I'm doing very good! I feel good and am really liking the way I'm eating. It's agreeing with my lifestyle and I can see how well it works in the long run. I was going to wait until I was in the groove for a couple of weeks but I'm too happy to wait I'm doing WW point plus plan. I was reading about Deb's success and talked to another friend about it and was like, what the heck, might as well give it a try again (I tried it using the points calculator book a friend gave me many years ago...not associated with them directly) as I remember it working very well prior to low carb. I'm eating close to the way I was on JUDDD...higher carbs but I try to do no more than 60g...sweet potato fries, sanwiches, ect. again. I just haven't gone full-fledged into white carbs or sugar. I don't have enough control yet. I've glanced at the scale and I'm down..after eating all my weekly points, for sure, at a Famous Dave's catering event. It's slow but after reading and researching about the program, I see it's also steady losses.

Deb~your advice really helped to confirm the decision. Now I don't feel anything is off limits as long as it's within points but I still don't want anything unhealthy. I can see why I wasn't losing weight..I was eating enough for a family of 5!! My stomach and appetite has definitely shrunk.

HAHA! exactly!! you really learn portion control, AND you get to eat what you like, in a healthy way. I love it!! So glad it is working well for you!.. keep it up!..

WTG Shari!!! Yes I have a friend here, Nikki. she is doing GREAT on WWPP. She is down about 130lbs I believe. She looks like a new person. I said that once I lose about 40lbs solid on LC I was going to switch to WWPP as well. We will see.

Step aside Jennifer Hudson, Shari is the new spokes person for WWPP! No pressure of course. So happy for you Shari, I bet you feel such a relief. Losing weight is hard and we need to find a plan or an exercise we enjoy and can live with and not drive ourselves batty. While some plans take the weight off fast others take the weight off slowly and sensibly(sp?). We all will have our days when we are in complete control of our eating and other days wonder "what am I doing?" Whatever days we have at least we know we have the support we need right here. Good success to you on WWPP.

Thanks ladies! Haha Maggie, Jennifer Hudson...oh my, her size 6 body is rocking!! I just want to get to a size 8 and evaluate from there.

I've been watching and reading a lot and it's truly inspiring to see how well WW works, if you work it. But that's with any program/WOE...just gotta find the one that works for you with less stress and internal pressure...at least for me. I'm no longer a slave to the daily weighing and am totally comfortable seeing smaller losses as my expectations have changed. I'm focusing on meeting my short term goal they set which is 5% of your starting weight.

I know I sound like a broken record Shari but I am going to say it again. I am soooo happy that you are at "peace" with where you are in your journey. It is ALL good, really it is.

BTW- The pressure we put on ourselves is not the pressure that others put on us, this I well know. You deserve the best so let's not do that to ourselves, pinky promise?

Nope, you don't sound like a broken record because I've working to get to where I'm at today for a long time...I'm still not exactly there but I see progress. I'm just tired of the stress and pressure I put on myself. My boys, G, family, friends, loved ones love me the way I am..whether I gain anymore weight or lose any more weight. Once this really sunk in, I've been able to change my view point and still work on me but I'm accepting this process is going to take some time.

Good morning, quick post as I have to get ready for work. I'm continuing to go down..a little at a time. Tomorrow is official weigh day but I'm down 4lbs for the week...eating very well. This morning I had a sausage and egg McMuffin...delish ! It was around 30 carbs so I will try to eat lower carbs for the rest of the day. Lunch will be what I was going to eat for breakfast, italian turkey sausage and eggs w/cheese. That will take up most of my points so if I get hungry I'll just have veggies or fruit later on...0 points.

Thanks ladies! Well, a deviation from menu..I left my lunch here in a rush to leave so had I Progresso soup that I had at work from my JUDDDing days and my supervisor passed arounda bag of snack size Hershey bars and I ate 2, which was 7 points. I looked on my WW app and saw that the soup is very low in points. I'm still within points for the day so I ate it all guilt free. Now of course I don't plan to have sweets every day but I think I'll just eat according to points only...I think..LOL.

Hey Shari! I am going to re-start WWPP myself soon...it did seem to help me feel more "balanced" & less restrictive. I tend to feel like I have to do "all or nothing" & set myself up for failure. Good luck, lady.

I think I'm going to eat just to points, giving up tracking carb intake. I still believe that too much 'white' stuff isn't good for you so I won't be eating a baked potato every day but it's not off the list either. Another restriction I'm letting go and just trusting in the plan. Another poster on this forum, Nikki, looks amazing from doing WW PP...if you look at her first page pictures to her last page pictures it's like .

Excited to read the sound of "freedom" from food restriction in your posts Shari. WWPP is a great plan, any plan will work as long as we work it, right? There isn't a one size fits all plan so do what works best for you and the leave the rest alone. I tried doing WW with hubby and it didn't work for me because I wanted to still count carbs and had to count his points for him and it was too hard for me at the time that I just stopped working it. Whatever helps to take the extra weight off of our bodies in a healthy way is all good. So glad you found your good, speaking of good those chocolates sounded good. See, there I go again thinking of food.

LOL, it was good and two was enough. I wanted to count carbs too but it's just a bit too much tracking. I think I'll naturally still eat the same way but I'm just not telling myself that something is completely off the table if I really want it and it stays within range. I have 3mths to test it so I'll give it my best.

I understand. I feel like that about many plans....LOL. LC just wasn't working like before but then again, I can see from WW I was eating wayyy too much. I say just go with what is less stress and just feels 'right'.
