Load up on protein during your eating window. And at night... CHUG! You won't be hungry and the weight will fall off.

B: 2 boiled eggs
L: Diff stuff( baked fish, tuna, turkey roll ups, ect. If it's lc I ate it)

That would require me to lost 6.5 minutes of sleep and be awake enough to cook...LOL I have the Costco ones in my freezer. I'll see what I can do.

Here I am! Back from living at the beach! In a tent! Eating glorious junk foods by a campfire!

...and I feel like utter crap. Complete camping hangover. Everything aches. I feel a billion years old and bloaty and winded and fat. Sooooo fat. I did have a really good time, but wow am I in no shape for camping or travelling of any kind. I'm a mess.

Anyhoo, I'm done. I'm too old for this ****. I am right at the age where everything is going to blow up in my face-- and it will blow up hard and with no warning, I'm sure. Cancer, Diabetes, Heart Failure, Kidney issues, whatever ******** ravages our society, it's leering at me from the periphery. I am currently healthy, but that can change in a heartbeat, literally. Then there is the more obvious factor-- my active young son deserves two active parents. (He already has one-- my husband-- but he needs me, too.) Camping, biking, hiking, swimming, travelling-- I don't want it to be hard for me. I like doing that stuff.

Yeah, yeah, I've been here before. You've heard it a million times. I've tried to stay focused, I don't know why I always screw my health over. I feel sooooo good while low carbing. I feel so good weighing less.

So, here I am again, starting all over, back up in the 280's, feeling ashamed of myself and frankly pretty miserable. Physically miserable, though... mentally I'm alright. I'm not depressed and hopeless. I feel like starting again and wanting to feel good and taking good care of my body.

Well, I'm off to catch up on everyone's journal. What did I miss?

You know, we all have to get to a point where we say, "Enough is enough!"

It's a miserable position to be in and all I can do is give you a hug and tell you what you know...you can do this. You deserve to do this. For you. Not for anyone else or to be a better fill-in-the-blank. Truth is we could all be better fill-in-the-blanks. Cuz no one is perfect. But for you. I want this for you. Cuz I want to see fun Ang taking charge and kickin azz baybee!!!

And let me tell you. You make the greatest Messes (plates of gorgeous foods combined that are tempting and tasty!!) Can't remember what you call them though! *blush* So you can do this. You have the technology!

And so glad you enjoyed the beach and had one last fandango. Now it's time to settle in with us and kick some booty to the curb! We can do it together hon!!! And btw, you know a busload of that is fluid!!!! It'll fall off and you will feel better in no time.

Now the other part of this...fall is around the corner. What is your plan to combat SAD? I'm also convinced you are one of the people who's chemistry is really altered on low carb. So maybe you could stick to Julia Ross's thing? Or who is the woman thyroid doc? Where you keep your carbs up at 40g net? I swear the difference of that for me is a make or break thing. Seriously!

and MUAH! Glad you're back Glammypoo!

heh heh Kitty! I camp with a giant tent I can stand and walk around in, and a giant Aerobed filled with pillows. I am a comfort queen! I was hardly "roughing" it. No bears or bigfoot-- well, I may have been mistaken for one stumbling to the restrooms after dark, but whatever.

Pooti, I just love your chirpy fluffy chix stuff in my facebook newsfeed. You are very inspiring and brighten my day, a lot. Thanks for that! You are very very right, enough is enough, and now is the time. I have plans for my future, and they don't include being too fat and in pain. The SAD stuff I'm not sure about, but yes, Julia Ross has a new book out, an updated version, and I will use aminos and cod liver oil and being outdoors to combat it. It will all work out-- and YES I AM MAKING YOUR REVOLUTION ROLLS. I have piles of eggs in the fridge, ready to rock. I will make the time. My health is not convenient. It is very inconvenient to be on top of it all and take the time to create the food I know is what my body needs. I am mentally preparing myself to lead a very inconvenient life-- and it's okay.

Ang it is always going to be a battle, man I blew up but in only 4 days 10 pounds of bloat came off, like I said, it never ends, we are always going to be faulty in the processing of carbs dept until they make some pill that lets us be like our freaking skinny assed husbands and we can eat all we want! At least you dont drink, man the booze kills me LOL

I am glad when you come back, you gotta be mean and keep me on track, guess what???? I am not exercising, only walking 3 miles a day-everyday and eating low carb, I messed up my knees with the MMA stuff so I am letting them heal for now, this getting old **** sucks, I am going to be 44 soon, good grief.

We can do it, I got those jeans to send you! It is amazing how quickly you see the difference too, like right away I can tell things are not as squishy!! Tell me you ate smores every night? I was planning on it for vacation but no gas stove, LOL

Oh hell yes I ate smores every night! But, I gotta tell you, they really weren't all that great. But, I ate them anyway, 'cause I'm stupid like that.

Sometimes I wonder what it will take for me to get it through my big fat thick head that i cannot eat carbs without getting bloated, cranky, achy and fat. It just can't be done. My body simply doesn't work with carbs. especially sugars and wheats. It's just the worst. But, It IS through my fat head. I get it. I really so... and yet... and yet... i still eat the sugar and wheat like an addicted monster. I tamed it for a whole year (you watched me do it) and then I allowed the carb monster to take control again, and it's been nearly a whole YEAR since I've really had any real long lasting control.

It's time. I don't know how I am going to get around my self sabotage, but I have to.

Welcome Back

Hi,
Nice to see you posting again. I am still sitting in the same spot with my leg in its brace. The wrist/elbow are out of their braces, fixators, etc. we are going through the painful process of trying to get them usable again. It is not a fun process.

I'll look forward to hearing about all of the neat meals you put together. Our food has been simple as DH is making it, but it is fine. We go out a couple days a week for a fancier dinner. I still don't have much of an appetite and that is good as I can't exercise or swim yet.

Again, WELCOME BACK!

Hugs

This makes me think about when I quit smoking all those years ago. I have no idea how many times I quit smoking. One time I though is was for good. I had quit for several months, and then................

The thing is that it takes different amounts of "starting over" for each person.

This last time I think that it is my "last time". I mean, I'm sure I'll "cheat" a few times on my way to my goal. But this time I'm doing it for ME! Every other time I had the wrong reasons to lose weight. For my husband, to look good, to not be embarrassed by my weight, to attract men...... You name the stupid reason that seemed good at the time and I had it. But I never had the right reason.

The I realized that there is only one right reason. Doing it for yourself! Losing weight is like trying to ******. You have to focus on yourself and what you want, you can't ****** for somebody else, you have to do it for yourself!

Sorry if my analogy is a bit dirty . But I've been thinking about it as an analogy for a while. Seemed like a good opportunity to use it .

Oh god JC - thanks for making me snort coffee all over my screen this morning

Hi Ang! I missed you!!!!! !! ! ! ! !! ! ! ! ! ! !! !!!!!!!!!!

Is that enough exclamation marks?

The girls have already given you some great "food for thought". They rock, and adore you and wanna tape your bum to the wagon, and hug you when you need it.

The important thing is you are doing it again. It doesn't matter how many times we screw it up, its the coming back and refocusing that matters. You know what to do, you know how to do it and you will do it. I do have faith in ya missy.

Yup eating LC is pretty inconvenient sometimes, but so is being fat!

Melissa! OMG SO FUNNY! That's a great analogy. Yep, you are right. I couldn't decipher at first, wondering how many letters are in **********? No, that's not right.*******? no... how about *****? Nope. Thanks for the clue, lol!

Seabreezes, sheesh, I think about you every day, sitting there all busted up unable to do all the wonderful things you are used to doing. I still just want to hug you and take care of you! I hope you are healing quickly and able to get around alright. You are just the sweetest and so undeserving of these injuries!

Tiggy, yep, I'm at it again. Detoxing now, strong now, must stick to it until I'm in my happy cruising place. Once I get there, I'll have to come in for daily hugs and face slaps and pinches. Well, if you're into that sort of thing. You probably are. I'll need a safe word. XOXOXOXO

JC- OMG you crack me up!

Ang the thing is even though we know sugar and wheat will make us blow the crap is still yummy and delish and 90% of America eats it with abandon and we want it. Like on vacation I was determined to eat every carb I never eat on a regular basis in fact I am pissed I didnt stuff in some pizza, LOL I love food I always will so it is always going to be a battle until they come out with the skinny pill. This week of being strict really showed me that I still need to be extremely reduced carb, if I want to keep losing, which I need to do.

So Day 6 of strict low carb!
