My up day went very well yesterday. 1933c total. Right in line with what I need! Hoping today's DD goes perfectly. My plan is good, we will see how I feel! I even had pasta (rice pasta) last night...haven't had that in a long long time!

Today's Down Day is going much better than Tuesday! I believe the gluten is finally out of my system and I am back to normal! It's 1:15 p.m. and I have had 340c and am feeling good. Dinner will be roasted cauli and probably some kind of protein. Aiming for 500c!

Glad to see things are easier again. This looks way too tough for me though. Great discipline Zipp.

RD, it actually gets easier with time. The DD's aren't so tough but then the UD become difficult to eat all the calories. Crazy notion I know! You have done so well on LC, I can't imagine why you would switch!

My DD went much better yesterday. I got in right at 600c. I felt so much better than I did on Tuesday, amazing what gluten does to me! Today will be great. We are having friends over tonight and we are having ribs, salad and WINE!

my boss made a comment yesterday. My boss is all MALE and never notices anything. Yesterday he was walking through my office and said "looks like you are losing weight. How much have you lost?" That is nice that he said anything. Made me feel really good!

My DD on Saturday ended right at 600c. Not bad! my range goal for DD's is 500-700c.

Yesterday was a celebration at our house with family and friends. My calories were closer to 2200c++. My range for UD's is 1900-2200 so yesterday was definitely on the upper side of that. Today we will see how the dd goes. My current thoughts for what I will eat will end me right at 478c. Today I added weights into my exercise routine. I will get in 5 miles walking and I did the 24 minute shred DVD by Jillian Michels!

Yesterday was tough. I was at the ball fields from 5:45 - 10:30. I was smart, I left our snack bag at home!!!!! I drank 2 coke zeros instead.

Today is an Up day. I took measurements and left the paper at home! DARN! But I am down in all areas. Thursday I plan to weigh...if I don't forget!

I am sore from my Jillian shred dvd yesterday. Feels good to get the muscles going again!

Yesterday's up day was good. I enjoyed a splurge of ice cream last night. It was really good. So makes the DD's with JUDDD worth it. Love this WOE! So far, DD is going well. I have had 130c and feel good. Hoping to hold that form through noon when lunch time is. I will get in 5 miles and did the Jillian DVD again this morning.

Yesterday was a good DD. I think I ended right at 600c. Even being a DD, I did the Jillian DVD and got in 6 miles and my 3 miles this a.m. was not shakey!

Goal for today is 1950 calories. So far, 274c down!

Today was weigh in day, I am down 2.2 pounds in 2 weeks. Wish it had been more, but I only have about 10 ish pounds to go. In 7 weeks I have lost 11.6 pounds and in those same 7 weeks my DH has lost 24.8 pounds on JUDDD. We are obviously doing well. I keep telling myself he had more to lose, so he should be losing more quickly. It is what it is! I am still proud of my little 11.6 pounds!

11.6 lbs when you are this close to goal is hardly little. You are doing so well. Good for you!

Thanks RD! I appreciate that! It's hard to keep all that in mind.

Yesterday's UD was perfect. Dead on perfect. I even enjoyed 2 glasses of wine. DD today and I am trying to spread the calories out better. On Wednesday I got so hungry I couldn't concentrate. That's not good. I started with a 2 eggs/cheese breakfast 162c. Large lettuce salad for lunch...then veggies for dinner. That's my plan! Goal is 500c dead on today!

GRRR I had this long post written and now it's gone!

Friday's DD ended right about 550c, which is perfect. Saturday was on the softball fields all day and best estimate I got in right at 1950 calories. That is perfect. It may have been a little over that, I entered all of my food just this morning. Yesterday's DD was in the car and it went well. Calories were right at 550c and considering I ate out at lunch, that is awesome. I never ever eat out on a DD! It could not be avoided.

Today is an Up day and I love MWF Up day weeks!

Yesterday's UD was spot on! I think it was 1955 calories! I enjoyed a glass of wine and some popcorn after dinner last night. Love that.

With today's DD I am trying something new, I had cottage cheese for breakfast. Really get a lot of the calories. 1/2 cup is only 40c! We will see how it goes. I ate that at 8:40 a.m. hoping to hold off on anything further till lunch at 1:00!

Let me know if that works for you. I'm still eating an egg every am, reguardless if it is a UP or DD. I don't like cottage cheese, but if it works for you maybe I could try yogurt. Greek of course.

Anna- the cottage cheese worked great for me. I ate the 1/2 cup around 8:40 a.m. and I was fine till lunch. I think I ate lunch at 12:45. It worked perfectly. I buy the low fat stuff but I think when I head to the store tomorrow I will get one that has a little more fat. It is only 5 calories difference but I am thinking the thicker texture eating it alone would be nice. I don't see why you could do greek yogurt. Heck most have as much protein as 2 eggs have! Try it!

Yesterday's DD ended right at 600c. I am not doing the best at getting that down to 500c. Maybe Thursday I can get it done. Today is an up day! YEAH! I had my normal for breakfast and lunch is 1/2 cup pasta salad and 2 cups of poppy seed/broc slaw/chicken salad. Tonight PIZZA!

Yesterday's Up day was good. We had pizza last night and I counted everything best I could. I think I went over calories by about 50, so not bad at all. It had been a long time since DH and I had pizza (the kids have it all the time). Need to go grocery shopping tonight. I also plan to get some fresh peaches and tomatoes (not from the grocery store). I think tomorrow for the Up day we will go out to lunch as a family when my DD comes home from church camp. I am thinking Longhorn since that is her favorite place!

Have I mentioned, I love the flexibility of JUDDD! PLan it and you can have it...basically every other day!

SO this morning I tried my cottage cheese with a few strawberries and a touch of splenda. I have ALWAYS ALWAYS said sweet cottage cheese would be grose! MAN was I wrong. I think I have found my NEW go to DD breakfast! Yummy and filling. I will watch my bloodsugar, but the carbs in that shouldn't be enough to cause me issues! It was a nice treat!

Up day here. MY DD was right at 560c. Not bad at all. This morning I woke and just felt smaller, so since I was disappointed with my .6 loss weigh in WEdnesday, I hopped on the scale to see another 1.4 pounds gone. I will take the 2 pound loss for the week! Next weigh in will be Thursday. Weight today was 173.8!!! I know my original goal is 164, but I would be thrilled if I could lose another 5 after that to get into the 150's

LOL we're never satisfied, are we? I did the same thing when I hit my goal of 155, I changed it to 150. Well, congrats on your success, it's well deserved!

RD, we are NEVER happy are we??? My DH's original goal was 205 and then he said, well maybe 199, just over the weekend he said he was going to shoot for 195. I think we are just a mess!

Dee thank you so much! It is a struggle and knowing others struggle too does help!

Meg - glad to see you checking in. So sorry work has been so crazy for you. How's the WW's plan going? I know you derailed, but it sounded like you got right back on! Way to go!

Well we had a wonderful weekend here. Friday was an UD. I was hoping my daughter would want to go to Longhorn for lunch (she arrived home from church camp), but she chose mexican! Mexican is a WEAKNESS of mine. I love it all. Chips, rice, cheese...you name it. OH can't forget the guac either! I ordered just 2 small chicken tacos for lunch. It was higher than I normally eat, but not horrible. BEFORE I would have ordered a FULL MEAL AND had all the chips and cheese. I ate very light for dinner so It was a successful up day.

Saturday was spent on the ball fields almost all day long. I had my Cottage cheese and strawberries (while I was surrounded with chips, cookies and such). I did have a few bits of summer sausage later in the day as I was very hungry. THen when we got home, I had another round of cottage cheese and strawberries and then some peaches. Those are the ONLY fruits I like and right now they are perfect eating! I think my total calories were right at 560c. So really good. DH and I didn't have 1 peanut at the ball fields. WOW~ Just this time last year we could polish off a full bag NO PROBLEM!

Yesterday was an Up day and it was good as well. WE were outside a lot and I think the heat takes the appetite away. I did go over, as we grilled steak and such for dinner and I wanted some wine. I think ending calories were 2150 (or so) so not bad at all!

Happy Father's day to all. Sorry I am checking in a day late!

OK so today has been a struggle. Breafast was my new found DD go to and lunch was my typical salad. I think my bloodsugar is a bit messed up from the heat/dehydration from yesterday. I have eaten 557c already and it is only 2:00 p.m. Depending on how I feel tonight, I may just choose to skip dinner, if I am really hungry, I will eat dinner and finish off today more at Maintenance level dd. 832c Even if I eat dinner, not a huge issue calorie-wise. WE have 2 softball games tonight and it will be late. I think I will need dinner to not LOSE my mind at the games and eat stuff I really shouldn't!

Silly for me to think I could skip dinner. I ate 925c total for the day. Chalk it up as a maintenance day! I did manage to eat NOTHING at the ball fields and we were there for 4 hours! I consider that a WIN!

Today is an up day. Feels good! I am keeping my day calories to 950 so I have a full 1000 calories for dinner and ice cream. We are taking the kids out for dinner and then downtown for ice cream! It's the BEST ice cream ever! I plan to have 2 scoops!

Thus far today I am simply not very hungry! I had minimal but still have plenty for tonight. I plan to just eat what I want and then move on to my DD tomorrow. I wish NOT being hungry could happen more often on a DD instead of an UD!
