LOL Cara, on the extremes.... So true! We always get irritated when the news gets the toothless uneducated troll to comment about the local news event out of all the people in the area. No wonder people outside of the area think that is a rep. of the local population! LOL

Some of my family was just in Yachats for a week and had a snowy stormy time of it-- awesome! I'm over right next to Portland. My family gets what I do, just with a side of rice... I rarely cook separately!

Ang- dont tire yourself out trying to keep up maybe post your meals every other day or maybe just lunch or dinner, dont make it be work that burns you out, then it is not good! I see you are doing well putting yourself on a schedule that is good! We miss our Ang though, so I am glad if you come back and report tonight, I am not witty this week trying to cut the smoking, I am just getting by trying not to cry all day, LOL Being an addict sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This LR I'm doing is kinda like what you are doing...no snackin'; 3 meals a day....Trying....I SO want to snack right now....Not going to though!

Lunch: Tuna w/ cottage cheese, mayo, fresh parsely, diced celery, green onion, capers, dijon, lemon juice, dill weed, garlic powder, cracked pepper


Breakfast: Jimmy Dean All Natural sausage patty, 3 fried eggs in butter


Dinner:
Homemade Meatloaf: ground beef, ground sausage, eggs, yellow mustard, ketchup, garlic powder, cracked pepper, Worchestershire sauce, liquid smoke; topped with extra ketchup
Brussels sprouts pan fried with butter, garlic, salt & pepper; blue cheese crumbles


Dinner: Shrimp and spinach with pesto (YUM)


Breakfast: Bacon & eggs


Dinner:
Sliced & fried polish sausage (chicken basil)
salad w/ fresh basil, grape tomatoes, avocado, green onion, fresh mozarella, evoo, balsamic vinegar, fresh garlic, cracked pepper

Aww Ang- I am sorry you are in a funky mood, I hope you pull out of it, is the diet making you funky or something else? Try to focus on how far you have come, if you are getting hungry and cranky, eat a snack!! We want our Ang back, but I know how it is, I never want to feel like I did these first few days of not smoking, ughghg I said I never want to go through that again!

Ang, I can't tell you how many times I have been blah about lc and I've come on here and I see the pics of your food and it looks GOOD...and it makes me thinking wow, that really looks yummy, I can do this. Angela, if keeping up with the journaling and food photos is stressing you out, then by all means stop doing it for a while! Stress is NOT good for weight loss. You've got to find your way through this thing in a way that works for YOU. But stay on plan, all the same!

Good afternoon, lovelies! Thank you for all your kind thoughtful words, they mean a lot to me. You guys keep me going! I don't know what the hell happened, but I loosened the reins big time. (as in, ZOMG there are cookies baking in my oven RIGHT NOW!!)

Seriously, I am making a batch of Candace's Low Carb Peanut Butter Cookies. For no reason. My son is totally delighted, and frankly, so am I. They smell heavenly and I am going to eat them. Guilt free.

Since I willfully spun off my simple plan, I need a new simple plan that is more... uh... simple. I still love my three meal plan, but I am going to add an *optional* *small* snack if I need it. Somedays I don't, and some days I really do. I am also going to make one low carb dessert a week. I just love making and eating desserts too damn much. I feed sad when I think about not ever having any for a long time. I don't want to be sad. Where I went wrong in the past is having desserts every day, then all day, then that was all I ate. Yeah, I'm stupid like that. Anyway, Not having ANY skewed me, so I just have to be careful and pay attention. I know I can do it, because I did it at christmas with the mousse.

So, that's about all I'm changing. I will probably ease off the photos, too-- not interesting meals, of course-- but seriously, the bacon and eggs can get the heave ho, who cares about those? I show them to you every damn day. Wings, probably, too. Same damn wings. But, I like taking the pictures, so I'm going to limit it to interesting meals and whatever else I happen to feel like.

I really need to not burn out again. That's just no good.
