Great choices Brenda...I can use some of those suggestions. Yeah the school lunches are not always the best choices for our kids. I think I'm going to just eat salads on Saturday with grilled chicken or other protein..that will be easy to carry and I don't mind eating that cold. Trying to stay away from nuts as they are huge triggers for me..I can't stop eating them and can easily eat a whole can LOL.

Happy Easter! I was invited to an Easter dinner but decided to not go. I'll fix something here instead and keep it clean. Still in deep ketosis and down 0.6 to 168.4. I'm participating in a Beat MaryLouise challenge starting tomorrow in which myself and other ladies are trying to be the first to lose 12lbs while keeping it fun but with some competition. I love challenges! Plus the accountability will help me reach the 150's! I can't wait!!

Sounds great Shari, I think one needs to either challenge themselves or others to help get some things going. The 150's sound Fantastic! You can do it!

Good morning ladies! Start of a new week...but short one for me. The boys are out for spring break this week so I took off Thursday and Friday which means I have to crunch it at work.

The upside is that I'm down another 0.4 to 168..I was 175 a week ago. I feel sooo much better and my clothes are fitting better too. The challenge starts today so losing 12lbs would put me in VWL territory...just where I want to be for the summer.

I'll come back and visit other journals when everyone wakes up and post.

It is! Yup, we're both working overtime the next 3 days to get it done. I'm so looking forward to spending time with my boys.

Woke up late...power went out yesterday and I set the clock wrong (AM for PM time). Up 0.8 to 168.8 but I expected a fluctuation at some point..was losing steady for 7 days. Cheese eggs, bacon and chicken legs planned to today.

I woke up late this morning as well. Fluctuations are just a part of this journey, can be very annoying but I am learning NOT to respond to them and just keep plugging along. I know IF I could take the emotional aspect out of this losing weight thing I would be skinny by now. I know I will never be a skinny minnie but I could dream can't I? Have a good day Shari.

now that's funny!! My body would go into a shock if I was to jump rope now. I used to LOVE to double dutch...the workout we did then as kids...I used to cry and get so mad when I had to go in the house. Now I have to throw my boys outside...LOL. Hope you have a great day too.

haha..yeah, a lot of us would be skinny if we didn't succomb to emotional eating. I really was expecting this blimp a couple days ago so I was not surprised..you can't lose everyday and my body has dropped some serious weight for days. I think too my new two set points are around this number, 168 and then 161..my body loves it there. I may have to throw in an egg day this week to get it moving again.

Good morning ladies, yes today starts my weekend! Have some ideas on what we want to do just have to narrow it down. My oldest have track practice this evening so it kinda limits our options. We celebrated a co-worker having her first baby with a very nice and fun baby shower yesterday. I indulged in some of the food and gained 1.2lbs, 169.2. I'm not letting it get me down or stopping my flow so back on track today. I'm envisioning the 150's...

Have fun on your day off!!! It's actually pretty nice here in the Burgh - supposed to go up in the 80's on Sunday Sheesh, calling for snow on Wednesday and then 80 on Sunday - and I wonder why we are all sick Definitely focus on that water - I drank 5 bottles yesterday plus 2 decaf coffees and some Powerade Zero. It definitely helps with hunger.

Good morning! Yes, we had fun yesterday at Dave & Busters. I stuck to plan and had a grilled chicken caesar salad and scale stayed the same, 168.4! TOM is slowly coming..ugh, so I'll see how I feel over the next couple days. I feel bloat coming on... Getting ready to head out to a track meet, anticipate being there all day again so I'll check in later.

Crabs, yum! Never heard of Yesterdays..are the prices good? I love crabs..my great aunt used to cook them all the time during the spring/summer. If the prices are decent, I'd love to get some.

The weather was gorgeous yesterday..perfect for a track meet. It was nice being around other families and my boys had fun. Today they're going with their dad to the movies so G and I are meeting and doing something (?).

Yesterday I had two salads at the meet, chicken salad and then shrimp salad. Delicious! The boy's father made it..he can really throw down in the kitchen....he surely helped my weight gain in the past LOL, but those salads helped me to eat on plan. I did eat a few nuts however I used some self control to not eat the whole can. I only gained 0.2oz so I'm happy with this especially since I usually gain pounds with TOM. Weight today is 168.6. I don't know what I'm going to eat today...

Good morning ladies, well TOM isn't cooperating with me..today is the worst with symptoms, ugh. Scale jumped up 1.2lbs as well to 169.8. I'm still eating good/clean so hopefully it'll show after this is over. Monday, again? Hope this week goes fast...
