Thanks Meek! I had a wonderful weekend, enjoyed my Son and the game. It did rain alot, and was cold, but I still had a great time!..

So today I am being very mindful of my eating, and portions, and using the IE principles as much as I can. So far so good!..

I will catch up later.

Thank you Ladies!!.. Still pluggin along with the LC and IE. LOVE IN IT!!..

Today I have a variety of foods to choose from with me, does not mean I have to eat them all or even most of them. I just like to listen to what I really WANT, and have a bit of that. I eat so much less this way!.

Thanks Maggie! I AGREE! it is very freeing!.. most of us have DIE ted for years, in my case since I was 13. It is time to say bye bye to restriction, and LIVE IT. I am not ready to DIE yet.

Well I have stayed the same weight for 4 days now, so I know that I can maintain!.. NOW, to start working on the losing part...

This will be the trial and error, maybe just cutting back portions a tiny bit each meal, and see how that goes. I am really interested in seeing if I can control my own destiny!!!...

Honestly? Whatever I want. So far, I WANT meat. I also had sausage gravy this morning. AND Saturday morning. I love Sausage Gravy..

I also had pizza Saturday night. I had a ham and cheese sandwhich with real bread yesterday. I also had a ribeye. Homemade Chocolate. Homemade soup.

The secret for me in maintaining, is recognizing that feeling of satisfaction and stopping. THAT IS A CHORE!!!.. a work in progress. NOW I want to lose, so I am going to push this a bit further, and stop at the first hint of satisfaction. Not full.

Thank you!!.. If I can eat my way meaning whatever, like a normal person who does not diet, AND be able to lose weight, I will be thrilled!.. I know me though, and I will be fighting myself off with a stick to not start yet another diet.

I KNOW ME.. but I have to fight that because it has only gotten me fatter.

We are all a work in progress. I think that losing weight is like the seasons we have in life. Sounds as if you are in the season to lose some. Maintaining the weight I feel is just as important as the losing part. I have to remember this is not a sprint but a long marathon of learning new things and changing old habits, it is a process. I am glad you are working things out as I am too!

I totally agree!!

Deb-this is such a great "experiment" you're doing!! So happy for you!! I am also learning about "listening" to my body and stopping when I'm satiated, not stuffing my face. I think the lifetime of dieting and deprivation (heightened by the hcg plan) has the vicious rebound of binging and it's a bad cycle. Once we get to the point where our bodies and minds understand that nothing is "forbidden" we'll be strong and (hopefully) slim!! good challenge to me today!! Thanks!

Wow, it's a reason I stopped here first..some wise and thought-provoking posts!

Deb~I think it's wonderful that you're maintaining while eating freely. It's funny, I was thinking this morning in the shower how I really want to be able to do this one day. The mental 'restriction' gets tiresome and then I get burned out on 'dieting' which like Julie said leads to bingeing. I love JUDDD for this reason...I never felt so free with my WOE...it was the DDs that was getting me though... You're doing wonderful...KUTGW and keep us posted!!
