Unfortunately he does not have somebody who fills that role. My DH and his brother try their best but they both have 3 kids and are very busy. Plus, they don't want to step on their sister's toes with parenting advice.

So sad for your friend. But there is some value in realizing the time is short and celebrating and recognizing the time that's left. Create happy memories, bittersweet though it may be, and like you said, make it better in your own head. Cherish your loved ones, and recognize the gift that even shortened times allow. Really appreciate this reminder to count our blessings!

Thank you Julie, so very true..

I am going to do the best I can and spend as much time with her as I can. I know she feels like life is going on without her here at work, but we do miss her. She has retired on disability so we don't get to see her like we did. Will work on making this special.

Ok, so maybe it is all in my head, but I took the pterostilbene yesterday and this morning, plus I got some Resveratrol to take with it. I have NOT BEEN ABLE TO THINK OF ANYTHING I WANT TO EAT AT ALL.

Holy smokes, what a difference 2 days makes. I don't have to eat if I don't want to, and I don't. I am so happy. Thank you for telling me about this. I hope it keeps up, and that it is not some fluke.

I am baking up a storm for the weekend, like I always do for the week ahead, and now I don't feel like eating ANYTHING. Wow... this is such a change. Praying it continues for me.

Thank you Shari! I am taking both because I saw someone on that big thread taking them. Thought I would give it a shot. I love the results so far. I am eating breakfast now, but probably could do without. No knawing hunger of any kind.

I ordered the Jarrow Pterostilbene and Natrol Reveratrol Diet. The Rev is about half the cost, and may not even be necessary, but I REALLY wanted great appetite supression.

I love that I can feel not hungry like on HCG, but am able to make my own food choices without worrying about the fat and all that stuff the HCG plan says not to have..

I've been doing good..down a few pounds but can really stand to lose another 7-8lbs to feel really good in time for Thanksgiving. These supps would really help to not overdo it then.

That is the way I felt too Shari, It is not a huge amount of money, so if it didn't work, no big deal. I hope this works for you also!! I just feel indifferent to food, but if I want to eat I can. It doesn't make you feel queasy or hyper like diet pills used to do for me back in the old days.

This is not a diet pill, so makes sense. I don't know exactly how it works, but I won't question it too much... Just go with the flow!

Good morning Deb, thanks for your prayers. We're hunkering down here as the schools and government are closed today. It's raining pretty steady and heavy but they're saying the worst of it will come later with high winds. Keeping us all in prayer for safety.

Yay, I'm so glad it's working!!

I hope it does the same for me, placed my order yesterday. Due to the weather it may not come until later this week but I'm anxiously waiting.

Yes, still doing WW, more Core like. I can go a whole day eating such a small amount that I am SHOCKED. I have been snacking instead of eating a meal. I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!!!! Yesterday, I counted points just to see what it was, and I only ate 18 points... amazing to me..

I know! I never ever eat this little food normally. I usually use my weeklies also. I am going with this as long as I can! I am definitely not worried about not eating enough....

Hope everyone is ok this morning. I talked to my daughter around 9pm last night and she still had power. Her old neighborhood in Queens though, was burning down... so sorry for all those people!!!

I will get an update this morning sometime when she gets up. Meek, Shari, Gracie, and anyone else who was in the path, I hope all is well with you..

Nothing new to report. The supps are still doing their job. I probably should eat a little bit more, because I felt kinda icky yesterday. Not worried though.

I have power but G doesn't so he's here with me now. I'm glad to hear the supps are still working, I'm excited to get my order and try it but it may be awhile. I checked the status this morning and it's in NY of all places so I expect to not get it until later this week.
