I didn't weigh yesterday, so I really don't know if I lost or not...was 184.5 this morning.

B-Protein shake

L-Leftover chicken stir fry

D-Pork chops/salad

S-Cashews

Will do a video again tonight.(30 day shred)

Last weigh in: 187 but that was a few days ago and TOM is like 3 or 4 days away. So, I am staying far,far away from that evil machine for a couple days.

I have come to a conclusion...I eat less if I skip bfast. Today, I just had a coffee and I feel pretty good! I don't feel like I am starving...so I think I will just start eating at lunch time for a while...and try to end my eating around 8pm. Of course, still try to get protein in but something has to give on the weight loss front. I can't keep going up,up,up! Not gonna happen! I need some self control! I def feel more in control if I don't start my day stuffing my face, not to mention ending it that way too!

-Energy drink (8)-0 carbs
-Iced coffee (I had to break a $20 so I bought this and I think dude poured half a carton of half and half in it!) really!? And the fool looked at me crazy when I asked for sf vanilla/cream. He seriously said, "what do you mean cream" uuuuummmmm don't you work at a STARBUCKS? Off with his head.

-L-Hot dog (no bun) w/chili and cheese

-D-Pork chops probably bc I ended up making taco salad last night.

I have lots of DIY projects to do this weekend in edition to my son's bday party. It should be low key (easy peazy-after 15 years of throwing bday parties,I am a pro)

To dos:
Order balloons
spray tan
Help mom sort med bills
Get cooler out for drinks (for party)
Get house cleaned up (He is having friends spend the night)
Redo toes (yes, I'm a little vain lol)
Figure out a present for him (although I told him his cell phone was his present!)Probably grab him these socks he wants and maybe a cell phone case

Happy Monday...

CJ's party went well! My mom broke her toe, so ended up taking her to the ER so they could xray it. That was an ordeal as she cannot put ANY weight on that foot. Goodness! bless her heart, 2012 is NOT her year.

Weight wise...I think I am doing better. I have been eating less by not eating breakfast...crazy! I don't start eating until 12 or so and end up eating a lot less. Weird.

I weighed yesterday evening (around 4) and I was at 184...pretty good considering it was the middle of the day and the last time I weighed 187 FIRST thing in the morning...so I am losing again... at least maybe this will help me get back into the 70's. I also have been taking my b12 again and boy it helps SO much. I didn't realize how much!

This is going to be a busy busy week! So much to do + helping mom.

Happy Tuesday...

Moving right along...TOM showed up right on time... thank God, now then it should take a few lbs with it when it goes away, right!? LOL

I have been trying to only eat breakfast if I am truly hungry because I feel like it makes me hungrier throughout the day...so needless today, I WAS hungry/starving this morning...and I had a bacon,egg biscuit w/strawberry jelly. It was yummy!

Having coffee/WATER now.

L-Not sure,depends on if I am hungry or not.

Vitamins/meds:took lex,multi's and b12 so far. Need to do better w/these.

Wow,no check in in 6 days...wth!?

Did not weigh this morning, running late for work.

Plan for today:

B (more like early lunch)-egg/sausage (someone gave this to me bc they know I don't eat much. We will see if I can stomach the sausage...lately it's made me

L-EAS shake

D-Not sure...football prac tonight. Maybe I will figure out how to use the pressure cooker I got for my bday.

L-I ended up getting a salad w/buffalo chicken,egg,avocado,cheese w/ranch. Really just ate half hb egg,3 pieces of chicken,slice of avocado, some of it is coming back up... I still have most of it for another meal.

Moving my protein shake to afternoon snack

D-Rotisserie chicken,veggies

LND-ended up being a made up stir fry...chicken/sausage/veggies


B-Chobani yogurt
S-Cashews
L-Half personal pan pizza minus a lot of the crust
D-Hamburgers or some sort of casserole

I am annoyed with work stuff right now, and really want some m&ms

I'm going to attempt to stick with coffee/protein shake for afternoon snack.

I need a day off. Quickly.

MAD-Open letter to myself

I am :an noyed: at myself.

How could I:

-Drink pop-real pop-Dr.Pepper

-Allow my weight to gradually creep up without doing anything about it

-Go through my guts being physically ALTERED and not do my part of keeping it off

-Allow stupid carbs to control me AGAIN

-Let me size 9s get tight again

-Not exercise when I feel SO much better when I do

So, I am going to:

-Drink 90oz of water daily

-Protein first. If I can't get some self control-do some liquid protein days to retrain myself

-Go to my NUT appt on 8/8

-Exercise 6 days per week-even if it's just a walk around my neighborhood

-Keep it simple, quit overanalyzing. Basically, carbs made you fat-do you want to rid yourself of this weight or NOT? Quit w/the BS.

-Take my vitamins religously

-Stay focused on my goals-quit losing sight!

So far today-

2 cups coffee-first one w/half n half & s&l-second had to use coffee mate-I hate that powdered crap.

L-salad w/brisket. Mainly ate the meat and a little of the veggies

S-EAS shake

D-Not sure, going to run to store thought and get some ground beef and chicken...will make something with one of those.

Tomorrow, I am going to attempt a shake day. Well, shake and coffee day =)

I keep meaning to write here about a challenge some coworkers and I are starting Monday...that's part of why I am going to attempt shake days (weigh in is Monday)

We are all doing different "plans" and then we are going to see who loses the most

I am doing LC
My boss is doing "soft foods" (which includes ice cream..LOL)
Another coworker is counting calories
Another one is doing one meal a day

I guess we will see who wins! I am claiming my sweet victory already!

188 (weighing in at work)

I am feeling competitive... we did our 1st weigh in at work. We will weigh in again next Tuesday. My goal for this 1st week is to lose 4lbs (AT LEAST).

B-Total zero red bull. Feeling a little nauseous so not eating anything.

S-EAS shake

L-Protein/veggie

D-hamburger/cheese/salsa

S-Protein coffee if needed

Walk/run on treadmill,eliptical or video for exercise

Haven't updated this in a few days...

B-Carbs... (small hashbrown,biscuit w/eggs & bacon on it) coffee

L-Not sure...was going to do a shake

D-Pork steak,cucumbers in vinegar

Exercise-not sure..it's so dang hot. When I get off work, I want to shower and lay in front of a fan somewhere!

I just realized that there are 149 days until my 2 year surgiversary! I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to make goal by then. Surely I can lose 24lbs in 21 weeks!

Hello...this is an all time high and it SUCKS!!!!!! It's my own fault. Yesterday, I had a bunch of junk. I am just simply not being on top of my eating.

I had a dr pepper yesterday AND a shasta AND an iced coffee (that was lc, but still)

I also had a chicken enchilada w/guacamole and CHIPS.

I just feel like the only way to make goal is to be extremely LC until I make goal. My goal is to get back to 179 by 8/31. Luckily (or not...) I lose/gain fairly rapidly when I either do what I should..OR NOT..

So far today,

B-Bacon/waffle (small),coffee w/sf creamer

L-None yet, about to cook some turkey chili (lc)

D-Some kind of chicken.

I will start tomorrow off properly but I plain on doing better tonight as well.

I cannot continue to creep up. I will be SO disappointed in myself. I need to realize this is a lifetime of choices. Everyday is a new day. I need to quit making excuses and just do this already. I am mad at myself. This is BS. I am going to work out hard tonight!

A friend of mine said, "you should keep going and get toned up" Ok...I think he was trying to be encouraging but in reality he just made me feel like I am flabby. Men......sadly, I have to accept the reality. I have lost weight, but I def need to lose more and I def DO need to tone up this muffin top. It bugs me more than ANYthing.

Plan:

-WEIGH DAILY...it does help me despite what anyone else thinks.
-Drink water, crystal light,coffee,green tea only. No pop or calorie laden drinks
-Protein first, low carb veggies.
-Be prepared-FAILING TO PLAN IS PLANNING TO FAIL.
-Stay focused,log food, encourage others, keep going no matter what. This is a life time journey. ONE DAY AT A TIME.

I HIGHLY encourage you to use an online tracking site for your food and exercise. It is very motivating, and EYE opening when you see how many calories/carbs/sodium/sugar there are in certain foods. I am learning so much, and I love the tracking. Let me know what you think. YOU CAN DO IT. Set yourself up for success and this would be one way to do it.

Hi there...I actually do use an online tracker...but what I have found is that I only log the "good" choices... Thanks for the kind and encouraging words!!!

Great menu! I had a slip up already so I did extra exercise today. I did record it though. Have a great day! You can do it.

Daily weighing...must get back in the habit. I would say this is the single most important factor in losing weight to me. I have gotten out of this habit and it SHOWS.

So far today:

B-2 pieces bacon, 1 egg with laughing cow cheese,coffee

L-Not sure- have tuna on hand but honestly I am not in the mood for this

S-Protein shake

D-Pork roast, veggies of some sort

Ok, so...I am re-reading (or skimming ) The Diet Cure...and subsequently, I started on L-Glutamine. So far so good! No drive for carbs or sweets at all!!!! I have only taken it twice,so we shall see.

B-Bacon,biscuit

L-Salad w/hb egg,cheese,cukes and ranch and mayo

S-Protein shake

D-Smoked sausage/steamed veggies in cheese sauce

I am also going to add L-Tyrosine after payday.

Wow! I haven't updated in like 2 weeks! Terrible. I haven't been weighing (bad), so I don't even know how things are going on with that. My excuse was TOM and I knew that it was just going to tick me off! I started a new "business" venture that should also help me tone up and make $. I won't mention the name here *just in case it's against the rules* but I think it will make a difference. It also encourages me to drink water! Which helps no matter what type of plan you are on.

So far today:

B-Coffee and thermofit.

L-Not sure-not hungry! but something from the cafeteria

S-Protein shake

D-Tacos for the kids, I will try to stick with meat and cheese/veggies

Exercise:Yoga video?
