godsbeloved79's Fat to Fabulous Transition

I keep asking myself why start new journals with the same mindset only to fail? Well to answer my own question, because I refuse to ever give up and I know there is a slim fabulous woman on the inside screaming to come out. So with that said I plan to do whatever it takes to get this weight off and keep it off. I won't be doing low carbs 100% but it will be incorporated in the plan I'm going to follow. I'm doing what works and what will continue to work so I can come off the roller coaster for good. So here goes again to better health and a fabulous body mind and soul. :jumpjoy:

Despite what plan she followed, she followed a plan and has been successful.

Hey Lyn!

Plan is going well, I've been adjusting but I'm working out a lot now so I'm having fun with my food.

How's everything for you?

That's good to hear Cle. I'm back on plan as of tomorrow and I think this time is going to be different because my mom is on board with me. She had to start eating healthier by force and I want to make this lifestyle transition with her.

Starting low carb over the weekend should be easier because I have more time to prepare. Even though I've done Induction over and over and over again, I still get excited and curious about the effects I get from being in ketosis. Lost of appetite is the best feeling.

You have the right frame of mind and I know you will accomplish all that you set out to do. Thank you for reminding me to never give up.

That's cool, it's great to have a partner to keep you on task!

Yes, having your mom along will help a lot.

This is going to be your time! You will do it!

Sara7272 02-20-2012 06:21 AM

hey girl! I see you on Ceecee's journal and I saw that you started a new journal, great idea!!! I did the same thing my third try on this (didn't want to re-live past failures in my old journal) and it really helped me stay accountable!!! Good luck! I'm rooting for you!

As a fellow Floridian too ;)

Hi Cle. It was relaxing and I did well ;). How was urs?

godsbeloved79 02-20-2012 12:56 PM

So in the beginning I decided that I would do low carb/my own thing. But when I thought back on how good I felt eating the low carb way and exercising I quickly changed my mind. I'd rather reap the benefits doing it the right way. So here goes to becoming healthy and fit in 2012. No more procrastination or excuses.

Long day in the office now off to grab a Cobb or Bacon Ranch salad for dinner. Things are coming together again and becoming second nature. Have a great evening ladies.

Yes I agree, but I had Cobb for lunch so Bacon Ranch for dinner.

Be careful of too much salad in a day...at least for me...can cause int. issues.

Ok. Thanks for the tip. I'm just being lazy and don't feel like cooking. I'll whip up a nice hearty low carb meal tomorrow. :)

kittycitygirl 02-21-2012 07:44 PM

Hate to see you find out the hard way! :( Some probably can handle it, but.....LOL Too much fiber I guess.

Dedicated 02-22-2012 04:00 AM

Morning Lyn!!!
I'm baking some chicken now so I can take with me to work...

MagieDen 02-22-2012 05:24 AM

I  salads too but sometimes it disturbs my digestive tract. I just think some people can handle it and some cannot.

The salads sound great though. You are on your way, keep it up!

BTW- Like your picture! :)
