I don't know...my DH has never been that enthusiastic about the typical 'sexy' lingerie. I like stockings and lace and all that jazz, but he's always kind of liked the cute, wholesome thing better than slippery satiny sexy stuff. He likes dorm pjs and that sort of thing. He actually bought me those not-sexy Tinkerbell fleece jammie pants Weirdo

Good evening, Ladies.

Yeah.

I had my chocolate mousse. It wasn't even that good. I'm just cranky. 46 days in a good mood, and whammo, not in a good mood anymore. I've been drafting a pattern, solving a 450 year old mystery, and I was so wrapped up in it I neglected everything-- didn't take my vitamins, didn't do my kettlebells, I HAD A SNACK, and I had dessert. Oh yeah, it was all low carb, but what a sucky day. Awesome in the sewing department-- I really did solve a 450 year old mystery-- but not so great on the weight loss front. My honey badger was caught napping and the snake stole it's thunder.

I don't even feel like reporting or editing and uploading my pics or anything... I still took pictures of my meals, I just don't feel like doing anything.

So, yeah. Love you all dearly but I'm going to bed. Taking my vitamins first. See you tomorrow. I better wake up the badger.

My first post in your journal and this is what I get???

WE BOTH HAD DESSERT!!! It saved me from a drive to McDonald's!!!! 1/3 cup of cream cheese and a tablespoon of pumpkin cream cheese!!! U got the pic right? IT WAS AWESOME!!! Sorry your wasn't. Today is a new day! Get your sparkly butt back on plan!!!! I want pictures!!! I sent you my lunch and dessert pictures yesterday!!!!

NOW PUT THOSE HONEYBADGER BIG GIRL BLOOMERS ON AND GET BACK IN HERE MISSY!!!! FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION!!!! Heck I was peeved when I saw I gained exactly to the tenth of a pound my starting weight!!! SO WHAT!!! Did I want to quit? YES!!! But I didn't. You can have the damn mousse every blue moon. Why don't u plan once a month. Mousse everyday and the Big Trip and Carb Creep and other junk had us both floating along for months. U can sit a ponder all day about one stinky chocolate mousse or be glad you don't even like them anymore and move ya sparkles!!!

AREN'T YOU ARE ALLOWED TO BE CRANKY EVERY SO OFTEN????!!!

YES the GIRLSCOUTS!!! They are sneakier that the Keebler Elves!!!

Ang: We are bonded because of our imperfections. You post makes me feel normal. We have to have a few dips in the valley to understand the views from the mountain tops. I am glad you are seeing success and contentment with your sewing. The rest will fall back into place. Sending hugs and I know you will get back into the groove.

HEY YOU!!!

Okay...so here's the bottom line: Stop it

You're fine. You didn't even do anything "bad"...you just had a day in which you didn't perform *perfectly*. That's a bit of a standard you set for yourself to live up to in order not to feel like a 'failure'. Just remember that the 'rules' you broke are rules you imposed...and they are not engraved on stone tablets anywhere in this world or the next. When I was doing my weight loss phases, my doctor gave me very wise counsel and a lot of information on what stress does to your body that makes it very very difficult for you to get rid of fat. When we wig out, we cause hormone cascades that put our bodies into "save yourself, she's trying to kill you" mode. For real. Fight or flight. Even little anxieties about the scale can roll you into this overproduction of steroids that make it really really hard to lose. Read about it. If you do, you will be forever convinced that the best course of action when you feel grumpy, or the least bit freaked out over anything at all (this includes being p*ssed at yourself for breaking your own rules ), is to draw a warm bath, light a candle, pour a giant glass of lemon water and chill the frig out. No kidding. Don't get your panties in a bunch over stuff when you're trying to lose weight. It is counterproductive.

Now...TELL ME about the mystery solution, please!

Thanks for all the great advice and kind words ladies! You're all right and I'm fine. Probably just TOM coming my way and it nipped at me. I'm good. Still busy wrapping my head around my solved mystery, though, and it has to do with making heavy decorated sleeves magically hover off the shoudler with no visible means of support. I DID IT!! I'm still working on it, but wanted to take a break and give you guys some love!

Girls, yes, we are having rough times here. Amber probably the worst. We need to be strong and slap ourselves out of the pity mood. We can overcome these obsticals. We have already lost astronomical numbers! Huge percentages of our overall weight! We are tough women. We can do this! Ang, get your sparkly tush back here! You are going to do this! You are our Glam! She can do it! WW can kick the butts today! Once you kick them Amber, then the meds can be dealt with. The weight will come off. One issue at a time. Right now, kicking those cigs to the curb is the most important for you I believe. You will really kick arse in the gym once they are out of your system! Come on girls! YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!

Yes, and usually these magic hovering sleeves are loaded with ruffs and lace and jewels and heavy damask. It was quite a head scratcher, as there are no extant garments left in existence and no tailor's pattern books of this style to tell the tale. But I did it. Is is historically authentic? Hell if I know, but it sure looks like it! So, I am at the sewing machine, and the dress form, and the cutting table, drafting and mocking-up all day.

XOXOXO

I second this. I am up 3.5 pounds UP so far and I have eaten pretty damn clean. I know very well that half a dinner roll and 5 bites of frozen yogurt did not give me 3.5 pounds of fat, but its so freakin frustrating!

Gettin my beeotch boots on and getting angry now
