Had a majorly stressful afternoon/evening yesterday. My daughter was threatened at school toward the end of the day yesterday. A boy threatened to cut her with scissors and even had them in his hands. I got everyone I could think of involved. Principal should be calling me soon with how things were handled. There was a sub in the classroon and I think, prior to me calling, she had no intentions of filing a report.

I did not sue this stress as a reason to eat. That is huge for me! I finished my DD around 750c! Since I am allowing myself 800-1000c right now, that was really good!

Weight was the same as signature shows. 166.8 today. Well, it's not up, I guess that's good!

OMG! You're poor daughter!! What is the matter with kids today! And what is the freakin-matter with that sub!!!! Good for you for making those people answer you and handle the situation. I hope something is done, that is unacceptable.

Yikes! You were so good to get as many school officials involved as possible. I hope that boy understands what he did has consequences attached to it, and that your school officials don't chalk it up as "boys will be boys".....

The school did take it seriously, once we got their attention. The boy got in-school suspension and the SUB was told she handled thing incorrectly. We met with the principal at Noon and I think we all agree, it was a big deal and that it has been handled. I am thankful Haven is now at home and won't be back at school till Monday!

Child is kept away from all others and studies all day. I think this kid had to sit with the Principal all day.

We are on the road to my Mom's. Dd turned into a MD!!! Such is life.

Well survived the Thanksgiving weekend and a much needed DD is today!

Feeling a bit under the weather, hoping it stays just as a sore throat and doesn't get much worse. I will survive! Hope I keep my germs to myself. No need for anyone else to get it in the family!

If yesterday was as bad as this cold gets, I am considering myself lucky! Today it has moved from my chest/throat to my head. Still, very managable!

Had a great DD, I think it was right at 670c! I already fueled up with a big breakfast! YUM! ham/eggs/toast! Chef salad for lunch and then Steak for dinner!

I had over-medium eggs on buttered toast today.....SO good! Glad you're managing ok with your bug, and feeding it well today. (What is that old adage..."Feed a cold, starve a fever"...or is it the other way around?? haha

My cold is still lingering and it is starting to get ANNOYING!!!!!! My head is pounding. Took a bunch of meds hoping to feel a change soon!

Did anyone see the PINS that JCPenny was giving out for Thanksgiving? Well my Dad, Dennis and T went there last Friday. We got 6 pins. With those 6 pins we won 3 $10 certificates and 2 $5 certificates. Last night Haven and I went to JCPenny to buy gifts for one of the family memebers that our church has adopted. We chose the 3 year old girl. Because of this $40 I had , I got her 2 pairs of pants, 3 shirts, a little princess plastic wagon, princess lego type blocks and a dora toy guitar that makes noise and lights up. I got ALL of that stuff for $12! Now, I had to go to multiple registers and check out 5 different times, but no one there seemed to mind! PLUS I got 12 more pins! I felt empowered and I feel great that this little girl will have a BUNCH of gifts to open up for Christmas . Then we went to Kohls and I finished up the gift from Haven for Dennis! Once Haven and I got home, we wrapped it all and Dennis will take the gifts for the girl to Church tonight!

SO far of the pins we got from JCPenny last night, we have only won $15. I have 4 more pins to enter my codes for and will do that later today!

At Kohls I used my $30 Kohls cash and got 4 more drink glasses (really heavy Bobby Flay nice ones that Dennis wanted) and a travel coffee type mug all for $9! The glasses were $8.16 a piece. I bought 4 last Friday and knew I could use my Kohl's cash to buy the remaining 4 I needed PLUS I had a 20% off coupon!

I felt like a bargain shopping QUEEN! Haven and I had so much fun! I love times like that! Don't you guys. Haven kept bragging to Dennis how well we did at JCPenny. She was my "partner in crime"! She would hold our purchases while I walk up to yet another register! As if JCPenny cares!

Feeling a little better today. Hoping to kick this cold to the curb by tomorrow. It's an up day and I am THANKFUL! I already had 2 eggs, ham and toast! YUM~

We meet at my dad's for christmas. It's always been stressful with my 3 brothers bickering at each other, and one in particular at me last year. Guess the holidays bring out the worst and the best in people!

It's FRIDAY!!! I am so thankful. I have gone to bed before 9:00 all this week. I think I am finally feeling better. I still have a headache, but my nose seems clear and I seem to be over the hump! YEAH! Tonight we are cleaning house and prepping food. Tomorrow we are heading to my sister's house (she lives 2 hours away). She is throwing a 40th birthday bash for herself. We are taking guac, 7 layer dip, chips, sausage, cheese and crackers. We also made "redneck wine glasses" to give to everyone that attends. They are really cute. Dennis and Haven made Puppy Chow to fill the glasses.

We will come home Sunday and I am hosting the youth groups Christmas party. I think we are having manwich and BBQ Chicken sliders, various chips/dips and cheese ball. I also have M&M's and other Christmas candies. We will make Christmas cards for the troops and have a white elephant gift exchange. It should be a lot of fun!

Then I will need the week to REST from my busy (but FUN) weekend!

For December I am going to follow M-W-F DD's and allow weekends to be up days. Too much going on each weekend, again, goal is to maintain till the new year!

Weekend was GOOD! I just didn't get enough sleep. Weather is CRAZY and I think it is not helping at all with my sinus/congestion/head thing! Oh well. Moving forward!

Good morning ladies. I made it through my DD yesterday but MAN did I struggle. I kept it around 700c so I will call that good. So ready for today being an up day! I started reading a new book series last night. I am hoping I really love it! It's called the Uglies. I think there are 4 in the series. Uglies, Pretties, Specials and Extras are the 4 books. So far, I am loving it. It was compared to Hunger Games....and I know I certainly loved that series. I also read Divergent and Insurgent (another series compared to Hunger Games). So I went up to bed at 7:40 and read till around 8:30 then I went to sleep. Good answer for a tough DD!

Haven had asked a bunch of questions about the cruise, so I called Carnival yesterday and asked what would be different about a cruise that had Christmas in the middle of it. Here is what they said:

- there will be oversized Christmas trees, wreaths,
lights, mistletoe, fake fireplaces, large comfy sofas and other tons of lavish traditional decorations.
- each stateroom will have seasonal music available.
- The kids in Camp Carnival (kids club) will make ornaments and decorate the Christmas trees.
- a visit from Santa
- guests and staff strolling around the ship singing Christmas carols.
- popular Christmas movies shown in the staterooms.
- Holiday menus for dinner (turkey, pie)
- and if you want to go to church that day, a clergyman may be available on board, or you can ask the front desk for local churches in the area that you can attend.
