TOM is coming and want to take it's sweet time...great! I'm not going to let it derail me like last month. I'm thinking of having Subway for lunch, eating oatmeal this morning. I need to go to the store to restock on other items but most importantly, sweet potato fries...only 4 points for 22 pieces. So I think I'll have that for dinner...

YAY Shari!!! This is why I love WW!!! you can eat moderate carbs, and honestly with portion control you will lose weight! You are at the bottom number of points because you are so skinny!... 26 is not much, but you can see this is what the body really only needs.. with the weekly points added for extras that you want to have. It is all worked into the plan.

I am basically doing WW myself. I don't track everything, because I just don't have time right now, but I did track for 3 months straight, so I know what I can have, and how much. It is memorized now. I love not having to worry about what I can have with my next meal, not knowing where I will actually be eating...

WW rocks!!! Keep up the great work Shari! You will get through TOM much easier not being restricted!!

Exactly! I signed up for the 3-mth deal so hopefully I won't have to pay longer but it's only $18/mth online so if I need to keep it, I will. I've paid a lot more just to lose weight (that I've regained..LOL). I love the freedom too!! I feel happy again, like I was on JUDDD but don't have to worry about DDs. I'm not at the bottom because I'm skinny, I'm short and older..LOL.

OMG, they are the best!! I either get those or onion rings. I love Red Robin and the boys like it because of the bottomless drinks and fries.

I like the idea of posting menus:

B-apple cinnamon oatmeal, 3pts
L- Subway roast beef on 9-grain wheat, 6" with lite mayo, peppercorn cheese and veggies; Sun Chips- 14pts
D- Sweet potato fries-4 pts, (maybe fruit-0 pts)
S: Caramel Nut Chewy Bar (low carb)- 2pts

Anytime: heavy cream for coffee, twice-3pts

Total: 26/day

I went to the store and stocked up on a lot of WW food. They had a sale on Smart Ones WW frozen meals, 5 for $10. I only got 5 because I've never had them and I want to see how they taste. These will be great to have in a pinch and I don't feel like preparing something. I could tell TOM is in the house because I got a lot of snack and treat items..LOL, like WW ice cream cups, chocolate chip cookie dough-4pts, Peanut Butter Delight- 5pts and a box of Cookies and Cream ice cream bars- 4pts. When I was putting the food away I thought about it's not a good idea to go to store before dinner either. At least I'm good for awhile.

One reason why I sometimes don't post my menu is because I often change it, last minute. I didn't eat anything posted. I had Banana Nut crunch cereal for breakfast which held me until dinner. I got busy running errands with the boys and when they saw Red Robin at the mall they begged to go. I looked on my WW app to get ideas but when I sat down it all went down the hill.
I had sweet potato fries- 15pts, onion rings- 18pts and ordered mushroom /swiss burger-26pts (OMG delish) but I only ate half so 13pts. Well needless to say, that pulled a lot of my weekly points (18 left) so I have to eat very clean and exactly to points over the next few days if I wanna see any type of loss.

Thanks Gracie, their burgers are good plus they won me when I had onion rings and sweet potato fries. The boys love the endless drinks and fries. I have to really reign it in today...I ate a couple things off my WW plan. I'm learning as I go what works and what doesn't.

I think you are doing GREAT SHARI!!! You will learn more about yourself everyday on this plan. What works and what just does not. So happy you are at least enjoying food with the real world...

Oh ladies, thanks so much for the posts yesterday. Yesterday was a day for the books....I was so busy that everytime I got online here, I was interrupted and had to take care of a problem. Then I got hit with an unexpected huge financial loss!!! I prayed and He came through. It's so difficult at times to be 'head of household' from one income while parenting two kids and making sure they are well taken care of. Their father, his family and my family are definitely involved and supports (it takes a village) but it's still just so stressful at times. Thankfully I have a way to replace the loss and the issue can/will be resolved. I can see light at the end of the tunnel, thank you Lord.

What's funny is that my go-to stress food was cashews..LOL. I ate a lot while I was busy working on resolving this issue then after 9pm closer to 10, I had sweet potato fries. I had 5pts left, pre-cashews, so the fries took the 5pts and the cashews...well, how do you measure handfuls? We are celebrating birthdays today at work so cake will be served. I don't expect a loss tomorrow but it will begin a new week and I'll go from there. The beauty of WW is not stressing.

BBL to post in other journals..gotta take the kiddies to school.
