Ok, I'm going to make a promise to not weigh tomorrow..you're right. You know after coming off Simeons it becomes second nature..ugh. I'm so scared of gaining any of the weight back and feeling like this round was in vain... especially if I add in carbs. I need Pati's husband to come hide my scale!! Maybe I can give it to Gary to keep at his house

Hey Shari!

I'm trying not to be a slave to the scale but ohhhh emmm geeee it's hard. After weighing daily for years trying to switch to twice a week for me is like moving mountains! I don't know if JUDD is for me, I can't get with the 500 cals...I'm thinking of going back to 17 DD, I did well with that, just had too much moscato so I'm going to cut it out for a while.

I understand...if you decide to change your mind, you can go higher than 500cals, then you can go lower until your body is used to it and the SIR1 gene is in full swing. But I liked the 17dd too...really you can't go wrong, they both work very well. You'll have success either way you go.

DD for me. I agree with Cle, it's hard to break old habits so I broke my promise..but that number on the scale will make me not do it again. I just wanted to get a good idea for a starting point for a true JUDDD UD, I added carbs. Today will be my first full DD just counting cals. I'm tired of obsessing about low carb, low sugar, etc. I just want to concentrate on meeting my cal goals with true DDs/UDs to determine if this is right for me. I will use my weigh in next Thursday as my week's progress (which will mean weighing tomorrow after today's DD). I think I've been all over the map regarding doing this plan, doing that plan but need to finally commit to one and do it completely..so here goes!

DD menu:

2-Nutrigrain Waffles with sf syrup
2 ff hot dogs or wheat thin crackers with laughing cow white cheddar cheese
5 strips of turkey bacon
water & green tea

LOL, girl I went to the store last night, I'm determined to not feel hungry again today. I did it before and was fine..just need the right items to snack on to feel like I'm still eating good.

You are so right! I think I need to go shopping w/o my DD in tow and take my time looking at what works!

Good Morning Shari!!! I love those Nutri grain waffles!! YUM! I need to make a run to the farmer's market for more strawberries! I totally hear you with obsessing over carbs!! I am def over that mess this is the reason I like JUDDD. There are no limits on food options. I just have to maintain my cals. You DD menu looks good! Enjoy it chica!! Hope the scales are good to you real soon! I need to pick up more green tea also!

Cle what is 17DD? Yeah Moscato can be dangerous! Bevmo is having there sale BOGO for $.05 again. I'm about to stock up but discipline is def needed!

It's the 17 day diet...fruit and protein, low cal...and it works out to be lc but not too bad

Thanks everyone

How come I'm all prepared with good food for today's DD (unlike Monday) and now I'm not even hungry yet? So far I've only had coffee with cream. I may be able to actually eat under 500cals today as I'm not pushing it, only eating when I get hungry.

Girl I feel you on that, I'm not hungry today either like I thought I would be. I've only had my breakfast and it is now 2:00 pm and I am not hungry. I am drinking tea only because I stay so cold.

I got a headache so I ended up eating it, plus I do want to stick to eating most of my carbs earlier in the day...which I used and liked from 17dd. I'm drinking diet swiss miss cocoa because I want something warm now. If I get hungry later I'll eat a ff hot dog plus ketchup for 50cals..makes my total for today only 460 cals I'm slowly gearing my mind to begin exercising again...I love that feeling of working out, just need to start doing it again. Gracie, Marl and Pati are inspiring me too.

ETA: Oh I ended up eating also the laughing cow-white cheddar cheese on 16 wheat thin crackers...it was so good.
