Day 24 and it's hard to believe

It's hard to believe that I have made it this far. It's like each day I make it through that day I feel that it only makes me stronger. I can't wait to start reporting days I exercise. I think once I hit Day 30 is when I will be reporting 2 different days. My daughter before she went to school told me that she worked out this morning. The weight loss has motivated her even more which I'm so proud of her. I told her she was totally making me feel like a slacker. I was like you should have woke me up. lol!!!

Nothing much to report other than that today I have so much work to do it is super overwhelming.

Yesterdays Intake
3 boiled eggs
3 pieces of baked chicken
Tons of Water

Hiya Janet,

Thank you so much for asking. My pain level has decreased tremendously, the meds I'm sure are the cause of that. But like yesterday I forced myself to walk where usually I would have to take breaks and I was in minimal amount of pain last night. So that is definitely a blessing.

Yes you need some of that coconut oil, it is good and boosts the metabolism and a lot of fat calories to keep you full.

Day 28 and had some struggles

This weekend was pretty difficult for me. On Friday I ate quite a bit of mexican food. I had a burrito and that shell alone is 20 grams. But that was all I had for the rest of the day. But I felt incredibly guilty for it. It had no rice no beans just meat and pico de gallo. The funny part is that it wasn't even that good to me. Saturday I did pretty good I had mostly protein a few carbs. I had Chorizo and egg with low carb tortillas and for dinner I had pork roast.

Now Super Bowl Sunday was a large struggle for me and my daughter. We went to a super bowl party and thank goodness there was food there we could eat. But the food we couldn't eat taunted us big time. The only way I think we made it through is that I promised her when we left we would go to the store and by us low carb ice cream. And that is what we did.

Nevertheless it was a struggle for us both but together we made it through. We probably overdosed on the low carb sugar free junk but better sugar free than loads of sugar. My plan is to get on as strict as I can this week and go back to my blogging everyday. I have literally missed a couple of days and I think that blogging helps me stay focused. I don't really know why I didn't blog on Saturday or Sunday for that matter. Friday I got up and running for the most part. I was super busy but I'm realizing that it is so important for me to blog everyday.

Hiya Danielle,

It's been crazy for me. My husband and I are trying to get our couple of business projects off the ground and man oh man it is difficult because I have to be so disciplined not to be on the computer for fun. I allow myself a few minutes at night to play farkle on fb and that's it. lol!!!

I miss you all as I haven't even blogged all weekend. I hope you are well sweetie!

Hello Ms. Amber,

I'm still not eating enough? Ok I will try and get more intake. It is so difficult to force yourself to eat when you are not hungry and I have to say I am so sick of eggs at this point I don't know what to do. lol!! Yeah I'm super proud of her as well. She is even more motivated.

Hi Janet,

Ok I guess! My pain level is pretty low at this point but I feel so heavy each day from the meds still. But Im not in nearly as much pain. I truly need some B12 in my life.

Jean I was worrying about you!!! OK hun, so you cheated you didn't cheat you ate off plan but you got back on plan, being around big parties is tough, you want to eat like everyone else, it gets tough, but you get through it, do not now punish yourself this week for one little veer off course, just resume your normal eating, no worries!!! The problem is when one veer turns into a full train wreck! Now you and Erica get your booty over to the scale and you are both going to have a good weigh in!!!!

Day 29 and losing momentum

Today is Day 29 and I feel as if I'm losing the zeal I had when I started on the 10th of January. I was pretty focused on my health then. It is just that it is so frustrating staying on target when I feel that it is not doing any good. The meds are obviously going to put the weight on. So why am I being so strict. Come the 10th of this month I will be able to go full force strong again because I will be able to eat more. I had low carb tortillas yesterday with peppered chicken bacon and lettuce tomato and avocado. All I could eat was one and I was stuffed. I have to figure out how I can eat more.

I will be so glad when I and others can physically see progress on my body. I'm getting super frustrated and I don't want to give up but I know how I am. I know I need to do this for myself and my daughter.

Hiya Amber,

I'm still here but hanging on by a thread. My addiction is really kickin in. I will make sure Erica and I go weigh this evening. Yesterday was a lost cause. I had quite a bit to drink and still took my meds. Needless to say I didn't awake until 1:00 which is not like me at all. I'm just not the same drinker I used to be. lol!! So sad!

Drinking as in alcohol???? None of that--totally messes with you!!!! I had 2 glasses and blew up 4 pounds that is crazy!!!! It slows down fat burning fo rlike 18 hours or something I wish I could find the article about it, it really is bad which is why I seldom drink but I do still like one every now and then!

Hun, hang in there. I usually had a loss after I was so ready to say f it all and didn't give in. In the past, that would have been the end of it and started the gaining once again. Don't you dare go down that path girl! I will come there and kick you booty back in line! You deserve so much more! You deserve to be healthy and able to gat around with less pain. Your daughter deserves a healthy mom. Do not give in! The scale will soon be your friend!

One thing you can never do is give up! I found this cartoon that is the best thing for motivating me!

"What fits your busy schedule better, excercising one hour a day or being dead 24 hours a day?"

This can also apply to eating healthy.

I will have to take it into photoshop and turn it into a .jpeg so I can post it so y'all can see it.

Love this Sandy! Very good point. Something I need to remember for sure!

Jean, hang in there honey, you know it's about the journey so be kind to yourself. You'll have those days where all you wanna do is quit, but you can't, think of all the stuff you've overcome in just a short amount of time! I bet you lost great this week too, can't wait to hear!
