Maggie~LOL, I meant that I'm feeling more like myself in general. TOM came and threw my hormones all out of whack! I really wonder if I'm going into early menopause...it's ridiculous how it affects me now vs. before. ![]() Yes, I'm happy to finally move my butt again..I definitely feel better. |

Good morning Shari! I hate when TOM visits - I am a miserable ******
Ane the week before he visits I'm a hormonal, emotional mess. Just not fair!!!! I'm glad you are feeling better and exercising again.I watched Extreme Makeover Weightloss with the girl and it was awesome!!! Wow did she transform herself. It took lots of hard work and dedication - plus she was able to quit her job to focus on it. Her surgery really made her SKINNY. It was very motivational until I realized I will never be able to get surgery to remove my batwings or mommy tummy!!!

Happy Friday ladies! I was swamped yesterday...I'm at work early to try to get some paperwork done. I came in early yesterday too so no exercise both days and I actually miss it. I'm going to make sure I exercise tomorrow, it's so relaxing and takes away stress after it's done.
I've been over the map with trying different plans...LOL, that's why I haven't mentioned anything yet, nothing has been concrete. I'm trying to find peace with something without feeling constricted...as I see my pattern of yo-yoing because of this. Truly, the one time I felt joy with my plans was when I did Atkins for the first time and JUDDD. The freedom with JUDDD is priceless...just counting cals but eating whatever was wonderful. Once I figure out what I want to do and I'm doing it steadily I'll be able to share. So far, I'm losing weight trying different things (as they all work) and am slowly getting back to my comfortable numbers. Last edited by shari; 06-15-2012 at 05:48 AM.. |

Shari, I totally understand about finding the right plan. I tried everything I heard of until I got so sick of it I just gave up and decided I would be a size 20 forever.
I got tired of working so hard to only gain it right back (and then some). Then, one day in church, I prayed so very hard for God to show me a way to finally stop the craziness and lose it once and for all. That very week I found hcg and it suited me to a tee. God gets ALL the credit here! Truly! I pray that you will find "your" plan, the one that is just right for you. ![]()

Hi Shari. I truly hope you find the plan that fits you. I had to take a break from dieting, the boards etc to do some soul searching and figure out why i was making this journey more complicated that it should be. Honestly was just tired of dieting. So i gave myself permission to just relax, eat what I wanted without the guilt and when I was really ready, give it another try. Have you thought about taking a break?

Although I've been all over the map with different plans I've lost 4.4lbs this week. Getting ready to exercise and continue onward. Thanks for the support ladies and hope you all have a great weekend.

Thanks ladies. After thinking and re-evaluating things I've decided (for now) to return to JUDDD. I want to enjoy food/family events/functions without guilt and restrictions. I weighed on Saturday so using that as my start weight. I looked back through my journal to get some DD ideas and have stocked my fridge. However I will be incorporating different ideas from other plans with JUDDD like eating more protein, yogurt, wheat, fruit, etc. along with exercising.
For example, I met my mom and sister yesterday at a halfway point (Potomac Mills Mall) as the boys are spending the week with my mom for vacation. We shopped and I was able to eat there with no guilt about 'going off plan'. I just used it as an UD so today will be a DD. I plan to have yogurt for breakfast, eggs and turkey bacon for lunch and ff hot dogs w/ketchup and slice of Pepperidge Farms bread (45 cals) for dinner. I'll visit other journals when I get to work.
