Happy Thursday ladies! I'm doing well..two days eating low carb, down 4lbs..I'm really happy about that. I'm taking it day by day hoping that it'll all connect and I'll get my full mojo back..LOL. Almost Friday!!

Thanks ladies! I was talking to my mom and we're thinking of going to the Hamptom Jazz Festival in late June. I do not want to be heavier than I am now so I'm slowly building up the motivation to lose weight again. I was really carbed up..man, I won't even say all the stuff I had been eating

Gracie~no..it's been cold the last few evenings of track practice. Although walking would've warmed me up, I didn't do it. I will tonight though..

No need to tell us what you have been eating. I am sure with just eating clean LC(if that is the plan?) than that weight you put on will be gone in no time. The Jazz Festival sounds wonderful, how fun!

I'm in ketosis!! The sticks tested deep purple this morning so the fat is burning..LOL. I noticed yesterday that my appetite was reduced so I tested when I got home from track practice and it was light pink. I'm up a pound but I know it's from intense exercise. A couple of moms and I walked and oh.my.goodness....there is a very steep hill that we climbed 3 times while walking. I thought I was going to pass out My muscles are sore this morning but it was worth it. We walked for over an hour...I felt great last night! I'm slowly getting that exercise drive back too...

That is great news Shari! Those hills are great for your behind I walked yesterday too for about 45 minutes and my legs are achy today. I suppose that's a good thing! Nice to be in ketosis huh? Make sure you are getting lots of fluids and taking your vitamins - don't want to mess up those electrolytes. I have been drinking at least one 32 oz. powerade zero everyday to keep my electrolytes/minerals in check. I hate to get that weak feeling. I'm also taking potassium/magnesium+calcium+zinc because of all the water I'm drinking. You got this Shari!!!

Happy Sunday! I'm tired. Yesterday was the first track meet, we were there from 7:20am-4:30pm! My goodness, I wasn't fully prepared as I should've been and the smell of different food was so enticing..I'm talking Popeye's chicken, sausage sandwiches, hot dogs, etc. I did overeat in carbs by eating almost a whole can of mixed nuts, a chicken thigh and fruit but it was better than it could've been. I'll be better prepared next week with some low carb goodies to sustain me while out all day. The boys and M were good as I'd prepared snacks and sandwiches for them...just didn't prepare for myself, not the smartest thing.

Today I'm back to eating induction level and will weigh sometime during the week. Chugging the water for sure today.

My computer is acting really wonky so hopefully it doesn't die on me...I had to leave the site several times to try to fix it. if I'm not posting in the morning then that's why.

Thanks ladies. Computer acting better this morning..I guess it has mood swings too. I did well yesterday. I'm baking chicken now with cream of mushroom. Aldi's Cream of Mushroom is only 7 carbs per 1/2 cup..not bad. Not sure what I want for breakfast...

it's very good..I'm sucking juice off the bones now. I'm just worried about the scale jumping up as it's kinda high in sodium, I'm going to do my best to get the water in though.

Good morning ladies! You're welcome Deb.

Unfortunately it (cream of mushroom soup) caused me to gain as I didn't drink enough water. Needless to say the scale and I aren't friends today but I'm downing the water as I type now. I must admit, seeing the number I did today put me in a 'panic mode'. I now have a great motivator to lose this extra weight, we just ordered our tickets for the jazz festival this morning so in June I'd like to be at a more comfortable weight. I know I should just want to lose weight for myself, but having that extra motivation helps.

You will be fine Shari, DONT PANIC!!! you know what happens when we do that!...

WATER RETENTION!!! remember that.. and it sounds like you do... I loved my Mushroom soup Steak today! O M G!! so good!

I won't be weighing until my weigh in day on Saturday, so I know it will be fine. No way am I going to be a daily weigher for awhile. I am too fragile..

you're right Deb. I know it's water/sodium weight but I still don't like seeing higher numbers. I shouldn't have weighed but I don't like going too long either..that's when I gain weight. I have to find a happy medium.
