Dear friends, I need hlep and support BADLY

Help me please, doing Karate and am 90 to 100 Ib over weight. I dont want to stop karate and I want to difinitly lose weight in one year time. please give me advise...... I tried Atkins but it was very hard with excercice.

Hi, mm. I really think that low carb is a great way to lose a large amount of weight, but you don't have to do it zero carb. Maybe plan to have some carbs just before your karate workout, say a snack of nuts or cheese or something with a few carbs, and make your meals low carb. I think if you experiment, you should be able to find a way to continue your karate and still lose some weight. Please post here often--people will come in and help you, I promise. This CAN be done, and it can be done without the miserable hunger that comes with low-calorie dieting!

Actually, there is no real need to add carbs to exercise.

Initially you will find that you lack endurance or stamina. This gets progressively better so that at 6-8 weeks that you are at 100% of your pre-LC diet endurance or stamina. YMMV on the timing.

The "one has to eat carbs to exercise" is probably junk. Your body needs energy. You get plenty of energy with LC'ing. You have to realize that your body is doing fine burning fat.

Don't stress on the issue. Your body will carry you through.
