Thank you Brenda that is very sweet! So far my non plan is working for me well. No I am not losing fast, but that is ok now. At least I am downward trending, where before I bounced all over the place!..

Deb, the more we learn to listen to our bodies, the better we will start to feel, and make the right choices when it comes to our food. In the process, we will lose weight. I think letting go of the diet mentality helps us release STRESS and then we start losing weight naturally. I love it!!!

Thanks Pati!! I was really shocked to have that loss, because I am not looking for anything to happen to quickly while I learn. So this was a wonderful suprise!!..

YES!! big big stress reliever, and just knowing that I don't have to think about food all day anymore, is so freeing... LOVE THIS!! One step at a time of course...

Yes Meek we will!!! and we are NOT perfect, can't try to be perfect, and have to accept our mistakes.

Ok so today, I brought a variety of food, but of course I love the cookies. Now I don't need sugar at all. None. However, I wanted some. Now I am full. I don't like feeling this way. THE BEST part of IE is that we can correct it with our very next meal. Immediately.

We don't have to eat again until we are truely hungry for food. I won't eat again until later today. I am only kinda irritated at myself, because I did not want to be full before lunch. However, I am. So, I readjust my meal time to later. Easy.

Thanks Shari! I did better last night, having a light meal. I think this is going to be my natural path. I will most likely have the majority of my food during the day, then very light at night. I feel better going to bed on a close to empty stomach. No more worrying about it!! Day by DAY!!!!

Did not weigh when I first got up today, so I will wait till tomorrow. Everyone have a great day!!..

Thank you Maggie!! I do feel good about where I am today. I just don't worry anymore. So freeing! I am not thinking about what I am going to have at a party for my coworker's retirement. I will just have what I love, and leave the rest!

I eat a light dinner most days myself. So days varies though...based on how much I've eaten during lunch.

That sounds great Meek!! I am happy to learn more every day about Intuitive Eating. I even asked my naturally thin sister who has always been skinny some of her secrets. Here is what she emailed me:

I for sure get a "I have had enough" signal ... sometimes my love for what I am eating over rides that signal It is usually just discomfort, no space left, I would feel miserable if I eat any more sort of sensation. I think because I am so active and have a lot of things that I love to do, that many times I don't think about eating, until I just get really hungry and want to stop everything so that I can eat right then and there!! I never feel like eating after dinner, so I don't. My largest meal is usually lunch and I rarely snack on anything, if I do - cheese / almonds

Thanks for sharing this... Oh how I cannot wait to get to this point. Staying busy and active really does help too. I need to do more things on the weekends which is usually the time I eat more and not pay attention to my cues.

I'm a work in progress... Better days are surely ahead, right?!

ME TOO!!! She runs a yoga studio so she is active, happy and full of ZEN.. That is her in my signature with my Dad. Always a skinny girl... must be nice!!..

Oh yes, and that is her son who is now 29! She is the same weight she was back then. About 100 pounds soaking wet!..

Well the scale is up .2 this morning, but my own fault. My dinner was good ( RIBEYE) and I didn't want to stop at fullness... It's ok though, I ate nothing the rest of the evening.

Today, I work on not snacking, and eating till comfortable... I brought mostly Atkins type foods which I LOVE anyway! Hopefully it will be a great day!

Busy for me though, so I will check in with everyone at lunch!
