Thanks girls! I'm chugging along. Got my food prepared and I'm hunkering down for another week of P2. Even if the scale stalls (TOM is due) I'm still losing inches and locking in the 140's so, it'll be of some benefit even if I don't get to 145. We'll see.
I'm down to 147.2 this morning, after lifting yesterday. So, that's a good sign I was all set to quit today. I'm noticing I'm losing weight on top ( the girls) which is NOT the plan! But, then reflecting on the bigger picture, I think I'll ride it out. It's a temporary sacrifice. I tend to put way too much esteem on food, almost making a bit of an idol in my life. I'm going to look at this little extension differently. Going to take the time to pray and be thankful instead of whining all the "boredom" from not eating can be much better spent!

The thought of what Jesus did is what kept me on a 40 day round, I worked on not making food an Idol. I am still a work in progress in that area because when I am weak He is strong. You can do this Julie!

Well, I'm
to say, I think I'm going to stop today after all. I'm ravenous! Have been all day! And really grouchy! Almost bit dh's head off while he was eating trail mix right in front of me! I feel a bit bad, especially since I really wanted to give a longer round a go. But, tshi hunger is really making me obsess about food! Not exactly what I was hoping for. If I feel better after dinner I may change my mind again . But I'm hungry .Quote:
I wish I wasn't hungry. It's so much easier when there's no hunger! Thanks Laura! Thanks leisha! I need all the prayer I can get! ![]() Quote:
Anyway, unless I get surprising appetite suppression tonight, I'll call today LDW 147.2. not too shabby, and a new low(except after a CD)! We'll see. Looking forward to P3 though! ![]() |

I have no idea if you've heard of the No S diet but it's really not a diet at all. I'm in my second week of it and I feel very free. I know that over time I can take the weight off but this time around, it will stay off. Because I will already have ingrained in me the knowledge of how to live and eat in the real world from all I've practiced getting to that point. I think you might be ready for just this type of plan.
Finish your P3 and then come on over to the rest of your life! It's amazing how little you have to think about food when basically nothing is off limits to you. But the guidelines of the plan teach you normal eating. If you're interested, check out nosdiet.com. There is also a no s diet thread that TerriMM started just two weeks ago. She does a great job of explaining it all in the first post. I'm sorry you had such a rough day. It will get much better, no matter which path you choose to take next. Be good to yourself. You've come such a long way, Baby! |

I had a nice drop today. I'm down to 146.4-new all time low for me!
so, deciding to end my round seems to be the right decision for me ![]() I feel thinner. My muffin top is mostly gone! Dh was commenting on it today, calling me skinny! feels great! Now, to stick to it and make it permanent! I need to remember how hard P2 is so that I approach stabilization and maintenance w/ the right, serious attitude! Not done yet! ![]() |

Thank you ladies! Your support, enthusiasm and encouragement means more than you know!! I am very excited to get on with living my life now! I feel free in a way I haven't in ages. I've spent a lot of time and energy on losing weight. I'm happy that I did, but I'd like to spend that energy on better and higher things now!
I STS today. I had a lot of cabbage yesterday and TOM is just about here, so i Was a bit concerned. But, I'll take it! I'm going to add cream to my coffee this morning even though I know I probably shouldn't. Hopefully that little indulgence will keep me strong the rest of the day and not hurt the scale. It sue is yummy! ![]() |

Laura-
I hear ya!Thanks! I'm happy to report that today, day 1 of P3, I hit my GOAL weight!!! 145.4 today! I've wanted to weigh 145lbs since 6th grade!! I'm soooooooo excited! I really want to stay here! I want to take maintenance seriously and not get lazy or complacent. It took a lot of work to get here. I don't mind a bit of effort to stay here! ![]() |

Well, P3 day 1 was fun! I'm up 1.2, but still 0.6 under LDW. Only 1350 cals, all safe, and I'm up 1.2 overnight. Sigh. I hate those first few days when our intestines refill.
. But, it sure was fun being 145!!! Maybe I'll be able to get back there soon. We'll see. Not sweating it. Enjoying my coffee w/ cream and heading out to church in a few minutes.![]() |

You're right Maggie! It's just 1 measurement. My ultra skinny jeans that I wore today are a better measure
![]() Stuffed! 2 chicken legs for dinner, bunless burger w/ bacon, cheese, fried onions for lunch, Caesar salad, cottage cheese and blueberries, coffee w/ cream- love P3!!!! Hope I don't gain again, but we'll see. First week is the roughest Last edited by julieboolie; 07-29-2012 at 06:43 PM.. |

Yay on new low and WELCOME to P3!! I'm a bit behind in a whole bunch of threads but I woke up from a random nap this afternoon and realized that you're in P3 now! YAY!! So in light of your P3-ness, I leave you with this: Let's see how long we can stay away from Sweet Tomatoes ![]()

Amy!! You so get me!! These are a few of my favorite things!!! And we almost hit Sweet T's yesterday! Whew!!! Dodged that bullet! I plan to visit there next week, when my inlaws are in town. I've already told myself no prepared salads , make my own, and only chicken noodle soup-broth and chunks of chicken only. It won't be as much fun, but I'll probably be happier the next day!!Thanks Deb. yep, decided to push the cals yesterday. Gained a lb from it though. Still safe in window, but no longer below LDW . I'm fine though.I'm on P3 D3 today. I've gained back 2.2 lbs my first 2 days . Yesterday I ate out (again) all clean P3 legal, and the same Sat. I did push the cals more yesterday. Up to 1900, which is about the recommended level for me. I'll be eating in this week, which should be good. Got a rotisserie chicken from Costco yesterday. I'll be avoiding the skin and using the meat for salads t/o week. I'm still only 0.4 above LDW, but I like being under LDW and want to get back down there I would actually prefer a P3 CD instead of clean out P2 meals. A bit sick of P2 foods . May leave it in the freezer a bit longer.... |
