Oh ladies, thanks so much for the posts yesterday. Yesterday was a day for the books....I was so busy that everytime I got online here, I was interrupted and had to take care of a problem. Then I got hit with an unexpected huge financial loss!!!
I prayed and He came through. It's so difficult at times to be 'head of household' from one income while parenting two kids and making sure they are well taken care of. Their father, his family and my family are definitely involved and supports (it takes a village) but it's still just so stressful at times. Thankfully I have a way to replace the loss and the issue can/will be resolved. I can see light at the end of the tunnel, thank you Lord. ![]() What's funny is that my go-to stress food was cashews..LOL. I ate a lot while I was busy working on resolving this issue then after 9pm closer to 10, I had sweet potato fries. I had 5pts left, pre-cashews, so the fries took the 5pts and the cashews...well, how do you measure handfuls? We are celebrating birthdays today at work so cake will be served. I don't expect a loss tomorrow but it will begin a new week and I'll go from there. The beauty of WW is not stressing. BBL to post in other journals..gotta take the kiddies to school. I am sorry you are going through some finanacial tough times, life has a way of doing these things to us. I am encouraged to hear that things will work out and that you have peace of mind at the moment. I can not imagine being a single parent and having the full responsibility of rearing and providing the needs of my children, my goes out to you. I will pray for you Shari even though God knows your needs, others prayer can be very powerful. The WWP sounds like the plan for you for sure, keep doing what you are doing and it will all work out. Thanks everyone for the neverending support. Yes, I'm much better today..still recovering but thankfully not in the red. I weighed and am up 3.8lbs for the week. I did eat cake w/o including that in my daily points yterday and I ate more on other days so I'm not surprised I'm up this week. I love that today starts a new week...here's to losing what I gained and hopefully more!! |

Thanks ladies, happy Friday to you all too!!
I've been doing good...yesterday I had the mindset to go lower carb again to get off the excess weight. Then squashed it once I got home and had what I wanted...all within points. ![]() Today so far I've had a pack of Apples & Cinnamon Oatmeal and one strip of bacon. Lunch, I'm thinking of going to Subway. Dinner, what else...SPF (sweet potato fries). Will I ever tire of those things?! It's like my dessert for the day/night and only 4 points!! Oh and I have yogurt if I want a snack for 2pts. Love it! |

![]() Jayce~ I bought several bags as it's on sale at my grocery store. ![]() I'm craving wings so I forsee going over a bit in daily points today, 2 wings is 3pt and I can eat a lot when that's all I'm eating. So I'll be pulling from my weekly points but I'm okay with that as long as it for protein..not sugary items. |

Happy for you Shari! If you ever want to go lower carb WW it is totally doable, but kind of negates the idea of WW, where we are learing to have whatever we want, in a controlled way. I have done it both ways, and I much prefer just going with the flow of the plan.. never ever feel depriived, and the weight DOES come off.. Yes, slower, but it does!!

Good morning ladies! My weekend was very good. I enjoyed wings yesterday, went over my daily points due to higher fat but not stressing because I still have a lot of my weekly points left.
Today I had Italian turkey sausage with eggs in a low carb wrap. Lunch will be ground turkey with mushrooms and broccoli (weird but good). Not sure about dinner yet. I have yogurt and grapes to snack on if I get hungry. Deb~you are right. I gave up counting carbs and am just going with counting points and eat according to how I feel/want for the day. Some days are naturally lower in carbs, some higher. It's definitely a learning curve for me with learning to be okay with eating a variety of food without guilt and not going overboard too! So the losses will be slow because of that alone..LOL. Hope you have a fantastic day yourself. ![]() |

Good morning, nothing new to report. I went over daily points yesterday...each day I aim to not go over. Oh well, each day is a new day.
