Shari, no problem, chica! The best thing about this place is the support we can find and give to others on similar journeys.

It is totally understandable that you're feeling "meh" right now -- hormones control so much in our bodies! Women truly go through so much that men cannot relate to in that regard.

I think the gym would be a great source of release for you...although I still have to force myself to go some days, I truly do feel the endorphins afterward. I bought a Groupon for Zumba at a local dance studio, so I'll be starting that soon! I think Yoga would be great for you, also!

Thanks! The membership price is a bit more than I want to pay but I may be able to budget it in. I can however use OnDemand exercises too and they are free LOL. Ugh, TOM still hasn't shown up yet although I'm having cramps and other symptoms. I read online that it can take 4-6 weeks following ectopic surgery...so I may have to wait.

I've been everywhere but here...weight is still bouncing around between 174-177. Today it's 174.8. I've been thinking of starting the 17 DD again, it really pushes me to eat the proper amount of fruit and veggies daily vs. mostly meat and begin exercising again. I'm going out Friday with the other moms to a jazz club so maybe I'll start Saturday....

Yippee That's so funny because I started it today I was talking to my friend over the weekend and she lost about 15 pounds and her hubby lost 35 lbs. pretty easily. She's small anyway and still was able to lose. My library had the book so I got it yesterday and it's really easy peasy. I'm enjoying yogurt, fruit, veggies, protein, eggs, green tea and olive oil. I've really been overdoing the sugar lately and processed foods. No wonder I've been sick

Hi Shari...I am Jennifer and have been on this crazy roller coaster called weight loss ever since I can remember. I was a plump child, fat teen, and overweight adult. I just wanted you to know that I am so inspired by your journey so far. You will have great success and I will be cheering you on! I am intrigued about the 17 dd diet. Please let us know what you eat and how you are doing

Gracie and Jenmay!

Wow, can't believe it's been a week since I've last posted. I didn't follow any plan over the past few days and I feel it. Friday I went out with a group of friends ("the Moms") to a nice lounge, Saturday went out with another friend, Sunday went to a party for Father's Day; my eating has been all over the map. In additon TOM finally came ( first time in a long time I'm happy for this visit) so I'm having symptoms related to this. The scale is not my friend today but it's expected.

I'm starting the 17DD today for a change and hopefully to get the scale moving beyond the 174-177 range. Last year it was very successful with quick loss the first week, but some factors are different now than when I tried it last year but I'll see how it goes. G and I are working together get healthier and hopefully by our cruise in December with the boys, we will both look and feel different.

Gotta run now, but will try to come back today to visit other journals. Happy Monday!!

Good luck Shari!! you know this plan works for a quick start, but don't put too much pressure on yourself to see a certain number. Things are different as you said, so be kind!!..

Have a great week ahead!!

Happy Hump Day! Down 4lbs since Monday doing the 17DD but now I am craving fat For the most part, I'm concentrating on eating protein, veggies, fruit and yogurt. I will add exercise in over the weekend. I'm trying to focus on eating right this week then add another important part, working out next.

Wow, that is awesome Shari!! Congrats on the 4 pounds gone!!

I am afraid I would crave fat also, but it is only for 17 days, right? Kind of like protocol, but more food and easier to do!

Keep up the great work!

Heyyyyy .... I'm slowly picking up the pieces... I lost my best friend and had a couple other tragedies occur and it sent my life into a tailspin... I'm doing good now and I'm slowly getting back to being me... I stayed away because since the falling off the hcg wagon my weight shot thru the roof and shame and embarrassment set in... Sooooo here I am starting again but this time I'm learning that It has to be about a lifestyle change and not the quickest fad.. I really missed you guys....

Hello to all of you guys and have a wonderful day!

Hi Shari!!! Congrats on the loss. I'm taking it easy this week and going back in full force next week. Still keeping things within reason, but not really focusing on anything but getting in some exercise.

Good afternoon ladies! Thanks for the support and encouraging words.

I didn't weigh today but I've been eating less and my clothes are fitting MUCH better. I can still tell I'm not at my comfortable weight but it took months to get here so I know I have to be patient.

Wow, can't believe I haven't been here since Thursday. It's not good when coming here as a daily routine is broken, too many days can get away and before you know it, you're in a rut again. I completely went off plan over the weekend and am feeling miserable today. I'm tired of being where I'm at so it's time to get even more strict. I'm going back on Omaha, to at least get to my more comfortable weight and I pray I'll be motivated to continue past my mini goal and finally reach lower numbers. I'm also encouraged by G...he's sticking to a great workout/eating schedule and looking/doing great!

I reduced cal plan starts tomorrow.. gotta go so will check in later.

Thanks Deb and Jen

Starting today at 180.4 I gained 5.8lbs since last weigh in...definitely deserve it after the way I've been eating since the weekend. Last night I topped it off with chili cheese fries and a banana milkshake from Checkers. I only loaded one day but really didn't need that after eating off for days but hopefully my body is loaded well and will sustain me through the next couple of adjustment days. Gotta run, will try to check back later. Happy Hump Day!!

I love cashews...once I open a can, forget about it. Loading is fun but I hate the extra weight gain. However I can see the benefit of it helping during the first few days.

time is getting away with me, quick post until later. Yesterday went well. I have to get used to the mental thing of not being hungry but feeling 'empty' because I'm used to eating a lot more and feeling full. Down 2.6, 177.8.

bbl....it's Friday eve!!
