Danielle - SUMMER is my least favorite season. Last summer it got to like 105* without the heat index and we were out at the softball fields all day! I don't know how the girls did it. I know I was literally melting in the STANDS!

Yesterday's DD was a bit higher, 900c. I was just starved all day and had major issues at work. When I get that hungry I can't concentrate. SO, I ate a little more! It seems so strange to say 900c was HIGH! OH the life of JUDDD!

tomorrow we have 3 softball games and then the BOn Jovi concert. Originally it was just me, T, sister and bil going. Then I won 4 more tickets....so we are all going now!

Danielle - where will you all head when you decide to leave AZ???

Weekend was good. Friday's UD calories were around 1900-2000. Saturday's DD calories were around 900c which with the concert I thought was great. Yesterday wasn't so great. I think I was around 2200c. I just kept nibbling and nibbling! STUPID> That's what happens when I am home virtually alone for several hours!

T is doing well on JUDDD. He is down 5 pounds thus far and super motivated.

Yesterday I forgot I had BUNCO last night. I only nibbled on strawberries and a few bites of popcorn. I didn't even TOUCH the M&M's and Resee's pieces...both of which are like CRACK to me! We made several servings of Low Calorie crack slaw. It makes for a good warm quick evening meal. Then we made up dinner already for tonight. Having T on board is getting us all super focused. It won't hurt Haven to watch what she eats too. She has NO weight issue, but learning to eat right is key no matter what!

Wonderful that T is doing so well! Does he know he's got a bunch of "old ladies" rooting for him? Probably better that he doesn't!

LCG - no he doesn't! I know he is partially embarrassed to be on a "diet"! So us OLD LADIES can keep him on here. Once he gets where he wants to be I might share with him! How are you doing girl??? I see you are adding movement whenever you can. I think that is GREAT!

Doing good! And yes, I'm trying to move more. It'll take awhile to become habit but I'll get there. This morning I've been pretty successful and even walked in place for 5 minutes two different times.

I'm occasionally uneasy as to the etiquette of asking after people's children but it feels mean spirited not to comment when a child is obviously doing well, applying themselves and achieving their milestones.

Best wishes for your continued progress and for T's.

SLow, I agree with you. At home, T openly discusses it. So when he wants to talk, we all talk. I tell him how proud I am of his efforts daily. He and I talk numbers, options and what is tough. He is doing 2000c/1000c and he won't go even 1 calorie over! If he continues this....results will happen. Plus he has asked me to have my friend/trainer make him up a couple workout routines to do! Can't hurt to do that either!

Yesterday calories were a bit over for me but not bad. Hoping for a good DD today. Although I woke up with my tummy growling!

I coulda sworn I wrote in your journal yesterday...but I lose track if it's here or in the thread .....old lady is right!!!

It's lovely when we see our kids doing well in something they set out to do. I can only imagine how much better DS will feel when he's reached his goal in this. Like everything else he's tackled, he will work this til he reaches the finish line!!

1 year on JUDDD for me today! I love JUDDD and am so grateful for finding it. It's and UD so that is great. DS14 is still doing well. I think he is weighing everyday and I have suggest he maybe just weigh once a week and after a DD. Not sure what he will do. DH originally lost 40 pounds quickly. I think he is up 6 or 7 from there and seems pleased with his weight.

Thanks D!!!!!!!!!!

Had a good day yesterday foodwise. My neck/back is cauging me massive issues. I was at the chiropractor twice yesterday and I plan to go at noon today and possibly after work again if he isn't able to adjust much. Not sure what I did yesterday morning, but the pain yesterday was unbearable. Today I seem to be functioning a bit better! WHEW!!!! Weekend is full of softball. Now if Spring weather would just show up. They are saying tomorrow 63*, I hope that is on the low side.

Huge sympathy/empathy for that. I hope that the commute back and forth to the softball hasn't been horrendous for you.

Arriella - thanks for the kind words. JOURNEY is indeed the best way to describe it.

Slow - Thankfully 3 visits to the Chiropractor have gotten things a lot closer to normal. I plan to go back again after work today. I am feeling MUCH better.

Lisa - Great to see you girl!

Had a great weekend. Softball, the movies as a family, BBQ Ribs Saturday night, a cocktail or two, throw in some laundry and food prep and that sums it up.

Today is DH's birthday. It will be a food day indeed. Ordering in Lunch, Party for dinner.....should be fun for all. Hopefully especially for HIM! We are all excited about it.

T weighed in again today and he is down 9 pounds in less than 2 weeks. Can't do better than that. I told him how great he is doing and that I am very proud of his efforts. He is eating a smaller UD lunch to save calories for tonight. There will be TONS of food at the party!

Hope everyone had a GREAT weekend! Weather was super cold Saturday, warm yesterday, decent today and 30's and rain/possible snow for tomorrow. REALLY?????

Lots going on for your family.

I'm pleased that your weekend went well. Our canoe trip was hugely enjoyable. It's almost unbelievable how much the trees have come on in a week - and we saw lots of wild fowl on the water.

Congratulations to T - even if he doesn't know that a group of strangers is rooting for him. Such self-discipline bodes well for his studies and future.

I trust that you'll all have a super celebration for your DH's birthday.
