Happy Hump Day ladies! Wow, I can't believe it's been over 10 days since I last posted. Time is flying!!! I'm doing okay overall but have been slacking on my goal to eat healthier. I haven't been drinking my kale drink every day like before but I will do so today and here on. As I mentioned in Gracie's journal, I do well during the week but then crash over the weekend...not good for any type of weight loss. I'm tired of gaining and relosing the same pounds so I need to do something, I'm just maintaining now but not even in the 160's which is where I've maintained before. Deciding on my next plan of action...whatever it is, I will continue drinking the kale drink. G learned in the spring that he had an elevated cholesterol level, 140+, after drinking the kale drink most days, it's now under 200, 190-something. AMAZING!!

I have less than 7 weeks before the cruise...enough time to do a modified hcg round, stabilize in P3, then can be in P4 during cruise...decisions, decisions...

That Kale drink sounds like it sure is doing something!!! YAY!!!

I also can't believe how close it is until the end of the year.. holy cow.. your cruise will be here before you know it, and then my trip won't be too far behind that!.. YIKES!..

I hope you get to the place where you know in your heart what you want to do, but it sounds like you know!!! Good luck hon!..

I like your idea!! That's just enough time before your trip. I'm finishing up my round and it's been good. 16 lbs from my load weight which is good for me. Hcg is hard, but it does work!! You're in a great place. Good luck with whatever you decide. .

Wow, where did the time go? It's been a long time since I've posted here...work has been hectic and I've had some personal challenges but doing well and still blessed overall. I did attempt to do a round in October but mentally I wasn't as prepared as I'd thought so that was a wash. I've not fully committed to any plan but I need to do something or I'll end up where I was before. Time to stop talking/typing what I'm going to do and just do it. I've been exercising, started last week, and it feels good to be moving again but I went out with friends on Saturday and ate whatever yesterday so weight wise, it's not good. I will not weigh today to see the damage plus TOM is here, but may peek tomorrow.

Oh Shari we all know how hard a round is, and if you aren't 100% mentally in it, it won't work. UGH. I have tried to do another round myself, but can't yet.

Miss you too!! You're so supportive! I know...I wish I could muster the mental strength I/we had in 2009-2010 to do almost perfect rounds which gave me the best losses. One day...hopefully

Right now, I'm just trying to get back to posting here daily. Accountability really helps. I did brave the scale yesterday which is helping me to remain focused. I'm doing the mean green again...the best for a really good cleanse.

Hi ladies, so nice to come here and see the love. I've been okay overall just feeling drained mentally at times because of work stress. It's bad when I carry this home and it affects my sleep and mood. I'm working on doing better though and leaving work stuff at work and being in the moment when I'm home with the boys and G. Over the past couple months, people I've known directly or indirectly (through friends, family members) have died...and with it comes the smack in the face that our time here is short...none of us know when it will be our time and it's wasted time when stressed over things that I can't control, such as other people's actions and problems that are self-created.

I've been really more or less maintaining from the mid 170-s to low 180's which is still a lot higher than my norm of 168. We leave for a cruise in 14 days and I'm sooo happy of this because I need the getaway with my boys and G. I started induction yesterday and hope some lose before the cruise.

Work stress is just life changing. I hope you can find a way to keep it at work, but not always too easy. I am SO HAPPY you have your famiy to come home to and G to support you!

That is exactly right! The first thing in the morning when I get up, I say today or this morning, I am going to do my best for ME. Then I check in with myself throughout the day. Sometimes I do what I had hoped and sometimes I make a different choice. The best thing is that we do have a choice!

Just make the choice to do good for you at that moment. If you CHOOSE something else, at least you know it was up to you.

Hi Shari! WOW! I'm so happy for you about the cruise. My DH and family would love to go on a cruise but I'm afraid of them I hate the idea of being somewhere I can't get off! I know it's silly but it's something I totally fear. Maybe someday I'll grow a pair

Good morning ladies! I'm still running around at work and the boys are in basketball so it's two different nights, twice a week that their dad and I are taking them to practice...sometimes practice isn't over until after 9 pm!! Needless to say, I'm exhausted. So any energy/time I have leftover I've been on Cruise Critic preparing for our cruise...it's all I'm looking forward to LOL! But this takes me away from here...which is certainly where I need to be every.single.day. I can really tell a difference when I get more support and am encouraged by others.

I feel better health wise due to adding the kale drink back in my diet. I just can't say enough how much it makes a difference in helping with energy and cleaning out my GI system. I pretty much drink this throughout the day, snack on nuts when I feel I need more protein, then have meat for dinner, if needed. I say 'if needed' because over the past couple days the kale drink and nuts have been enough for me...with the running around in the evenings for the boy's practices I'm not home to eat a full dinner. When practice is over, I don't want to eat too late (have crazy, nightmarish dreams) so I don't plus I'm so tired, I just shower and fall into bed LOL. I braved the scale on Tuesday and it was 184.4, today it's 178. I guess the running around is paying off in this area, and since I'm in the mind frame to keep doing this, hopefully the weight will keep dropping.

Gotta run, but I'll try to come back later today to visit other journals.
