It's YOUR plan and I think the best way of eating that YOU will stick with! Summer is getting into full swing and we need to find ways to eat with others without all the craziness and putting an emotion to the foods we eat. If you don't want it, don't eat it. I passed up the corn on the cob DMIL gave me and just said "No thank you, not today!" Grant it I don't really want it and that is a food I really don't crave (now if it were somehing like Cheescake, than the carb monster wants to come out in full force, but my Diabetes keeps me in check. )but I made the decision to eat it or not. I am sooooo excited for you Shari with what you have found and I know you will succeed at finding out what really works for you without the guilt!

Great plan Shari! I agree, JUDDD is great for planning around social events. I'm really just hoping to maintain for now - losing isn't an option while I go to the lake every weekend. Too many good treats and beer

So true, Pati..thanks. Yes, I'm JUDDDing. I weighed and I'm up a pound from Saturday's weigh in..but I ate a lot on Sunday so I don't know how much I lost yesterday. I feel good though..clothes are looser than before so I at least know I'm losing inches. Hope you have a good day yourself.

Thanks Deb and Pati!

I was busy yesterday..all my clients kept their appointments. I weighed after having a more MD yesterday and am where I was on Saturday when I started. Going to eat more basic today plus I need to drink more water. The A/C in my car isn't working and it costs an outrageous amount to get it fixed. I stay inside during the day but my commute home is the worst...heat index in the 100's!!

Busy day planned today too if everyone comes in so I may not get to visit other journals until later today. Hope everyone reading this have a good day...it's Friday eve!!

Well how dare the clients keep their appts!!! .. Glad to see you today Shari, I hope you can deal with that awful heat!! I sooooooooooo feel for you with no AC!! I don't think I could do it.

I also know how darn expensive it is to fix. Hopefully there is a solution soon, that does not put you in a bind. It is so darn hot here too. ugh!

Anyway, you have a wonderful day, and drink more water!!!

Ugh, I have had cars with no ac's and it would cost more to fix the ac than the entire car was worth. I hate that for you, Shari. Maybe it will be a simple fix. I sure hope so!

Hi Shari! No AC - UGH!!!! It's so flippin' hot here too. DS had a hockey game yesterday at 7 pm and it was still scorching! We got in the car and he stunk to high heaven!! Skating around with a hockey jersey on in 90+ degree weather = one smelly teenager I hope you can get your AC fixed soon!

thanks ladies, yes it's no fun. I just had one 34oz of water...need to down another.

Today is an UD and instead of junk I'm eating baked chicken legs and turkey italian sausage..LOL. I know it's a crazy combo but it's what I wanted. I've added carbs like wheat thins, bread, etc. but I feel best when the carbs aren't too high. I forgot my strawberries though...I'll have that for dessert with whip cream tonight
