Hi ladies. I've been MIA, but things are moving along pretty well. I have a wedding next weekend where I'm going to be a host and a Spring Tea this weekend with my aunt's church. I needed a QUICK fix so I took desperate measures to get a lil slimmer.

Good Morning, TGIF

So after the quick fixes and be able to wear what I want to all the events I attended or are attending. I still feel empty? I know a lot of it has to do with me not eating healthy, and despite the weight coming off; I know that something is missing and it's that feeling that I have when eating low carb and losing. Appetite suppressed, drinking lots of water, exercising, and just the fact of knowing that I'm making lifestyle changes for the long haul. So I plan to start low carbing again after the wedding tomorrow. Hope all is well with u ladies.

I know that feeling. I call it needing to get back to normal....LC has become my normal. Others are vacation...fun, but need to return to normal happily afterwards.

Good Morning, TGIF

I have a lot to do this weekend, and exercising is a part of the plan. I know much of losing weight is what goes in my mouth, but exercise tones the body and keeps the heart pumping as it should. So in a nut shell, it is beneficial and not an option.

I'm using old tricks to keep me focus that worked in the past. I have a size 12 pair of jeans that I plan to use as a measuring tool. I will weigh once a month and that's all. As long as my cloths are fitting looser, then that means more to me then what the scale says. Although seeing the numbers drop keeps me motivated too, I don't want it to get me discouraged because this is going to be a lifestyle change for me, not a race.

Meals:

b/ 2 beef sausage links
s/ pork rinds on hand
l/ not sure? might be a Cobb salad
d/ thinking lemon pepper wings

Gosh it's been a few days since I updated my journal. So what's new?

I weigh in tomorrow and despite what the scale reads I'm still happy, because I feel great. Every time I start low carbing again, I ask myself why cheat and go back to my old eating habits that keep me tired all the time and full of bloat. I feel lighter and more energized now and that's all that matters.

I'll be headed to the market this evening to restock on my favorite low carb items and prepare a few meals for tomorrow and the weekend. Thinking, lemon pepper shrimp stir fried and broccoli for dinner?
