Thank you Ladies!! I think I am maintaining well this time because I followed the plan closer..... who woulda thunk?

Honestly, I was not PERFECT, but I did stick to Omaha rules, ate around 700 avg cals, and still lost 19 pounds and then 2 more in P3. I am very happy with that!!! I think since I am not overeating this P3 I am not gaining either.

Before, a couple years ago, I was just so happy to be in P3, and have FAT, that I overdid it everyday. Following Robin's hunger scale, ( not perfect!!) but learning each day when I should not eat just to EAT, is working!!

Jan, have you started your round yet? I need to go read more. I hope you have a GREAT ROUND!!!!

Julie, rock P3 girl!! Good luck with the InLaws there!!

Not much new happening here! Back to work after 4 days off...... Weekends I eat more, for sure, so happy to be back in a routine I guess..

This morning's weight was back to 180.4. Still 1.6 below my LDW. happy.

Checking back later, I hope everyone has a nice Monday!

Thanks Meek! It is kind of tough just trying to maintain, I WANT TO LOSE.... However, for this round at least, I want to set in this weight, I don't want to have to lose it again. THEN on to losing more!

I am having a great Monday, and lovely weekend! YES, much deserved. Glad you could have some time too.. you need it! BUSY LADY!... Happy you are doing better, I worry about you!..

Congrats on stabilzing very well!! I agree, you want desperately to get to P3 when in P2..then in P3 you miss losing on an almost daily basis so want to go back to P2..LOL. I look at Brenda and how well she maintained following the protocol as written and honored her time in P3 for stabilization..which I believe helped her keep the weight off. You're doing fantastic!!

Thanks Shari, and yes, Brenda is a great example, and I have to learn patience. PATIENCE is a virtue....

I will live in the moment and allow the process to work... thanks for the reminder!...

I'm w/ Shari-love your "live in the moment and allow the process to work" comment!! This is very good to be reminded of! I am doing my first CD today and I'm happy w. it!! I love GY, so I hardly suffer on these days. It's back to understanding the "mental" aspect to the plan. I'm not truly hungry today, but I want to eat. I wonder if that will ever go away? I do much better when I keep busy, but being home full time and homeschooling my kids gives me too much down time around the kitchen!

Have a great Monday!!

OH Julie you are homeschooling? GOOD LUCK!... Kidding, I never did it, but speaking of the word patience... I don't have enough for that! Enjoy the kids though!!.. and you are right, must keep busy to stay out of the kitchen!

Hope your GY day goes well for you!!! I am sure if you love it, it will! ENJOY!!!!

This morning was 181 ... ugh. Inching back up. Still under by a pound, but I think I will just have a nice clean day today, less fruit maybe. Anyway, not worried, and this is normal, but I don't like going UP,

Oh well, today is another busy day, kind of enjoying being busy, but I end up stuck at my desk most of the day instead of getting up and walking around, or getting any kind of movement going. That is the drawback. When I am home, I am constantly up and doing something!!!

Everyone have a great day! back later.

Man, I should just add ditto marks beneath every post Shari puts up

I agree, you're still BELOW LDW!!! I'd be thrilled!! I was 2lbs below LDW my first day of P3 (happy, happy day!!) and struggled back to 1.4 above LDW today!! Even following the plan I'm still gaining. Hang in there, and enjoy your maintenance phase. You'll be back to P2 soon enough and wishing for some fat . Your fluctuation is totally normal!!

And yes, I'm homeschooling my dd's. This is our second year. So far, so good . Truthfully, I love it!! I love that I'm actually training my kids and know what they're learning. I also love that my 12 y.o. dd isn't caught up in the shallow teenage drama that is typical. She's kinda' annoyed by her "friends" who she thinks are shallow and vapid . I love that she's deeper and much more mature than her peers, but I'm also a bit sad for her as finding *good* friends is pretty hard for her. But, in the long run, missing out on fights over popularity, the "in" crowd and tween boys is a blessing .

Thank you Julie! I know I know!.. I agree that your daughters will benefit and so will you!!! I just never had the patience after having a day care in my home for 10 years..... I was ready to send them to school...

Our town is not a big one though, and back then, things were fun and not the drama and all that is out there now. You definitely have a mature child if she can see what is happening with the friends... That will get her a nice healthy start to her teens.. Good luck!!!!

Nothing new here! Weight 181 and holding. Finished up my watermelon and cantaloupe yesterday, so today, eating much less in the carb department. I love summer fruit so much, but I think I am ready to lose more weight, which means less carbs.

SO! Hope everyone is having a great day

Good Morning Deb!!!! I can see you are still doing good also. KUTGW chick, hopefully I can post on a regular basis now. My job has been laying people off like crazy. We had another layoff last Thursday and the ones that are left we have to do more with less. I'm sure everyone knows what I mean by that, but I have missed you guys.

Pati~ I 100% agree with what Deb said about having fun with your family and friends. I have an email that was sent that really hit home. I'll try to post in my journal in a bit.... glad to see you.
