I am having a great start to my UD! First of all I woke up lighter which tells me if I do what I am supposed to I will be successful!! I will post my official weight next week. I think eating this way makes me look forward to my UD meals...and I want them to be good foods, not just anything ole thing. Wishing you all a good Friday and luck in you WOE!!!

I hear ya I am the same way in the begining I was like oh! boy I hope this doesn't lead me down a dark road of junk food but surprisingly I actually want good foods/healthier options. I ate more junk then I sould once and it wasn't pretty it's like if I start then that's what I want but if I don't start I won't crave it.

You are doing great!

Thanks girl!! Who woulda thunkit! lol I really am cool with staying in my calorie limit on UDs. Some days I have a hard time meeting my cal requirement. Crazy but if I wasn't on this plan I would not care of pay attention to how many cals I consumed. Its def a mind over matter thang!

Need some clarification

Hey can anyone explain what a MD is? I am just curious before I claim to have had one and not know what the heck I am talking about. Thanks!

Hi Friends!!! I didn't post at all yesterday. We have friends over to watch the game. S/N So happy the Giants beat the Pats! In my humble opinion, Tom Brady is overrated. Happy he was shut down yesterday! Ok, since I got that off my chest we all know social gatherings=food! So I made whiskey/bbq sliders, Asian hot wings, french dip crescent, veggie tray, hot crab dip with french bread, sangria, oh and these cute little strawberry stuffed cheesecake bites. I will have to post a pic of that. Anyway, I enjoyed myself. But I didn't stuff myself. I did eat everything and I will probably be up a pound but that is the beauty of JUDDD! I may not even show a gain or the pound will be gone sooner than later. Cuz its only water! Needless to say today is a DD for me. Ciao, BBL!!

Yes, food pics please. Nice menu...Gracie and I totally agree with you regarding Brady, ugh. I planned MD to be half the cals of my UD. I don't know for sure but if your cals or UD is 2000, then MD would be 1000. At least that's the number I went with either way..LOL.

Dr. Johnson does talk about this in the book I think??? Take your UD and DD calories and average them. I do 600 cal. DDs and 1900 cal. UD - so my average is 1250 calories/day. That is what you use for a MD. It may slow your progress though but a lot of people use it to get through a special function or the weekends. Say Friday was a DD, Saturday is a MD, Sunday is an UD, then Monday is a DD. You just have to make sure you don't start turning your MDs into UDs! I believe you have to follow a MD with an UD because 1250 calories is still pretty low. I hope I explained it without confusing you more!!!

A good rotation for an entire week:

Monday: DD
Tues: UD
Wed DD
Thurs: UD
Friday: DD
Saturday: MD
Sunday: UD

Then back to a DD on Monday. I'm not sure how it affects weight loss but it makes the weekends much more doable!

ETA ~ I would stick to the UD/DD/UD/DD rotation at least for the initial induction period of 2 weeks before adding MDs.

Happy Day!!

Wow!! I feel great today! I was so drained yesterday from the weekend. Planning parties takes so much out of you! I just chilled out for most of the day and I really needed the rest!

Today is UD. I have already had my oatmeal. I am not sure what else is planned on my menu for today but it will be filled with some really good eats. I will post my menu later. I have a couple errands to take care of and its supposed to rain most of the day. I am heading out now hopefully I can make it back before the rain!

Oh my hubby is taking me to Vegas for Valentine's Day so excited. We've been there before but we stayed with his relatives out there. This time we booked a room. Can't wait to go!!
