Right there with you Marika, another bad day for me as well. I guess I must just like destroying my health and for that I am ashamed and feel guilt that I may someday be a burden to those whom I love due to not taking care of myself.

Yeah, never hungry after the binge. I am drinking lots of water and it seems to help with the headache and fatigue.
Isn't it amazing that we can't remember the lousy feeling next time the binge thoughts arrive

I am over the binge and I am sure I will eat less tomorrow without any effort. . I really just don't see the point in berating myself or deluding myself that it will never happen again. What I really don't like is the fact that I ate eggs, tuna, mayo, cheese, almonds yada yada yada to try to quiet the cravings fully knowing that I would still binge on the carbs. In the past I would know that feeling and not even try all the low carb food first, this would keep the weight gain to a minimum by eating only the carbs CAD style.

Jeanie, next time it happens you will do the CAD style. I know what you mean about eating so many calories from proteins to try to stop the binge and than binging anyway. Moving on my friend, forget about today

700/1500/1000

I am going to try these numbers as calorie rotation cycles. Low carb-ish but not real strict.

10/26 700
10/27 1500
10/28 1000
Repeat

Am realizing that I really do fare better eating very low carb, bloat wise. I tried on some of my winter jeans today and they fit okay, but too bulgy/bloated in the lower belly area. I am going back to a very strict mainly meat and egg type menu with minimal veggies for a while at least. When I start feeling bingey or get that down in the dumps feeling I will allow for a CAD high carb meal.

I think I may be eating more fat than I ever have?? Bacon, fried eggs, chicken thigh, beef roast, mct oil, coconut oil and a borage oil capsule have left me with zero cravings for two days now. I even said to myself if you could have carbs right now could you eat them and the answer was definitely a no. I like that feeling. Sometimes just merely seeing all the carbs I tend to binge on in the grocery store is more than I can take, but today they held no appeal. Stores are getting sly as well, I think they know some shoppers only navigate the perimeter of the store, so they are starting to strategically place products in places other than the inner isles.

That's great Jeanie! Some people find high fat helpful with cravings. Maybe that's the answer??? Maybe that's why SLD works because you take extra 2 tbl of oil in addition to what you normally eat. I think I am going to increase fat even more, even thought I am very liberal with it, I may perhaps do ghee SLD style again.

I did have a little reflux last night so I will start taking the ACV tonight. I have tried the oil alone and it seems to make me hungrier sooner than when I eat it with a meal.

Did you have any trouble adjusting to the high fat? I am loving the AS, but I feel so nauseated, last night while trying to sleep I actually felt like I needed to vomit. I didn't but needed to take some anti-nausea medication to get back to sleep. I tried the ACV and it felt like it made the acid taste worse

Sorry to hear that, Jeanie. I never experienced any issues with fat, but I also never tracked my fat, so really don't know if what I am eating is considered high fat. I really don't know since I only measure calories and carbs. I don't skip on fat and use liberal amount of EVOO, ghee, mayo. I mostly eat lamb and salmon and they both have good amount of fat.
I hope you figure it out, perhaps it is a temporary thing

Thanks. I hope it is temporary. People talk about probiotics and digestive enzymes but I don't really know if they would help. I hate to buy more stuff that doesn't get used.
