Shoelattegurl's back at it!

C1D1: Im back! And ready to be back on track and accountable! I took about a month off from my WOE, gained back a few pounds and felt it let me tell you!! So Im glad to be back eating healthy, and starting losing weight again! This cycle will go from April 9 - April 25. Hoping for a 10lb loss!

Menu today:
Hot Lemon water w/stevia
Breakfast: Kefir smoothie w/frozen strawberries, agave nectar, handfull of baby spinach. (1 probiotic, 1 fruit)
Snack: 1/2 C cottage cheese, approx 15 red seedless grapes. (2nd probiotic, 2nd fruit)
Lunch: Baby spinach salad w/shredded carrots & red wine vinegar.
Dinner: BBQ chicken breasts & roasted cauliflower with 2 Tblsp olive oil. YUM.

C1D2: Down 2lbs already today. This made up for my hectic morning! Last night I tried to be efficient by freezing 1 C of my Kefir and 1 C of my berries for my morning smoothie and putting them in a little sip lock baggie. That way, when I got up, I could just through everything inside the baggie into my blender and it would cut me down on some time in the morning. Well, that didn't work out so well. I realized quickly that I still need some kind of "liquid" to get things moving. Luckily I didn't freeze all my Kefir, so I made my smoothie the regular way this morning, but what a waste of time I spent last night preparing and then this morning trying to get things working!

Menu today:
Hot lemon water w/stevia
Breakfast: Kefir smoothie w/frozen mixed berries, 1/2 C baby spinach, agave nectar. (1 probiotic, 1 fruit)
Lunch: Left over BBQ chicken, baby spinach salad with red wine vinegar.
Snack: 1/2 C cottage cheese, approx 20 red seedless grapes. (2nd probiotic, 2nd fruit)
Dinner: 2 Grilled turkey burgers w/mustard. Roasted cauliflower w/2 Tbls olive oil. (2 servings fat)

C1D5: TGIF! Its been a busy week, but Im still on plan! Down 5lbs today! Yipee! Tonight is poker night with friends. There will be alcohol and pizza. Im staying away from the pizza tonight for sure, but I may have a glass of wine. We will see. Here is what the menu looks like today.

Hot lemon water w/stevia
Breakfast: Kefir smoothie w/frozen strawberries, handful of raw baby spinach, agave nectar. (1 probiotic, 1 fruit)
Lunch: 2 grilled turkey burgers w/yellow mustard, small side salad with red wine vinegar dressing.
Snack: 1/2 C cottage cheese, 1 small orange. (2nd probiotic, 2nd fruit)
Dinner: Im not exactly sure yet. But I need to make this a good one in order to avoid the pizza tonight at our poker party. Hmmm...time to check out some new recipes.
