Way to go Izzy, I commented on the rest on your page!

Yesterday was a nice controlled up day! So far, today's DD is going well! I hope it stays that way. It was raining this morning and still is, so no walking for me today. Sometimes that helps the DD stay better. Maybe the exercise messes with my bloodsugar some days!?! Who knows!

Tomorrow night, we are eating Guac and drinking WINE! I am excited ! It love planning special meals for my Up Days, makes the DD way more tolerable.

Saturday, a classmate is working the wrestling tournament at a local high school. She'll attend to minor injuries. I couldn't attend the basketball tournaments during the holidays because I was working in the afternoons, but I'm hoping to get experience at the two high schools now that I have more free time. woohoo

Weekend went well. Friday's Up day stayed pretty well in line. Saturday had a good down day. Yesterday's up day I struggled to eat enough calories (VERY VERY ODD FOR ME). Today, I wish I felt pushed to get in calories! So far so good though!

I got a new weight training routine from my trainer, hoping to start some of them this week! This will be in addition to my 5 miles a day walking (5 days a week).

Sleep wasn't for me, again last night. Insomnia stinks, especially when it rarely happens to me! Tonight will be better, I KNOW IT!

I think my friend, the trainer, plans to come to my work tomorrow to work out with me on a couple of the workouts. I asked her for five 15 minute workouts. Short, but effective is what I said.

Yesterday's DD was perfect. It was a frustrating day and I wasn't home enough to eat! 540c for me!

I just saw your vacation pictures Monica, and your family is beautiful! You all look so happy and you look fantastic!

So, how long does it take you to walk 5 miles each day? Several years ago when I was walking regularly I could do 4 in an hour. I always wanted to build up more speed, but my shorty short legs don't want to go much faster than that. I might be able to do one mile in an hour right now!

I postponed my workout session with my trainer/friend. Slept like crap again last night. My headache is screaming at me! Tonight, I better sleep like a WALRUS in the afternoon SUN! If not, I will call my DR tomorrow and will ask for help!

yesterday's up day was low. Probably why I am starving today.

D- any movement is a step (no pun intended) in the right direction.

Locar, thank you so much. It's hard NOT to be extremely happy on a cruise. Even my 14 year old who has a HORRIBLE life (don't believe me, just ask him)

I walk 3.2 miles in the a.m., I think it takes DH and I 40 minutes. Then I walk another 2 miles on my lunch hour with my coworker. I think it takes her and I 30 or so minutes. It's good to get outside during the day and we talk the entire time!

Week from HELL and I got on the scale. Let's just say, it wasn't pretty! Onward I plod! Yesterday's DD was great. Today having a controled up day!

I need to learn stress management and when to say NO!

I hear ya girl! Happy FRIDAY everyone! TGIF indeed!

Yesterday was a rough day. I felt some horrible Mommy guilt, the scale weighed heavy on my mind AND I am having some shoulder issues. Doesn't this kind of stuff tend to always hit at once? Well today, Haven is starting to feel better. I slept 8+ hours last night and I WILL go to the chiropractor tonight to work on my shoulder. Things are looking up and it's almost the weekend. I SURVIVIED!

Yesterday's up day was very well managed. Hoping for a GREAT DD today, Friday DD's tend to be rough for me, so I am going at this fully prepared!

Nice relaxing weekend. Friday night was low key at home. We did our grocery shopping and prepped stuff for Volleyball Saturday. Saturday was nice, we were only at volleyball through 2:30, so that was nice. Then relaxed Saturday evening. SUnday was SS and Church, then just relaxed, did laundry and prepped food for tonight's BUNCO group at my house. Hurt by back somehow so tried to rest it best I could over the weekend! Food calories were in check! Friday's DD was actually really well done. Friday DD's are really tough for me. Yesterday's DD was perfect. I love that! Today I am eating light through out the day so I can enjoy whatever tonight at BUNCO!

Hi Monica! I've been a bad girl....not checking in and reading up on all the good stuff to keep me motivated. How's the back doing? I've had a slight issue with mine (more like internal soreness BY the spine, not necessarily in my back) since I had the flu a few weeks ago--Joe told me I may have had pneumonia and of course, since I didn't get it treated, it's done something to my innards. I doubt it, but as long as I can keep working with no major problems, I'm not going to complain....lol

Hope you have a great day! It's a 'pulled-pork-sandwich-for-lunch and pizza-for-dinner' Up day for me!

Lisa, sounds like your UD yesterday was full of YUMMY! Get back on track girl, I know you can!

Yesterday I worked over 12 hours. My back is a bit better, I am trying to be extra careful with it. Haven is slowly on the mend! I think, at my house, we are so DONE with January! Hate the month anyway, so let's MOVE ON!

Yesterday's DD was great. I think it was right at 650c! Today will be a totally IN CHECK up day!

Yesterday's up day went well. I saved most of my calories for the evening. I had Pizza and Wine and cookies! What a combo, huh???

Thus far today's DD has been full of hunger. My trainer is meeting me here at noon to workout. I already ate 2 boiled eggs. I will probably have my cottage cheese before working out and go from there. We weren't able to walk this morning as it was COLD! Windy, and windchill in the negatives! We went probably 3/4 mile and looped back home. I crawled in bed, got cozzy and fell back to sleep!

It's FRIDAY -EVE!!!!!!!!!!!

Danielle - for me, it's just so cold. The holiday's are done. There's really nothing fun in January to look forward to. It's just a LONG COLD MONTH! But today is the 25th. It's almost over!!!!!!! Yeah!

Yesterday ended up a mid-day. Really no excuse except, I was HUNGRY! Plain and simple. Tomorrow I will try harder to make it a good DD! Will be tough as my parents will be here all weekend. I will make it work!

OH I met with my trainer yesterday! I AM SORE!!!!!!!!!!!! I can barely walk up steps or SIT DOWN!!!!! Way too many lunges!
