Welcome back Justice! Glad to hear that life has been good to you -- you sound happy and refreshed. You will definitely reach 150 by March for your trip to Hawaii -- in fact, I'd be good money that you reach 150 well before March.

Coffee with half and half and splash of Davinci white chocolate and mint syrup
2 eggs scrambled with butter and colby cheese, Ketchup

Lunch:

Nordstrom Chicken Caesar Salad

spaghetti squash with Alfredo sauce and chicken sausage
Couple of glasses of pinot gris

Snacks:

handful of cashews

Was I intentional about my food choices?

Yes. Could have gone without the wine, but ended up at a work happy hour. Did not eat the fried balls of some lovely carb laden treat, so going to count that as a win.

Did I Drink Enough Water?

Not really. Need to keep a water bottle at work.

Did I Feel Good Today?

Pretty good. Coming off of several days of eating a lot of junk. Feeling like there is some detox going on.

Did I Sleep Well Last Night?

Fairly well. Was up at 4:30. It always takes me awhile to settle into Ketosis and my sleep is often interrupted. Plus, I am recently back from a business trip to the East Coast so still adjusting to pacific time.

Was I child focused today?

Didn't get to spend a lot of time with the boys today. Worked long hours. Spent some good time reading when I got home. Looking forward to a nice long weekend.

Did I take care of business around the house?

Not so much. Was at work most of the day. Did come home to a nice clean house compliments of DH.

Do I remember how much of my life I’ve spent obsessing about food issues?

True that.

Justice, your menu looks fantastic. Welcome back to the world of Ketosis! Yes, I love living in Boston -- I was born and raised here but I've lived other places like New York, NYC, Miami, New Hampshire. I still keep coming back to Boston -- I work right in the city and live in a nearby suburb that is 10 minutes from the city.

Are you in Seattle? You must love it. My brother has been there for 30 years and he will never leave. Hope you have a GREAT Thanksgiving!

I actually live in a small town very close to Portland. I work in downtown Portland and my commute is less than 30 minutes. Portland has a great urban growth boundary, so it allows little communities like ours to remain and prevents urban sprawl. We moved out of Portland when we had kids. We both grew up in a small town and like the community for our boys. It really is the best of both worlds. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Gail!

Back and had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I indulged in stuffing and a small slice of apple pie and a small slice a pecan pie. It was delicious and I am laying here this morning feeling gross and bloated -- good reminder for me of why I love eating low carb 99 percent of the time. I will get back on plan today. Having some yogurt and coffee for breakfast and than off to some of the sales. We have the big rivalry football game for our state today. Having a few people over. Planning to make stuffed mushrooms and wings.
