Wine's a tough one for me too. Grrr. Should never have learned how to make my own!

Ha! I've been known to go back and dig Doritos out of the trash. Sheesh I am a Doritos addict and need a 12-step group. Whooo ha!

Woohoo! Just imagine being in maintenance and not dieting (or not dieting and feeling ever so slightly guilty) over Christmas - maybe that would help?

You only have 10 more pounds to go! Skweee!! You can kick those suckers to the curb by Oct. 31, I know you can. Then what the heck, shoot for 170 by Dec. 15 and give yourself some slack to play with and a good excuse for a maintenance break.

Today is my birthday I got the best gift I could ever ask for today!!! My DS14 and DD11 gave me numerous group hugs. They each told me they loved me and my DS14 (who never is mushy) hugged me and kissed me on the cheek, stating again how much he loved me! OMG!!!!! BEST GIFT EVA!!!!!!!!

I am not where I wanted to be weight wise. I am not far, but I need to continue to reign in my focus! I agree Jacque, If I could get to 164 by 10/31 and even 160 by 12/15, I would be THRILLED!

Happy Birthday Monica! Your birthday falls on the day of the first New Moon of September and that is a very good sign. From an astrology perspective, that means that anything you start now will be hugely successful. It also means that you will be very much in demand from both a professional and personal perspective. If your birthday falls on a New Moon, it means that anything you touch will turn to gold over the next 12 months. Enjoy your special day fellow Virgo!

It's FRIDAY everyone! Thank you so much for the birthday wishes. Lunch was high calorie, but dinner was low. We had mainly veggies and grilled shirmp! I think overall, great UP DAY! Now to ROCK this DD! Friday DD's are always so dang hard for me. The celebratory nature of it just being Friday is hard to combat! I WILL TODAY!

With my Birthday money, I bought off amazon the 1st season of Homeland. Anyone watch that? It was 1/2 off Tuesday! So I got it for $19.99! Tonight I plan to watch that and CLEAN house! I know, slow down on the FUN Friday night stuff!

Tomorrow we are heading back to my parents house. My Dad's 50 year high school reunion stuff is this weekend. In little Cole Camp MO, they are having their annual Fair and his class replicated their float from Senior year of high school. So he is in the parade and we are all going to cheer him on!!!!!!!! My dad is STOKED! They have worked their A$$ off making the float!

Glad your birthday went well ! I haven't seen Homeland, but it's on the list of things I want to see. I love Damian Lewis as an actor - him in the Forsyte Saga series (well, his character was kind of bad, but it was great acting). I watched it all on youtube.

Have a wonderful weekend with your parents and the float!!!

Our weekend was great here. Friday night DH and I watched 4 episodes of Homeland, TOTALLY HOOKED! Friday night was also DD11's first middle school dance! She loved it! Saturday we were at my parents house. Saturday night was the fair/parade. When Dad and his crew of 1963 graduates passed up, we cheered SUPER Loud. My Dad was so freaking proud, pointing to us all BEAMING! Sunday was Softball practice for DD11 and hours of homework for DS14, DH and I watched 3 more episodes of Homeland! I also washed all bedding and blankets. OH, didn't do the cleaning....maybe tonight???

Gail - the fair was fun, but the parade was awesome. I also got to see family I haven't seen in years. Funny story, I went to have my DD11 say hello to my Uncle Johnny (my Dad's younger brother). I said, DD11, you rememeber Uncle John. She was like, NO. I said, you know Papa's Brother...she said, PAPA has a brother??? Leave it to children to say what's they are thinking. It is true, she didn't remember seeing him. He tends to keep to himself, HIS LOSS!

Joni - thanks for stopping by!
