4:30 yesterday afternoon. BOTH of my KIDS were thrilled!!!! I love snow, but I think I am ready for spring!!!!

Yesterday's Up day was dead on 1915c total! PERFECT!

OH we got a card for a free 8 day/7 night cruise for 2 and 2 round trip airfares. WE have to go to a TImeshare presentation, no obligations.....we decided what the heck??? 90 minutes wasted OR we could have a FREE VACA! WE are not interested in timeshares, so it will be a NO all the way on that. We will see. WE go next week!

Ahhh, teenagers...been there. It can be trying and test your patience. Enjoy them, the things making you crazy now, will make you laugh later down the line. Really. It will.

Hey girl, glad the teens seem to have quieted down for the moment Keep in mind it won't last long I swear, I did not consider the fact that kids would be harder when they were teenagers/young adults vs. when they were toddlers They talk back when they're teenagers and rip me of every last shred of patience I have ever owned sometimes. Like Blonde said though, it will be funny to sit back when they're older and laugh about some of the silly things they tried pulling

9 inches?!? Wow. It seemed like when I was a kid, snow days were few and far between, but you guys have had lots of them this winter. I know you're looking forward to the thaw!

I'm glad teen issues are calming a bit. I know that's got to be rough. Good job on a great UD yesterday, though! That's gotta feel good!

Time will tell! We are strongly AGAINST timeshares. DH's dad/wife bought into one and ended up spending THOUSANDS to get out of it! We will NOT make that mistake! But I can go listen to them for 90 minutes to get a free vaca! Supposedly it is guaranteed, purchase into the plan or not!

You know, I think school districts are much more willing to close down with bad weather these days. I am grateful. Both of my kids ride the bus. With no seat belts and the other crazy drivers out there that don't give a CHIT about buses, I am glad they are safe INSIDE at home! KWIM?

The teenage years are tough. My mantra: "It's just a phase. It's just a phase." Repeat 10,417 times.

But once they are through it, they are such a joy. Suddenly, they have become people with conversations and experiences that they are happy to share with you.

My mother-in-law had a time share which they enjoyed for thirty years. Then sold it to her eldest daughter. Great family vacations there every year. So, sometimes it does work out well.

I am sure it does work for some. Me, I like to travel on the fly. I don't want to check if XX is available or XX. Either way, if we get a free cruise, it's worth a listen!

I will keep repeating that phrase! THANKS

We got 12 inches of snow here last night. That is a LOT for us! Tomorrow our temps are supposed to be -20* actual temp here in the morning. No clue what that is metric temp-wise! My darn dog, the 4 pound one, won't poop in the snow. I cleared her a path with the shovel and everything. I also helped DH with the driveway and we did a small section of the street to get us to the path. My back is now hurting. I will probably go to the Chiro on my way home tonight.

174.4 this morning! I may get into the 160's by March, HOPEFULLY!

Oh lisa you just gave me a good laugh. Hi Monica, I fully understand what you are going thru with the snow. I am about to scream here in Ohio. We are off again today. I am so thankful that the storm wanted for us to get the kids home yesterday. I was just grabbing food all day worrying that the ice was going to hit when they said. Thank God I grabbed the food for nothing. I ran home and it hit 2 hours latter. I am guessing 5 to 6. I have not heard a weather report yet.

Take the trip and have fun. My last hubby had us do that every time those people called. They were just trips to Gatlinburg Tenn. for weekends but we loved every trip. Enjoy your self. You deserve it. Love Ya.
