So you gained some back over the weekend, but not all? Not that I'm advocating this, but that means you can cheat on weekends and still trend down overall. It's not the worst thing in the world.

Check in daily. I miss you and KNOW that checking in is helpful to our long term chance of success.

Howdy, howdy, howdy, I'm here.

Ugh and super ugh. For a few days there anyway. I seriously don't know what my issue is.

So, with my dieting ADD I have begun yet another journey. I rejoined WW online and am giving that a go. Started Wednesday which is sooooo out of character for me - I'm a Monday diet starter which means I usually use the weekend to go cuckoo bananas!

Anyhoo, starting day 3 today and hanging in. I texted my friend on Wednesday night and said this is for the birds, I'm quitting. But then I realized I paid for three months online and I'm going to make myself use it. It's 12 weeks. I can do this, right?

One last hurdle is a wedding this weekend and I think I'll be just fine. Chins up and fingers crossed! LOL!

Scale - well after my side trip into nuttiness I was all the way up to 245.8 when I restarted WW on Wednesday. Today I am at 242.2. Moving in the right direction. 230s here I come (again!).

WW is wonderful. I wish wish wish I could do it and be able to eat whatever I wanted to do it long term. I managed about 2 months and lost 20lbs before I went nutso Had to come to grips with the fact that I *can't* have whatever I want including low-fat anything, bread, or fruit. I think this could be a great tool for you, I'm excited to see what you can do! 3 months is nuthin lady, you can SO do this!!!! Just think, you can have anything! No more feeling of deprivation or feeling cut off from anything. Work it girl, you'll do fab!!!

I feel you on the dieting ADD. Dieting is most definitely for the birds. I'm excited for you for starting with ww. You'll prob do great since you've done so well with juddd. I think it sounds like the perfect plan for you right now. You are only 2.3 away from the 30s!!

Hey Amber - yes so close to those 30s! I get in them and then jump out of them like they are a hot frying pan! And I think you are right - this is the perfect plan for me right now.

So three days under my belt and they are getting easier - I just had to build my foods back up on my phone app. Thursday I was so frustrated having to figure points in everything. And what's weird is I used to know WW backwards and forwards. At least on Friday it didn't take me 30 minutes to pack my lunch!

I made a big pot of Taco Soup last night so unless my son eats it all, I have something ready for dinner when I don't want to cook. Put it in the WW Recipe Builder so I could figure the points. Had my son yelling me the info while I input it at the computer. But at least it's done for the next time.

I really truly don't want to be a daily weigher because the scale messes with me something terrible but, alas, I have to accept that I am. But luckily the scale is being kind and I'm all dimples and smiles.

Today's weight - 240.6!

I'm flooring it to get into those 30s then I'm gonna nail the door to the 40s shut. Now where is my hammer???

Fantastic lady!!!!!

I am fighting to get out of the 40's myself. I have no idea where I stand scale wise. Frankly I'm a little tempted to look, but I won't.. Maybe I will right before I leave for my trip in a couple weeks tho...
Once the vacay is behind me I am determined to get as close to 199 as I can before mid-October!

You can borrow my hammer tomorrow. Once you get the door nice and solidly closed up, send it back so I can get my booty forever out of the 30s.

Okay so my new weigh in day is going to be Monday which I hope (pray) helps me curb it in on the weekend.

Number today - 241.4 for a loss of 4.4 since starting WW on Wednesday. I'm happy. My weight was actually a bit lower but my husband and I danced at a wedding on Saturday and it didn't seem like much at the time but I'm super sore from my hips down! And believe me, there were no unusual moves going on! Seems I'm a bit (a LOT) out of shape! But I know with the soreness comes water retention.

Did good with food this weekend which was a HUGE change from normal. I'm working the heck out of the free fruits and vegetables. I was worried the sugar in the fruit might be my undoing but so far so good. I'm in cherry heaven!

Just got off the treadmill - trying to work in some exercise now.

I feel like I might be back in the zone! Happy me!

I'm working on it! And it is work some days.

Had a full on run in with a Chinese buffet last night. But I've picked up the pieces and am back on track today. And that, my friends, is what I think is the secret to success. Persistence. Not going bananas for long periods of time. If I could just learn this one tiny nugget of truth, I'd be golden.

Keeping things nice and clean today - fruit, had a nice salad for lunch and lots of water.

More tests are coming - I have family coming in from all over the place starting tomorrow. My sister and her two boys from California, my daughter and her fiance', my mom and then my DH will be home this weekend. TEN of us! Help me Rhonda.

You'll be fine, with WW PP you can eat what you want, just in smaller amounts. Enjoy the time with your family!

Okay then! Back in the saddle after a pretty nice weekend with family. By the time everybody left, though, I had a whale of a migraine which mysteriously (wink, wink) went away once the house was quiet again!

My son left to go tubing for the week so my sidekick (well, he's 19 and never home so I can't truly call him that) is gone. DH left to back to his work city yesterday and it was me and the dog. Hard to get used to after having so many people in the house.

Weight wise - up 2.6 which as I have noted on other journals is really amazing! I usually put on at least 5 pounds when I get off track in a weekend. I tried to make better choices than usual; we ate out quite a lot! And there were some Mambo Taxis in there somewhere (margarita with sangria).

So with no one at home, I should have a good week. My son and I discovered that we are as bad for each other diet-wise as my daughter and I are. I'm really working on getting myself out of the mindset that I need to lose X amount of pounds by X date. One goal I do have and it is a nice looooooooooooooong one - my daughter is getting married in June 2014. I have two years and if I lose just 1 pound a week til then I will look smashing! Surely I can do that, right?

Right!! You can do that! And even if you just lose half a pound per week, or 2.5 per MONTH, you'd be in 1-derland for the wedding. Wouldn't that be amazing? I think so.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the time with your family.

Not gonna lie friends. Things are going down hill.

Every day I start off strong and by evening it is all in the crapper. I don't know what is wrong with me. I'm back in the Land of No Mojo. I need to think on things. TOM bearing down on me isn't helping either. Food just seems to fly into my piehole.

Amber - you rocked Stillman's and did so well. You will continue to do well on JUDDD. This I know.

The land of 'no mojo' is such an alluring place. It is constantly calling my name too. The only thing you can do is to keep trying and starting each day trying. One of the days will work. Then the next day will be easier.

Definitely do some soul searching. Re-read your journal. Think about the upcoming wedding and how you want to look and feel. Think about how you feel when you had a good day. The pride and excitement that you are being healthier and moving towards your goals. We still have lots of time to make this year a great one for our health.

I'm here for you. I know you can do this!!

I'm here Honey, and I'm telling you that I know EXACTLY what you're going through, I'm so sorry you feel so out of control. MY "calorie counting" was also WW and I was extremely hopeful for about a minute. I'm not saying it isn't a great program, for someone else...just not for me. I cannot spend so much time thinking about food....obsessing about food. It is killing me. I'm declaring war on food and putting on my JUDDD armor once again, starting tomorrow (lol, ain't it always tomorrow?) Take some time, love yourself, you are not a bad girl. Join me if you want, either way I'm here for you! UP day down day any way day, you've got a friend in me.
