Good morning, thanks ladies. Got busy yesterday so didn't have a lot to time to come in and post. My son's track team won the championship!! It was very exciting and rewarding..all those long days paid off. A few other families and us went to Red Robin to celebrate. The moms and I are having a mommies ladies night soon...going to nice, jazzy spot with drinks, yes!
I lost 3lbs last week and was back down to 164..after Saturday, that went out the window but I'm not stressing anymore. I'm back on track and I'm truly in the mindset of taking it a day at a time. Happy Tuesday!

Hi Shari! Congrats to your son and his track team!!! That's fantastic! We were at the championships on Sunday for 6 hours too. My son got the silver in the 100 m Very proud of him. He is the youngest on the varisty team so next year should be his year to shine!!!

Good morning! I had a wonderful weekend. Back on track today I plan to add exercise beginning tomorrow. I felt the best when eating well and working out. I won't weigh until probably Friday or Saturday.

Thanks Deb, it was good.

Well, I've been reading Protein Power and some of the info I knew but there was much more I gained from it that I didn't know about. I'm loosely following that along with Atkins and am down 4.4lbs so far. I'm not weighing daily just going by how I feel each morning. Sometimes I just don't want the scale to dictate my mood for the day..as I was reminded how much internally changes are being made that aren't reflective on the scale. To have the best of both worlds instead of raiding my boy's ice cream container I bought Carb Smart Vanilla which has helped during TOM. I'm trying to get a bit more strict moving forward.

I'm sooo tired. Ugh, one of the symptoms I have now sometimes with TOM is insomnia, I only got a little over 2hrs sleep last night and am feeling it. I had to take my car to the shop and am waiting for the damage/cost for the new problem...so truly, I'm taking it one day, one step at a time.

I love hearing how you are getting to know yourself and your eating habits especially around TOM. I mean TOM comes every month for most of us and we act like it catches us off guard so we eat all the wrong things(I am talking about myself here Shari. ). The low carb ice-cream sounds like a good plan to have when TOM is in the house. I need to go shopping and get some for DS 20th Birthday tomorrow.(I can't have any but hubby and DS will enjoy it.) 4.4 lbs down is wonderful, KUTGW lady!!! I say do whatever works for you, Atkins. Power Protein etc... as long as you can live with it and be happy, go for it!!!! Have a nice Monday Shari!

Shari, you know yourself very well.. just do what is best for YOU. I have never read PP but hear so many good things about it. I should read it just for more information.

Hope your car situation gets taken care of without too much trouble!! Ugh, we are dealing with car junk too, but we have 4 cars to mess with...

Congrats on the weight loss!!! I agree that weighing daily is not real desirable..
