So happy for you Shari! 165.2 isn't this the lowest you have been in awhile? 14.2 lbs. released in what 10 days is crazy good. You did it lady, now go on and work your new plan. Have a nice Tuesday!

Yes, this is the lowest I've been in awhile. I stayed between 168-175 for weeks...really months. Now on the the next plan.

I feel clean and empty LOL. In 10 days I went from 179.4 to 164.4 but more important than that, my body has been cleansed and I really want to focus on eating a lot healthier. Off today due to a winter storm coming through got estimates from 3-8 inches expected. We've dodged the bullet on getting a real storm all winter so I guess it's overdue.

I did the Master Cleanse or it's sometimes called The Lemonade Diet. Very effective!!

Food tasted oh so good yesterday LOL. I didn't eat a lot as my appetite has really been reduced and I'd like for it to stay that way. Had stomach pains last night (guess I overdid it on the fat) and am down due to that, so I'm down another .4 to 164 even. I anticipate it will go up by tomorrow though... For now, I'm trying to get the eating part set in a pattern then I need to tackle exercising, again. I still want to do a 5k later this year and I think the best motivation would be to register for one. We didn't get hardly any snow so back to work! At least it's Friday eve...

Sorry to hear about your stomach pains Shari I am so excited that your weight is down and you are happy about that. The 5K sounds totally awesome, you will be running for that right? I am also glad to hear that you didn't get as much snow as they anticpated, sometimes we have to take those weather reports with a grain of salt but then other times we just get wammyed with SNOW!!! I that you and Deb report about your Friday eve, too funny.

Have a wonderful day Shari!

Hope your belly feels better today. I'm sure you need to add food back in slowly or your digestive system is going to be mad at you. Good for you on being 164 lbs. Do you want to drop more or just maintain?

Maggie~I was actually disappointed we didn't get more snow..I wanted extra days off work Plus, I love the snow...it makes the view so much prettier. I should say I love it when I don't have to drive in it Yes, I plan to run the 5k or at least walk fast like trotting LOL

Gracie~I want to lose more and get into the 150's. My goodness, I would sooo happy if I can ever see one-fifty something on the scale. It's been at least 2 years of going up and down the 160's to mid 170's.

Shari - I just looked up the Lemonade diet WOW!!! You must have some willpower. Did you only drink the lemonade concoction or did you eat some food too?

only the lemonade. No food because it defeats the purpose of detoxing. It's no doubt in my mind that I could only last as long as I did because of G doing it too. He's stronger than me because he's still going!

Yeah, when I really set my mind to something (and sometimes with support) I can get it done. That's why I know I could really lose weight and have been at goal if I didn't get in my own way mentally.

LOL, that's the new word HANGRY

I ate well yesterday, scale up to 165.2. It may jump up again until my body settles then start going back down. Since I know what's going on, I'm not too worried. G said he was getting "bored" so now he has switched to just fruit and veggies.

49 days until the cruise!!!

Deb~Yes, I'm doing Omaha. It works because my appetite is low so it's not hard to stick to it. But the losses won't show until my body adjusts to food again. I'm really taking it day by day because I may decide later that I want to do something else...you know me! Just feeling around for now, you know?

Maggie~ thanks hun! I hope you have a fantastic weekend too

Thanks Deb and Maggie, as always so supportive

Scale went back down to 164, I took a turn yesterday and only had half a grapefruit and protein. I told myself I need to eat more veggies but I just didn't want it or had a taste for it. This was the pattern I was in before the cleanse and I want to change this. I bought fresh green beans which I usually do like so I'll cook that this weekend. Today will be a challenge for sure...going out for a mom's bday..pole dance class then Cheesecake Factory. I've been trying to mentally prepare as much as possible and even looked at their menu. They have a Skinnylicious menu with a few items that look good. I'll order from that.
I do not like the clock going forward as it puts me off for a few days but I like the longer daylight.

Good morning Shari, wow 164 so excited for you. Before going out I have been looking over resturants menus as well, it is helpful before sitting there and wondering what to order and having everyones eyes on you. I am a pretty private person but not when I am on low carb friends. Anyway, good success to you today I am sure you will make the best choice for you food wise. What? Pole dance class!!! Have fun! Whoo Hoo on making some veggies choices I stick with pretty much the same ones these days. Celery, cucumber and iceberg/romaine lettuce so enjoyable. Welp getting off the computer heading out to hubby's job for a bit and then the mall. Have a wonderful Saturday!

Thanks Deb!

Thanks Maggie! Yes, I'm very happy to be in the lower 160's range again. My clothes are loose again...like feeling the droopy booty effect again.

I did the best I could and only gained 0.4, now 164.4. Frankly I thought I'd gain more because I had a chicken cesear salad from a salad place..forgot the name. We'd forgotten that when we were done, it would be Saturday evening and it's near a casino. OMG, the amount of people there was crazy...the wait to eat at Cheesecake Factory was 3 1/2 hours!! We said we love it, but not that much LOL. So we opted to eat in the mall area. But that saved me

The class was sooo much fun!! We first did a chair dance session for about 30 min then the pole dance session was about 45 min. You really don't realize how much you are working out until you're out of breath and sore. The instructor said she'd been doing it for a little over 3 years and it took a lot of bruising and calluses to get where she is and she's proud of every one of them. She showed us moves that was incredible and took a lot of training to get so much upper body and leg strength.

3.5 hour wait???? They must be smoking crack. LOL. I love that restaurant too, but that is absolutely ridiculous.

3.5 hours!!! I don't think so.

Good for you trying to get the veggies in. Do you think green smoothies would be more enticing?

Your pole dancing class really sounded fun. Wow, what a workout you got. I am sure a person really needs alot of upper body strength to get around that pole. I bet you were all laughing and having some fun with this and it must have been funny watching everyone giving going around that pole a go. I am sure if you go again you will be an expert at it. Good to hear you had a fun time. Have a nice Monday and thank you for visiting me.
