Good morning Monica! Doesn't look like spring will get here anytime soon....we've got a couple more inches this morning--we've had 20 inches of snow since March 1. I'd say that's just about enough!

Yeah, we're getting ready for summer over here.. we just do cool and hot around these parts Although right now I cannot complain, the windows are open and there is amazing breeze.. by 3pm however it'll be roasting in here no doubt.

Lisa - they are calling for more snow here this week too! Last Friday was 85* record high. This Friday, they way we will have several inches of snow on the ground. REALLY??? Crazy weather!

D - I can't imagine hot weather all the time. I do NOT cope well with heat. Summer, my least favorite season. I can always put on more clothes...there are only so many I can take off!

yesterday was a good DD. I ate right at 675c and had BUNCO last night and didn't eat a thing! HUGE for me! It's Tuesday, things are looking one day better than a MONDAY!

my up day went well. It didn't go at all like I had planned, but I didn't let that mess me up too badly. Had dinner plans that got cancelled....BUMMER! Then the soup I brought in for myself DH accidentally ate instead of his....and his was not GF! I didn't it spiral me out of control. It's the little things, right???

Today's DD started out horribly STARVED! I ate 90c of stir fry / egg to get the grumbles in control. Hoping to keep it under 600c today. I am od'ing on about all my go to low calorie items. Might need some suggestions. I still will eat mushrooms and brocc (for the moment). I am about done with chick peas, snap peas and cottage cheese......I need to figure out more variety!

Tomorrow I am weighing in and I will report back here. DH mentioned he is up 10 pounds so I am FEARFUL of what I am. Hoping I am still hovering around 172! SAD, just a few posts ago, I was horrified by the 172, now I am hoping for it! I am a MESS!

I bet your weigh-in will have good results!! You're so good with your choices in what you are eating, and that is something that I'm always struggling with. Sometimes I just want to go through McD's drive thru, ya know? I haven't caved on that yet, but I do make some poor choices in other ways....thankfully, I'm learning to be mindful of calories and serving size.

What do you think of shirataki/Miracle Noodles? I find it's a good filler, for 0 calories...and I actually enjoy the rubberband-like texture.

My DD was almost perfect yesterday! I came in right under 500c! That is GREAT for me. I weighed this morning. I am up to 173. Not near as bad as I feared, but still, NOT GOOD! I need to set some new goals!

I can't tolerate the noodles, but I will eat the miracle rice. That said, I haven't had that for ages either. I never found that it added that much bulk to anything I put it with really. Try it and let me know what you think.

I think I'll place an order for the rice and try it--the noodles I really like, as long as I pair it with some good flavored meat and veggies!

173 is not bad at all, chickie!

Thanks guys....I hope you are right. Lately I have seemd to lose focus easily. This weekend will be a challenge. Tomorrow night we head to Tulsa. It's a DD, so that's good...as long as I don't Drink/Snack once I get there. Saturday, up day well timed! Sunday, we are traveling back home...hoping I can rock a good DD enroute!

It's FRIDAY! I am so happy the weekend is here. Traveling to Tulsa to spend the weekend with my BFF! We plan to mainly hang out at the hotel. I am hoping to keep my DD calories to 245c and when I get there, having a glass or 2 of wine. HEY, I have my priorities, right???? Goal will be to merely drink some wine and NOT snack with it!!!!!!! Tomorrow is an up day and I plan to be conservative but I won't be counting anything!

The weekend was great. Nice time with friends. My DD Friday was perfect...with WINE! Saturday was within reason, Sunday's DD was a bit high. Moving on from that! Today's UD will be nice and controlled. Monday and it's only a 4 day week for me. WE are off Friday as I head Grandparents day at my daughters school.

Yesterday was a nice controled Up Day! SOmetimes I have trouble with that. Today is so far, a great DD. Not too much hunger and it is already 1:30 and I have only had 180c! Goal is under 500! So that leaves me 320 for DINNER! EAT UP girl! I laugh because before JUDDD I would have never guessed 500c days even a possibility! I love when a DD goes well. I know it's early, hoping this one continues on the EASY path!

OH it is never easy for me, but yet, yesterday was. I finished up at 450c, probably one of my best DD's on record! Hoping for a nice loss when I weigh in on Friday!

Started a new challenge and goal is to be down to 169 by 06/21! Certainly I can do that, right??? Time will tell. This weekend will be tough, so I'll start with this weekend.

Good for you on the 450C's! That challenge seems like a good deal to me! I need to find something to challenge me more, I think. Weight loss is minimal, but my clothes fit pretty loosely--I don't think I'm gaining muscle, so not sure why the scale isn't showing anything.

My blood sugar tanked HORRIBLY this a.m. While walking with Dennis, it hit rock bottom. It hasn't done this in a long long time. I was sampling a dessert last night to see if it would work for the weekend...I guess I had too much. Not sure. So this DD may be a little on the higher side. I had a protein granola bar at 6:00 a.m. to get things up and was still shakey so I have already had my stirfry egg breakfast. Goal is still under 500c! We will just have to see. Hoping for the best!
