Well still maintaining the same weight for a week, but I have had all sorts of differerent foods, and different cal ranges, etc. SO, the experiment continues as I try to pull back just a bit on my portion sizes.

I LOVE THE NO DIET FREEDOM THOUGH!! WHOO HOOOOOOOOOO

Pati-love the cartoon!!

I'm at the tip top of my weight range, but not sweating it. I'm running tonight at dd's vball practice . I've got steak in the fridge to do a correction day tomorrow. Hopefully I won't need it, but I'm due for a good old fastioned CD.

Enjoying the "no diet" metality greatly. Need to allow myself variety and not overeat when I do have something historically I haven't allowed myself to have. Baby steps .

Thank you Julie, this is definately a work in progress!!! Everyday is a challenge, because we are so wired to think bad bad bad and good good good where food is involved.

WE need to realize that Food is just Food and it has no good or bad value. Some things may be more healthy than others for sure!! But I feel like as the days pass, I am choosing more of the healthy things my body wants. SOOOOOOOOO keep it up!..

I'm branching out this weekend, thanks to your inspiration. I'm lowering the fats which I have intentionally been upping, to compensate for a bit higher carb weekend. We'll see where this lands me. I'm not going to actively pursue formerly "forbidden" foods, but I'm working on listening to what my body wants, and balancing that with what I think it needs. Hope to be able to relax a bit, not think so hard on diet, and enjoy myself and my family.

Hope you have a great weekend and that scale settles down and starts going down for you .

Deb as long as the "scale monster" shows a downward trend and your clothes feel not so tight that is a great sign that your body is ing what you are doing for it. Enjoy the moment and remember how it feels.

Hey Brenda!... Today is going great!! HAHA.. no no that is my daughter, but I will be sure and tell her you said I look awesome!... These are my 3 oldest kids.. I still have 2 younger daughters also!!..

That sounds WONDERFUL JULIE!!!! We just have to sometimes take that leap of faiith and give things a try. I know dieting has gotten me afraid of food, and fatter honestly. Yes, I can lose weight by following a diet, but I end up back higher than where I landed! I don't want to be skeered of food anymore.. and so far this daily mental thing is going very well!!

This is not easy by any means, but by golly it is worth it!! Today I woke up to a 3 pound loss!!! WITHOUT DIETING !!! no restrictions other than really trying to hear what my body wants, and not my eyeballs.

I am so excited about this!! All week long I had conversations in my head saying are you sure you want that??? Also saying things like maybe you really should do another diet... and I kept resisting those thoughts. I am happy as a clam with a 3 pound loss after a week of nothing but .2. No more dieting for me!! EVER!!!!

Thanks Maggie!!! I agree, my clothes are looser after this small victory, but I am so darn happy! I am headed outside now and going to be working on the yard. It is gorgeous out there!!! Cool yes, but sunny and awesome!!

Another day of maintaining!! MY NEW LOWER BY 3 POUNDS weight!!... Hey I will take it. I ate a bit over my comfort yesterday so I did expect a gain.

No gain!! I think my body likes not dieting quite a bit. I know it has been very confused by me in the past year. Now I really MUST not go over my sastisfaction feelings. When I do, I can tell right away, but if it tastes really good, I want to keep eating. BAD IDEA.

I am working on it though! this is definatlely a process that will take time and effort, but is so worth it!

Thank you Meek!! It really does take time which is why I am giving myself lots of slack when my mind tells me things. I am holding tight to my resolve, and everyday I get a tiny bit better at listening to my body.

Today I am up 2 hours earlier and am maintaining my loss!! I know a few trips to the bathroom will give me a loss... so I am not worried...
