|
Back up to almost 150 again (149.6), and pants are not looser
I usually lose the most in the first couple of weeks of being strict, but it's not working now. Not sure what I want to try? |

Have a lot on my mind- feeling really insecure about my life and my role as a mother and wife. I dunno what's up? Hopefully it will pass.
2 weeks of induction netted no fat loss. I am going to try a low(er) fat low carb for two weeks and see how that works. Did well today, so far not hungry. |

Wow just spent some time reading back through this journal. I have quite a pattern going here. I was in the 130's in August and it's been downhill since. There does appear to be a hormonal aspect- every month or so I get really down and scary depressed! I don't get a period, so I sometimes forget that mood/eating changes could be triggered by hormones changes.
I debate about whether this journal helps me or makes me feel bad about myself, but like what I discovered today. |

Jeanie- I know that my binges are hormonal for sure. I am glad that you went back to read your journal you see the pattern there. It is really helps to justify the depression and binges. The question is what to do about it. I am trying to figure it out myself. But at least we know that it is hormones and we know when to expect things to go out of hand.
Susan-sorry to hear that you lost control I had 1 day last week when I went ballistic with calories (Thanks PMS) but after 2 days weight came down. I thank JUDD for it. One or two down days takes care of the damage. NEVER GIVE UP!!! |

Oh Susan, I know it's so hard to work so hard to lose, and then it comes back on SO FAST ! But, you know it's water weight and it will drop off easily......... do what you have to do, then pound that water ! You can do this !

Today:
Calories- 1090 Fat-45% Protein- 48% Carbs- 7% So far this is working better than higher fat, jeans are fitting better already. I think the high protein is keeping me full, soon I will get brave and add back in more veggie carbs, but for now I am leaving things be. |

Cals- 1.161 Fat- 48% Carbs-7% Protein-45% Have only been having coffee in the morning and not eating until around 2ish. This has not really been planned, but is happening naturally. I guess I must be in ketosis because hunger has been very controlled. |

Hi Jeanie! Thanks for asking.
It is going well. Except last evening when I stuffed myself with almond muffins. It was first day of TOM, so I am thinking my sugar went down or something. I have also lowered my carbs too low for the past 3 days. I was doing better with more carb veggies, I think. But I am not too concerned as it was just one evening. Today I am not having any cravings but feel the effect of the honey that was in the muffins (feeling tired). Overall I had very smooth PMS. Actually 2 cycles have been good since starting JUDD, so I am happy about it. This binge last evening caught me by surprise as I thought I was out of the woods ![]() |

Cals-1276 Fat-51% Protein-38% Carbs-10% Feeling a little bit hungrier the last couple of days, but am going to keep things the same and see what happens. Higher fat has never made much of a difference anyway. Sleeping well, no hot flashes and am not depressed Marika What % of fat do you normally average? |
